Stage / Realm / Level Chapter Notes

Level 2 — Rankings unlocked 8 Qin Feng’s advancement unlocks Shell Town’s level rankings and awards him one Reputation point.
Level 3 — Logout available 10 17 Players must reach this level before they can log out for the first time. Wang Meng’s party returns to reality after meeting the requirement.
Level 10 — Ability extraction 20 43 44 Players can spend tradable lifespan to extract in-game powers into reality. Qin Feng is the first player worldwide to reach this level.
Land of Order — Later progression 2 In Qin Feng’s previous life, powerful players reach this land in the seventh year, gaining a chance to harness order. As far as he knows, no Blue Star player actually obtains order power during those nine years.

Quality Tiers

Talents, equipment, skills, and other graded elements use thirteen standard tiers 2.

Rank Tier
1 Inferior 2
2 Common 2
3 Bronze 2
4 Silver 2
5 Gold 2
6 Platinum 2
7 Jadeite 2
8 Diamond 2
9 Epic 2
10 Legendary 2
11 Mythic 2
12 Ancient 2
13 Immortal 2
  • Rules and order are described as the ultimate powers obtainable through the game. Qin Feng’s authority of judgment is a primordial authority that supersedes both 2.
  • Infinite Evolution is an exception to ordinary skill progression. Qin Feng recalls that equipment and skill books normally retain their dropped grade, whereas his Primordial-tier talent allows him to evolve skills 4 9.

Entry and Player Creation

Entering the Game

  • From the game’s arrival onward, an adult who falls asleep has their consciousness transported to the Land Abandoned by the Gods 2.
  • The player’s real body remains visible but becomes translucent, intangible, and untargetable, existing apart from the physical world 2.
  • This protection does not eliminate bodily needs. Players still consume energy and must return to reality for food and water; remaining in-game indefinitely can cause starvation regardless of remaining lifespan 46.

Classes, Talents, and Identity

  • Class selection takes place in a dark entry space. Available options include Warrior, Mage, Priest, Archer, and Assassin 2.
  • After selecting a class, a player receives a random talent suited to it 2.
  • The random-class option can produce hidden classes. Qin Feng obtains the unique Shadow class, while Qin Xiaoyou obtains Life Priest 2 3 20.
  • Every player chooses an alias. If an alias is already taken, numbers are appended to distinguish the duplicate 4.
  • Player appearances match their real bodies and cannot be altered. A Face Concealment feature allows players to hide their faces 15.

Lifespan and Death

Lifespan Types

Type Source Uses and restrictions
Non-tradable lifespan The lifespan players possess when they enter; it can also be recovered through hunting, as demonstrated by Qin Feng’s rewards 5 6 17 Keeps the player alive. Other players cannot directly collect it from a death drop 5 13.
Tradable lifespan Obtained from Demons and subsequently exchanged between players 5 9 Sustains life, serves as currency, purchases resources, and pays for extracting powers into reality 5 9 20.
  • Lifespan becomes the world’s universal currency after the game’s arrival 3.
  • Players begin with zero tradable lifespan, making new arrivals of little value to NPCs 4.
  • A Demon can absorb dropped non-tradable lifespan. Killing that Demon converts 50% of the absorbed amount into tradable lifespan 13.

Death Rules

  • An ordinary in-game death causes respawning but removes half of both remaining lifespan types 3 4.
  • Death does not reduce the player’s level 40.
  • Players killed outside safe zones leave lifespan drops, but other players can collect only the tradable portion directly 13.
  • Reaching zero lifespan causes real death. Being killed in reality also causes death rather than an ordinary in-game respawn 3.
  • If less than one day remains, death still forcibly deducts a full day, killing the player 20.
  • Special items can override the usual penalty: a carried Ghostfire Bell prevents lifespan loss on death when its protective effect is available 25.

World and Inhabitants

Regions and Safe Zones

Location or zone Properties
Land Abandoned by the Gods Initial destination; a ruined land inhabited by monsters that attack players and steal lifespan 2 4.
Beginner towns Safe zones containing no monsters and prohibiting attacks between players. More than one hundred million exist, each accommodating at most one thousand players 4.
Shell Town Qin Feng’s starting town in the current timeline. Classified as a peaceful, mild zone with a 1× lifespan depletion rate 4.
Dark Forest Hunting area containing Crawlers, Polluters, and bosses such as the Sprinter 10 12 13.
Mourning Valley Level 5 Demon area near Firefly Town, populated by Flame Burners and Manacled Ones 34.
Golden Ghost Ship swamp Berserk zone with a 100× lifespan depletion rate 22.
Land of Order Later region offering access to the possibility of order power 2.
  • Starting-town assignment depends on physical location and entry time. Once a town fills, later entrants are sent elsewhere 4.
  • Beginner towns provide refuge but contain nothing that directly helps players grow stronger 6.
  • Activated teleportation arrays connect starting towns. Qin Feng receives one Reputation point for activating Shell Town’s array; players have a daily free teleport 20 34 42.
  • High-level areas drain lifespan more quickly, making even centuries of accumulated lifespan insufficient as a permanent safety reserve 17.

Demons

Demons are intelligent predators rather than passive targets waiting to be attacked.

  • They actively hunt players, form packs, and steal lifespan from their victims 5 14.
  • Absorbed lifespan allows them to evolve and become stronger 5.
  • They can retreat from large groups or flee losing battles 7 10 17.
  • The Cursed One advances to Silver Grade after killing more than thirty players; its accumulated lifespan is sufficient for further advancement 17.
  • Ordinary monsters rarely drop skill books. Bosses have better equipment and skill-book drop rates, but are difficult to defeat without an existing foundation of gear and skills 12.

NPCs

  • NPCs are intelligent beings from other civilizations, not programmed characters 4.
  • Careless dealings with them can cost a player their entire lifespan 4.
  • Beginner towns contain no NPCs 4.
  • Reputation can later be used to purchase high-tier items from NPCs 8.

Combat and Equipment

Attributes

All players start with ten points in each of the four core attributes, supplemented by class bonuses 4.

Attribute Effects
Strength Physical attack power 4
Constitution Physical defense and health 4
Agility Movement speed, attack speed, and skill-casting speed 4
Spirit Elemental attack power and elemental resistance 4
  • Qin Feng considers agility the most important early-game investment because ordinary monsters can easily kill beginners; speed enables both evasion and pursuit 4 15.
  • Attack speed also accelerates skill execution and reduces recovery time 26.
  • Parties can contain up to six players, with experience and tradable lifespan divided evenly 8 10.

Targeting and Damage

  • Skills have no lock-on, including healing skills. Players must aim manually, and a moving ally can evade an intended heal 27 42.
  • Combat has no conventional critical hits. Instead, striking an anatomical weak point applies a weak-point attack multiplier, initially 1.5× 17.
  • Weak-point hit correction can make precise attacks easier. Coup de Grace provides automatic correction toward weak points, with +100% correction described as effectively doubling their size 32.
  • Map objects can have combat statistics: a fist-sized stone has two physical attack and can be thrown as a weapon 7.
  • Using a weapon that does not match the player’s class provides only 70% of its effects 5.

Cooldowns and Item Effects

  • The standard cooldown statistic is cooldown speed, not cooldown reduction 13.
  • Effective cooldown follows: base cooldown / (1 + cooldown speed). A +400% bonus reduces a twenty-second cooldown to four seconds 13.
  • Probabilities above 100% remain meaningful. A 110% extra-loot chance guarantees one additional reward set and provides a 10% chance of another 10.
  • Identical items share cooldowns for corresponding special effects. Two Ghostfire Bells therefore do not provide separately reusable death protection or Soulshock activations 25.
  • Some passive effects can stack: two Ghostfire Bells combine their lifespan-drop bonuses into +40% 25.

Inventory

  • Players receive a ten-slot backpack at the start 20.
  • Additional storage items expand capacity; Qin Feng finds a five-slot storage bag and later obtains a Spatial Ring 20 28.
  • Starting towns provide no supply-storage facilities, making inventory space scarce 28.

Connection to Reality

Ability Extraction

At level 10, logging out presents an option to spend tradable lifespan on extracting abilities 20 44.

Extraction category Documented availability
Class and levels Available; class extraction costs 1,000 days regardless of whether the class is ordinary or hidden 44.
Equipment Listed as available 44.
Skills Listed as available 44.
Bloodline Listed but unavailable when Qin Feng first accesses extraction 44.
Divinity Listed but unavailable when Qin Feng first accesses extraction 44.
  • Extracted powers can grant supernatural combat strength in reality. Qin Feng’s previous-life recollections include fighters capable of tearing apart planes and tanks and potentially surviving nuclear weapons 1.
  • Qin Feng’s invisibility during his attack on Song Fei is identified as the first appearance of a game ability in reality in the current timeline 45.
  • Police investigations connect the unseen attacker, an unfamiliar dart, and disappearing lifespan orbs to Assassin abilities, prompting authorities worldwide to suspect that game powers can be used outside it 46.

Desolation Spread

  • Qin Feng recalls that the first Desolation Spread occurs one month after the game arrives 22.
  • It transforms Blue Star’s real world into a berserk zone, with more dangerous disaster zones and nightmare zones also appearing 22.
  • Lifespan depletion in reality accelerates after this spread 17.

History

Previous Timeline

The game arrives while Qin Xiaoyou is beginning college and precipitates worldwide calamity. Over the following nine years, Qin Feng becomes one of the world’s top hundred powerhouses while protecting her. His exploration eventually leads him to the Ancient God Ruins and the Ancient God Eyeball 1.

Current Timeline

Reborn at the moment of the game’s arrival, Qin Feng enters immediately instead of losing most of his first day. Meanwhile, authorities initially know only that sleeping people become intangible and cannot be awakened, leading governments to advise the public against sleeping 2 10.

The first level 3 players return and explain the game to the outside world. Governments subsequently verify that repeated in-game deaths shorten real lifespans and begin pursuing both social stability and organized exploration 17 18 20.

Qin Feng achieves the first Gold Grade boss kill, triggering a worldwide announcement audible even to previously registered players who are currently outside the game. He later reaches level 10 first and brings his abilities into reality, exposing a further threat to the existing social order 24 43 45 46.
