Background / History

Yuping came from a mountain village, where she was close to an older girl. A man-made calamity destroyed the village and killed that girl; Yuping escaped with her life. Li Qingyue’s pure nature later reminded her of an acquaintance from this disaster, prompting her to offer protection and advice 23 30.

She knew that people with special physiques had been secretly killed, including a girl with the Taiyin Physique whose village was slaughtered. She associated these deaths with the approaching struggle of a great age. The force involved was so powerful that even her position as Tianxuan Saintess did not give her the confidence to investigate further 30 31.
