Background and History
Tuoba Xi leads the Holy Dragon Sect, one of Spirit Hall's subordinate powers. Bing Jiu considers him exceptionally steady, capable, and loyal, and keeps him at her side 4. He carries out her orders during the mission to bring Gengxin City under Spirit Hall's control, then accompanies her to the Heaven Dou Empire 4 5 9.
At Dugu Bo's herb garden, Bing Jiu selects the Nine Section White Dragon Bone for him without waiting for him to ask. Tuoba Xi absorbs it and subsequently breaks through the Rank 89 bottleneck 22 31 64. He remains in Bing Jiu's entourage after becoming a Titled Douluo 64.

Tuoba Xi is deferential toward Bing Jiu and prizes her trust. He is visibly honored when she calls him “Uncle Tuoba,” but is too reserved to ask her for a medicinal herb even when he wants her advice 14 22.
He is much less restrained with people he considers threats or irritants. He threatens Yu Xiaogang for approaching Bing Jiu's residence, clashes repeatedly with Dugu Bo, and openly resents Tang San's demands and disrespect toward the Saintess 19 29 64.
