Geography and Structure
- Cosmic scale: The First Heaven spans a universe-sized map containing star systems, galaxies, and Super Star Domains. Its enormous area leaves players widely dispersed despite its population 1661 1662.
- Faction territories: Races and factions occupy separate regions of star systems. The First Heaven has no single unified player gathering place 1662.
- Sparse encounters: Outside established groups, players may travel for months without encountering another player 1661.
- Level-based regions: Ordinary activity areas are divided by level, although level alone does not determine combat strength 1555.
The Thirty-Three Heavens
| Region | Function and Characteristics |
|---|---|
| First Heaven | The usual activity region for level 100–199 players. Players normally ascend to the Second Heaven at level 200. Moon God Tier bosses are effectively its highest regular bosses; Sun God Tier bosses rarely appear 1659 1662 1749. |
| Second–Twenty-Ninth Heavens | Higher activity regions containing faction territories, monsters, and Empowerment Temples. The Thirteenth through Twentieth Heavens contain numerous concealed Grand Authority Successors, often with multiple Grand Authorities 1861 2220. |
| Thirtieth Heaven | The continuing leveling and monster-farming region for players at level 3,000 and above, including level 3,100 players. It is several times larger than the previous twenty-nine heavens combined 2132. |
| Thirty-First Heaven | Special challenge region. Eldritch God, Ascension, and Authority Challenges are theoretically arranged here, alongside divine realm and Cosmic God advancement challenges 1840 2132. |
| Thirty-Second Heaven | Residential and organizational region where guilds, alliances, civilizations, races, and other groups can acquire safe zones. The Offering Legion and the Angel and Demon Clans maintain headquarters here 1840 2132. |
| Thirty-Third Heaven | Location of all temple headquarters. Hundreds of Head Temples form the institutional center of Highest Heaven 1662 2132. |
Access and Travel
Ascension from Blueprint Worlds
- Innate divinity requirement: Players must integrate divinity into themselves and obtain innate divinity to ascend. The Old-Day Battlefield provides opportunities to do so 964.
- Normal routes: The Old-Day Battlefield and Time Lightship are the normal connections between Blueprint Worlds and Highest Heaven. The Time Lightship is a peaceful zone where combat is impossible 1551 1809.
- Ordinarily irreversible: Ascending through the absorption and conversion of innate divinity is a one-way journey; ascended players normally cannot return to a Blueprint World 1809.
- Arrival placement: Players entering through the Time Lightship can be assigned to regions held by their own race. Random arrivals can instead land in hostile territory 1662.
- Qin Feng’s arrival: Converting his first grain of divine source star sand caused a black vortex to transport him into the First Heaven 1812.
Travel Within Highest Heaven
- Interstellar Teleportation Arrays: Arrays connect neighboring star systems rather than providing unrestricted long-distance travel. Each use costs considerable divinity and imposes a cooldown of at least one hour 1661.
- Slow regional movement: First Heaven players generally lack independent travel methods suitable for light-year distances. Many remain in a small region throughout their progression from level 100 to level 200 1662.
- Head Temple access: Outside combat, players can teleport to their temple headquarters in the Thirty-Third Heaven. Returning places them at their original departure location, so headquarters do not function as shortcuts across the map 1662.
- Speed restrictions: The game’s overspeed attenuation normally keeps even powerful players below light speed. Qin Feng bypasses this through the Chaos and Freedom Grand Authorities 1906.
Exceptional Connections
- Chaos Source · Spacetime Rift: Phase Two of Qin Feng’s Chaos Grand Authority allows him to teleport to the rift from Highest Heaven while out of combat. Because Blue Star resides there, this bypasses the normal prohibition on returning home after ascension 1809.
- Cross-world attacks: Highest Heaven is not completely protected from powers originating in Blueprint Worlds. Qin Feng killed Blood-Secrecy Venerable and two others remotely with the Disaster Grand Authority 1599.
- Information barrier: Before ascending, Qin Feng could influence Highest Heaven residents with Extreme Love but could not sense his resulting soul believers’ thoughts or emotions 1661.
- Summoning restrictions: Qin Feng could not summon the level-150 First Handsome Man inside a Blueprint World; he needed to be in Highest Heaven or on the Old-Day Battlefield 1555.
Temples and Factions
Temple Organization
- Central institutions: Highest Heaven’s structure is built around the temples. Even powerful racial and civilization factions cannot displace their institutional position 1662.
- No NPCs: Functions previously provided by NPCs remain available through temples, but Highest Heaven itself has no NPCs 1819.
- Overlapping membership: A player can hold positions and authorities in several temples rather than belonging exclusively to one organization 1754.
- Contribution ranks: Everyday actions affect standing with individual temples. Completing Soul Shrine quests can reduce Undead Temple contribution, while killing a temple’s members also lowers standing with that temple 1819.
- Large memberships: The Judgment Temple has 74.5 billion members, mostly concentrated between the Tenth and Twentieth Heavens 1818.
- Recruitment from below: Temple representatives aboard the Time Lightship identify promising Blueprint World Temple Masters and provide resources to accelerate their development and eventual ascension 1282.
Major Organizations
| Organization | Position in Highest Heaven |
|---|---|
| Void Alliance | Maintains Void Envoys in every Head Temple. These minor-authority holders travel between temples and relay information among the alliance’s powerful members 1680. |
| Offering Legion | Angel Clan organization led by Lubens, the Light Grand Authority Successor. It owns a Thirty-Second Heaven safe zone that includes residential areas allocated to members’ families 1743 1838. |
| Hell Legion | Demon Clan organization possessing a Thirty-Second Heaven safe zone 1743. |
| Dark Shadow Association | Openly includes temples such as Chaos, Death, Extreme Love, Desirelessness, Sacrifice, and Focus. Friendly members can request assistance from Qin Feng’s Soul Projection Legion 2160. |
| Evil Demon Alliance | Opposes Emperor Qin and the Emberfire Heavenly Emperor; their dispute develops into widespread temple warfare 1754 1766. |
Political Rules and Conflict
- Protection of ordinary members: Grand Authority Successors share an unwritten agreement not to directly attack ordinary members of another temple without special circumstances. Attacks can nevertheless trigger retaliation and broader conflict 1754.
- Final Arbiter neutrality: Successors generally agree that ordinary temple members should not be punished merely because their temple supported a losing contender for Final Arbiter 1744.
- Reputation affects resources: A temple that fails to respond to attacks risks losing members’ confidence, mission participation, and income. Players with several affiliations can shift their efforts elsewhere 1754.
- Concealed leadership: Successors often hide their appearance, race, class, and Grand Authorities. Even small identifying details may enable hostile powers to track them 1680 2052.
- Territorial warfare: Temple quests can require players to expand faction territory. Qin Feng observes an Angel Clan force pushing Human Race defenders back across several star domains 1662.
Resources and Daily Life
Divine Source Star Sand
- Divinity growth: Players increase their divinity limit by absorbing and converting divinity from equipment through divine source star sand. Even players without Grand Authorities can theoretically continue accumulating divinity limit 1548 1694.
- Authority bonuses: Grand Authorities provide percentage bonuses to the divinity limit gained through equipment conversion, making them valuable beyond their direct abilities 1548.
- Temple funding: Successors draw substantial quantities of star sand from their temples. Mission activity and resource taxes therefore directly affect their ability to keep pace with rivals 1754 2032.
- Quest rewards: Heng Nian offered 10,000 grains for information about attribute-amplification conversion; Luóluó earned 60,000 grains by submitting six family members’ talent information 1742 1743.
Housing and Safe Zones
| Accommodation | Conditions and Use |
|---|---|
| Temple private spaces | Available through temples associated with a player’s Minor Authorities. They are a basic survival resource but can consume 30–50% of monster-hunting earnings 1952. |
| Long-term rentals | Prepaid private spaces remain reserved even when their owners disappear or die; temples do not assume that a long absence means death 1952. |
| Thirty-Second Heaven safe zones | Require immense wealth and a series of difficult challenges. Expanding them requires increasingly difficult challenges 1743. |
| Family residences within faction territory | Powerful organizations can allocate portions of their safe zones to members’ families, as the Offering Legion does for Luóluó’s household 1743. |
- Residential prestige: Owning an absolutely safe residence in the Thirty-Second Heaven is a major status symbol. Fewer than one in ten thousand players achieve the secure lifestyle described for Luóluó’s family 1743.
- Specialist services: Wealthy households employ temple-affiliated players for cleaning, gardening, decoration, and music 1743.
- Long development periods: Progress is commonly measured in years, and players may spend decades or centuries in seclusion 1754 1952.
- Isolation: Cat Who Doesn’t Eat Fish spends more than forty years without meeting another Blue Star compatriot, despite encountering players from the same broader Blueprint World 1718.
Highest Heaven Natives
- Birth and inheritance: Residents can reproduce, although powerful bodies make pregnancy extremely unlikely. Children inherit aspects of their parents’ talents, including their functions and enhanced grades 1742.
- Strong starting position: Natives benefit from powerful families and can be born with New God Tier, Moon God Tier, or higher talents 1742.
- Restricted opportunities: Many Grand Authority challenges are reserved for Blueprint World players. Judgment, for example, requires verification through Cycle Civilizations; a small number of other Grand Authorities remain obtainable by natives 1742 2039.
- Protected early leveling: After awakening, natives commonly level to 100 in guarded demon-breeding farms. Most require rescue by their guardians several times during this process 1764.
- Family priorities: Native families commonly favor stability and continuity over the risks taken by players who fought their way up from Blueprint Worlds 1744.
Power System and Combat
God-Tier Classifications
These tiers classify equipment, skills, and players’ overall strength; they are not simply character-level brackets 1306.
| Tier | Defining Standard |
|---|---|
| New God Tier | Acquisition of innate divinity and entry into the ranks of gods 1306. |
| Moon God Tier | Moon-destroying combat power, generally associated with damage above the 30th order 1306. |
| Sun God Tier | At least 40th-order damage. Players at this tier form the backbone of the temples 1306. |
| Domain God Tier | Damage above the 60th order, sufficient to destroy a star region containing a hundred billion stars. Fewer than one in a hundred million god-level players reach this tier 1306. |
| World God Tier | Creation of an internal divine realm, marking the distinction between lower and upper gods 1306. |
| Cosmic God Tier | An internal divine realm as vast as a universe; reaching this tier qualifies a being to advance toward the Primordial level 1306. |
Divine Source Barriers
- Innate protection: Highest Heaven players possess innate divinity and unlock a Divine Source Barrier. The barrier is part of the game’s underlying statistics, not a removable special effect or rule 1524.
- Multiplier restrictions: Attacks against a barrier can initially benefit from no more than 33 categories of Damage Increase Multipliers. Additional barrier layers reduce that number further 1524 1819.
- Layer examples: Blood-Secrecy Venerable’s group had at least seven layers, limiting attackers to 26 categories. Qin Feng’s eight layers limited attacks against him to 25 1599 1819.
- Changed progression priorities: Increasing the strength of individual multipliers becomes more important than simply accumulating additional multiplier categories 1524.
Divinity Influence
- Effect-versus-effect comparison: Divinity influence determines which power prevails when effects directly oppose one another. It is not universal immunity: a low-influence slowing effect can still affect a target whose much stronger protection only prevents damage 1713.
- Resource allocation: Players can bait opponents into spending divinity on less useful abilities, leaving insufficient divinity for their strongest skills 1678.
- Long-term development: Experienced players collect unusual effects and counters because no single defense reliably covers every special-effect category 1714.
- Empowerment Temples: Challenge structures found from the First Heaven onward allow players to empower their talents. Old-Day Tier and higher equipment and skills can also increase individual divinity influence through accumulation years 1861.
- Higher-region tools: From around the Tenth Heaven upward, temples offer increasingly unusual items derived from Grand Authorities. Abyss Gems, for example, allow entry into the Abyss Realm even during combat 1946.
