Setting and Layout

  • Number of villages: The official launch announcement lists 10,000 starter villages in Huaxia 2.
  • Launch population: Dustseal estimates that Village 8365 holds nearly 10,000 players shortly after launch 2.
  • NPC population: The village initially has approximately a dozen NPCs, all surrounded by players seeking quests 2.
  • Entrance: Opens onto a large rabbit-filled grassland. The village chief and a circular Teleportation Array are also located near the entrance 2 10 22.
  • Northern side: Granny Liu sits outside here and offers a rabbit-hunting quest 10.
  • Scale and appearance: Dustseal considers the village small enough to navigate without a map and describes it as shabby compared with Jinling City 22 24.
  • Monster range: Novice Village hunting grounds cover levels 1–10, with one ordinary monster type at each level, according to Qingqing’s comparison of game monsters with their real-world counterparts 275.
  • Later population surge: Previously quiet Novice Villages become crowded again after the authorities publicly announce that game abilities can be brought into reality. Village 8365 is packed with players during Dustseal’s return 401 402.

Hunting Grounds

Area Monsters Level Notable features
Grassland outside the entrance Little White Rabbits 1 Thousands appear per respawn, but player overcrowding makes them scarce. Their 100 HP, 12 attack, and 7 defense make them dangerous to beginners 2 6.
Goat area Goats 2 Players commonly hunt in groups of three to five; their equipment drops provide only modest stat increases 7 10 12.
Beach Turtles 5 Slow pursuits allow Dustseal to wear them down with poison; relatively few are available 4.
Crab hunting grounds Crabs 4 Even groups of at least five equipped level-3 players struggle against them 10 12.
Boar Forest Wild Boars; Boar King 6 Ordinary boars have 2,000 HP, 70 attack, and 30 defense. The Boar King is a Black Iron boss 6 8.
Bamboo Grove and woodland Green Snakes; Giant Spiders — Dustseal inspects both species but returns to boars; Jun Lin’s group also retreats from snakes 6 10.
Spider Forest Spiders — Their webs trap players. Dustseal considers group hunting here safer than fighting charging boars 12 16.
Toad hunting grounds Toads 8 Drop copper and sticky saliva used in the healer’s quest 12 15.
Plain Wild Wolves 9 Have 4,000 HP and a Bite skill that can inflict bleeding 6.
Silver Wolf Valley Silver Wolves; Silver Wolf King 10 The Bronze-grade Silver Wolf King lives in the valley’s depths; its Monster Core is required to repair the Teleportation Array 15 18.
Wild Wolf Valley Wolves — Described as having the highest concentration of monsters around the Novice Village. Dustseal uses it to train Immortal Body and regain level 10 during his later return 403.

Other Documented Villages

Village Notable association
Village 97 World-Proud Under Heaven and more than a hundred coordinated World-Proud Heroes players defeat the Boar King here. Their subsequent departure depends on defeating the Silver Wolf King and repairing the array 20 26 27.
Village 11246 Wu Ziyin’s beginner hunting location, where she repeatedly dies while trying to fight rabbits alone 59.
Unidentified Huaxia village Becomes empty of players and NPCs after its Dimensional Wall is broken, then collapses and disappears from Oracle’s map 274.

Facilities and Gameplay Rules

Village Services

  • Auction House: Listings are visible only within the same beginner village; after departure, the equivalent market scope is the same main city. Players can sell anonymously and receive cash proceeds in linked bank accounts 7.
  • Storage keeper: Provides a personal vault with 100 slots and paid expansion. Stored items cannot drop on death and remain accessible from main cities 15.
  • Potion shop: Normally sells small, medium, and large Red and Blue Potions, which restore resources over time 19.
  • Special potion stock: Before fighting the Silver Wolf King, Dustseal finds Instant Recovery, Attack, Vitality, and Speed Potions that are not normally sold there 19.
  • Town Portal Scrolls: Are not sold in the Novice Village, forcing Dustseal to run between the settlement and hunting grounds 16 42.
  • Potion effectiveness: Ordinary village potions are weaker and cheaper than their main-city counterparts. A Medium Red Potion bought in the village restores 50 HP per second for 10 seconds and costs 50 copper coins 15 43.

Beginner Rules

  • Death penalties: Death in the Novice Village does not cost levels, but an equipment drop is guaranteed 9.
  • Location-dependent protection: When Dustseal falls below level 10 outside the Novice Village, Uncle Liu reasons that the protection against level loss applies only inside the village, not everywhere a low-level player dies 90.
  • Monster defenses: Novice Village monsters have no magic attack or magic defense; their displayed attack and defense values refer to physical stats 6.
  • Equipment requirements: Early plain equipment has no equip requirements. Black Iron equipment introduces requirements and bonus attributes 4.
  • Quest availability: Quests are much more accessible here than in the main city, where Dustseal finds them rare 25.
  • Potion drops: Beginner monsters drop potions. After reaching the main city, Dustseal observes that he no longer receives potion drops 43.
  • Equipment drop frequency: Dustseal recalls obtaining approximately one equipment drop per thirty or forty Novice Village kills, compared with one per fifteen or sixteen Goblins after departure. He does not establish whether the improvement comes from higher-level monsters, his increased luck, or both 27.
  • Later respawns: The village remains a possible respawn destination after departure: Brother Hao appears at a Novice Village respawn point after Dustseal kills him near Jinling City 33.
  • Forced return through repeated deaths: Dustseal later kills Xiao Qi, Ahui, and their fellow attackers repeatedly until they are sent back to the Novice Village 127.

Documented Quests

Quest giver Objective Reward Notes
Granny Liu Bring back 10 pieces of Little White Rabbit fur 10 EXP; 10 copper coins Rabbits are eating her radishes. Dustseal rejects the quest because its reward is too low 10.
Farmer Bring back 50 Wild Boar Tusks 500 EXP; 200 copper coins Boars are ruining his crops. Dustseal delays completion to avoid leveling before finishing his talent farming 10 15.
Old healer Hand over 50 portions of toad saliva 800 EXP; 300 copper coins Completed alongside the farmer’s quest 15.
Silver Wolf Fang quest Turn in 100 Silver Wolf Fangs EXP; silver Dustseal completes it before asking to leave for a main city 18.
Village chief Kill the Silver Wolf King and deliver its Monster Core Novice Village Hero title; luck +10 Repairs the Teleportation Array. Only one player per village can receive the title 18 22.

The boar quest has no time limit. Dustseal also notes that the boar and toad quests can each be completed only once 10 15.

Travel to Main Cities

Reaching level 10 alone is insufficient to leave: the village’s Teleportation Array must first be repaired using the Silver Wolf King’s Monster Core 18 22.

  • Village-wide unlock: Once repaired, every level-10 player in that village can speak to the chief to teleport to a main city 22.
  • Destinations: Novice Villages connect to the game’s eight tier-two main cities, not directly to its four tier-one cities 22.
  • Hero’s benefit: Dustseal receives a free teleportation as the village’s hero 22.
  • Class advancement: Leaving enables players to visit a main city’s Job Hall. Their first class advancement includes a one-time opportunity to redistribute free attribute points 22 23.
  • Main-city affiliation: The city selected upon leaving becomes the player’s affiliated main city by default. Changing affiliation requires engraving a mark on the desired city’s Resurrection Stone and paying a substantial gold fee 141.
  • Alternative entry: Dustseal later uses a Voidstone to reach Village 8365 after returning from the Netherworld Continent to the Underground World 401.
  • Later departure fee: After regaining level 10, Dustseal pays the village chief one silver coin to teleport from Village 8365 to Jinling City 403.

Dimensional Connections and Real-World Monsters

All Novice Villages are connected to reality, and their dimensional walls are exceptionally weak. Wu Shaozhen explains that a sufficiently powerful being entering a village can easily break through its wall, allowing game monsters to appear in the real world 406.

  • Early breach: An unidentified Huaxia Novice Village suffers a broken Dimensional Wall before the general monster invasion. The village becomes empty of players and NPCs as its space destabilizes 274.
  • Spatial displacement: When that village collapses, some monsters are annihilated, while others are carried into other spaces by spatial turbulence 274.
  • Real-world sightings: Rabbits, wild boars, toads, wolves, crabs, and turtles appear in mountains behind a remote village in GZ. Comparisons of photographs and game images show that they closely match Oracle’s beginner monsters 275.
  • Danger outside the game: The displaced monsters cause casualties among reconnaissance squads, and pistols cannot injure them. A level-6 wild boar uses Brutal Charge against soldiers 275.
  • Zi You’s assessment: Zi You concludes that the beginner monsters did not break the wall themselves; an accident likely opened a breach in a Novice Village and let them through 283.
  • Captured monsters: Wu Shaozhen captures monsters that arrived early and uses them as guards. Silver Wolves later guard his residence, where Dreamlight Dance warns Young Master Huang that even these beginner monsters could kill him with one swipe 286 326.
  • Wider invasion risk: Wu Shaozhen warns that breaches in Novice Village walls could allow game monsters to appear anywhere in the world, making the threat broader than the early incidents in YD 406.

Village 8365’s Equipment Market

Dustseal’s higher-level hunting supplies Village 8365 with equipment other beginners cannot yet obtain. Its first auction listing causes village-wide excitement, and later sales attract heavily funded players competing for an early advantage 7 11 16.

Item Final sale price Buyer / significance
Boar-Slaying Knife 20,000 yuan The village’s first equipment auction listing; grants +12 physical attack 7.
Duplicate boar armor 30,000 yuan Won by Jun Lin’s group after a last-second bidding contest 8.
Wolf Fang Necklace 60,000 yuan Won by Jun Lin; its attack and critical-hit bonuses drive fierce bidding 11.
Five-stat-point shoes 10,000 yuan Sell almost immediately while players wait for the mysterious expert’s next listing 12.
Silver Wolf Armor 30,000 yuan Sells while Dustseal is logged out, before he auctions the Tusk Greatblade 16.
Tusk Greatblade 120,000 yuan Acquired for Su Muxue through Uncle Liu; its Black Iron quality confirms that the Boar King killer is in their village 16 17.
Silver Wolf Ring 15,000 yuan Sold during Dustseal’s later Silver Wolf grinding 17.
Toad Helmet 5,000 yuan Sold alongside the Silver Wolf Ring 17.
Six pieces of Silver Wolf gear 20,000 yuan each All sell quickly shortly before Dustseal leaves 21.

Uncle Liu expects prices to decline as players level and obtain better equipment. Jun Lin attributes the unusually high bids to both Dustseal’s timing and the village’s concentration of wealthy buyers 13 17.

During the later influx of new players, Village 8365’s hunters still discuss Dustseal’s first auction. One player remarks that, had buyers known game abilities could be carried into reality, people would have competed to pay two million yuan rather than twenty thousand for the first equipment listing 401.

History

Launch and Early Hunting

Dustseal spawns in Village 8365 as Oracle launches. With NPCs surrounded and the entrance grassland crowded, he abandons conventional rabbit hunting to seek less contested monsters. While most players struggle over rabbits and goats, he uses Source of Venom to kill turtles, boars, and wolves above his level 2 4 6 10.

His anonymous equipment sales turn Village 8365 into a subject of widely viewed forum discussions. Jun Lin believes these sales give the village an unusually strong overall player base, even though Dustseal’s achievements overshadow its other skilled players 12 17.

Boss Kills and the Teleportation Array

Dustseal defeats the Boar King after a 36-minute battle, earning a server-wide first-kill announcement. The subsequent Tusk Greatblade auction strengthens local players’ suspicions that the mysterious equipment seller is Dustseal 14 16.

At level 10, he learns that departure requires killing the Silver Wolf King. After purchasing special potions, he defeats the boss, delivers its Monster Core, and restores the Teleportation Array. The chief explains that the village had been sealed off for many years. Dustseal then teleports to Jinling City as its first player 18 19 20 22.

His Silver Wolf King victory becomes a source of local pride, with Village 8365’s players boasting that they share his starting village despite many never having identified him in person. Before departure, Dustseal also considers the village relatively peaceful, noting the apparent absence of large-scale PvP incidents 20 21.

Class-Change Advantage

While players in other villages suffer repeated defeats against the Silver Wolf King, Village 8365’s eligible players can leave immediately. Jun Lin and Su Muxue explicitly pursue first-class-change rewards because their array is already repaired 23 26.

Village 8365 ultimately produces four of the Huaxia Server’s six first class advancements 27:

Player First class claimed
Dustseal Assassin 23
Jun Lin Archer 27
Xue’er / Su Muxue Mage 27
Call Me Young Master Huang Warrior 27

The Silver Wolf King becomes a widely discussed barrier to leaving other villages. A pinned forum thread attracts more than a million requests tagging Dustseal for a strategy; he responds with the cryptic advice to complain to the village chief 26.

Later Connections Among Village 8365 Players

Dustseal first meets Jun Lin and his friends in person well after leaving the village. Jun Lin introduces Hao Ran, Nan Feng, Xiao Bei, and Lin Zi, and Dustseal jokingly claims Jun Lin owes him money because repairing the Teleportation Array enabled his first-Archer reward 96.

The shared starting village remains relevant during the Qualifying Tournament, when Dustseal’s team faces Jun Lin’s team. Dustseal initially agrees to watch rather than fight, while Young Master Huang recognizes Jun Lin as the player who outbid him for the Wolf Fang Necklace 195.

Later Beginner Experiences and Forced Returns

Wu Ziyin struggles to hunt alone in Village 11246, repeatedly dying to rabbits and being mocked at the respawn point. Her friend Weiwei sends her fourteen silver coins for potions; Ziyin buys seventy Small Red Potions and begins defeating rabbits, though each fight consumes a potion 59.

During Dustseal’s later retaliation against the Su Group’s attackers, he repeatedly kills Xiao Qi, Ahui, and their companions until they are sent back to the Novice Village. This occurs after Su Muxue returns the Radiant Staff, pays compensation, and participates in the group’s public apology 127.

Spatial Collapse

In an unidentified Huaxia Novice Village, a tiny spatial crack expands over a week into a rift dozens of meters long. Following the breaking of its Dimensional Wall, the village appears severed from Oracle and contains neither players nor NPCs. Its remaining monsters grow restless as new cracks appear 274.

After three hours of violent spatial turmoil, the entire village collapses and is erased from the map. Some monsters are destroyed outright; others are swept into spatial turbulence and transported elsewhere 274.

The subsequent real-world appearance of beginner monsters prompts officials to compare them with Oracle’s creatures. Qingqing identifies the close match across nearly the entire level-1–10 monster range, while Zi You later attributes their arrival to an accidental breach in a Novice Village’s dimensional wall 275 283.

Dustseal’s Return to Village 8365

After returning from the Netherworld Continent, Dustseal uses a Voidstone to enter Village 8365. He is level 0, with one health and basic stats of 1, but Godslayer and his toxin damage still allow him to kill a wild boar. Nearby players see his damage, surround him, and demand his dagger 401.

Dustseal kills the group with Shadow Annihilation. At the village’s Resurrection Point, they discover his identity from their death notifications and panic, realizing that duplicate character names are not allowed and that they have attacked the famous Dustseal 402.

He subsequently enters Wild Wolf Valley to train Immortal Body. One use of Spacetime Domain and two uses of Shadow Annihilation kill more than seven hundred wolves in less than ten minutes, restoring him to level 10. Other players rush to collect the equipment he leaves behind 403.

Dustseal returns on Black Dragon, whose arrival causes players to flee under the mistaken belief that a Monster Siege has begun. He lands at the entrance, dismisses the dragon, pays the chief one silver coin, and teleports to Jinling City 403.

The Later Real-World Era

In the later era of real-world monster fighting, the safe beginner progression offered by Novice Villages is no longer available. New fighters lack resurrection and face monsters above level 10 as soon as they venture outside, leaving those without experienced guidance at a severe disadvantage 496.
