History

Ren Yu is a transmigrator recruited by Wadeline Yang for undercover work in 2015. He arrives at St. Freya Academy under an exaggerated official identity: a decorated Anti-Entropy veteran, prodigy, general, and psychology professor seeking to pass on his learning. Although he considers the résumé absurd, its claims are described as verifiable so long as his strength matches them. 1

He signs on at St. Freya as an assistant instructor and quickly establishes himself by killing a simulated Honkai Emperor in a single strike. His performance earns him a top simulated-combat ranking and exposes the reality behind his supposedly fabricated accomplishments. 2 9 10

Wadeline later assigns him the rank of Conservative Faction Executor. He becomes a key Anti-Entropy asset: protecting the Moonlight Throne project, recruiting personnel, negotiating with imprisoned Raiden Ryoma, and supporting research into quantumization, Herrscher Cores, and the Apocalypse Greatsword. 42 148 243 325

His activities expand into the Sea of Quantum and multiple World Bubbles. After rebuilding a World Bubble and being revered by its inhabitants, he gains emblems tied to life-energy, inheritance, and authority over the World Bubble’s population. 674 675

Ren Yu’s history is entangled with time displacement. Rita later reveals that a version of him met her in 2007, bestowed emblems upon her, and disappeared from history for eight years; Ren Yu himself cannot initially remember these events. 782 783
