Neph helped Klein and others prepare for George III’s Apotheosis Ritual while pursuing her own investigations into the Primordial, Mr. Door, and Amon. After Klein entered the Forsaken Land of the Gods, Amon tried to steer him toward the True Creator, but Klein chose to pray instead.

• Neph investigated the City of Calamity and the Primordial God Almighty, helped expose Church of Storms personnel, and gave the City of Silver the Cross of Darkness before its team set out for the Giant King’s Court.
• Neph warned Klein about Mr. Door’s corruption and the dangers of the Miracle Invoker Characteristics, then helped him and Trissy plan to sabotage George III’s Apotheosis Ritual.
• Neph explained that she could alter history and break George III’s Anchors, gave Melissa a way to contact Klein, and changed George III’s prayer to invoke Winter’s End’s Empress as his ritual began.
• Neph blessed Colin Iliad’s advancement and escorted Klein into the Forsaken Land of the Gods, where Leonard reported that Melissa knew Klein had become Gehrman Sparrow but had forgotten his funeral.
• Neph warned the Evernight Goddess to prepare for Mr. Door’s return, while Klein sought a way to travel safely through the Forsaken Land and learned that Moon City still relied on Neph’s promised miracle.
• Neph confronted Amon, who said he was waiting for his father and questioned her plan to exchange his Fate with the Lord of the Mysteries.
• Amon joined Klein over grilled mushrooms and pointed him toward the True Creator, while Neph sent Klein a map marking the True Creator’s mountain.

Klein and Neph hunted Kotar, uncovered more about the apocalypse and the world’s origins, and began arranging for Moon City and the City of Silver to join forces. The arc left the City of Silver preparing to move while angels gathered above the battlefield and Alger accepted a chance to advance and fight.

• Klein navigated the Forsaken Land of the Gods, sought Kotar, and Neph began building alliances with Laila and Leomaster against Botis.
• Neph met Amon in the Jacob Family’s treasure vault, reclaimed Ais, and recognized that Amon’s deception had used both stolen powers and genuine feelings.
• Neph helped Klein approach the Abraham Family through Dorian Gray, while Klein met Moon City’s people and learned that the mist answered to the Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth for Blessings.
• Klein and Neph planned a trap for Kotar, and Neph helped Azik enter Salinger’s mausoleum, where he reclaimed his other half-soul and left to recover.
• Klein lured Kotar out by praying to Amon, then killed Kotar with a lightning strike while Neph seized the Miracle Invoker characteristic from Amon’s avatar.
• Klein and Neph explored Chernobyl, where Neph revealed the weakening barrier, the Outer Deities’ infiltration, and the need for a pillar’s power to resist the apocalypse.
• Neph aided Moon City’s High Priest Nim and the City of Silver’s Colin Iliad, promising help as the two communities prepared to leave the Forsaken Land of the Gods.
• Klein met Colin, Derrick, and Lovia to discuss taking in Moon City’s people, while Neph surveyed the battlefield and Alger accepted Jahn Kottman’s offer to advance and fight.

Neph guided Klein through the Giant King’s Court, helped the City of Silver and Moon City move toward safety, and confronted the legacy of her mother and the Ancient Sun God. As Klein pursued his advancement and tested a wish-granting machine, Neph investigated a mysterious mediation movement and returned to the Forsaken Land of the Gods, where she encountered two startling figures.

• Neph recovered memories of her family, accused Adam of tampering with her mother’s safeguard, and told Klein that Lilith had replaced Omebella with the Ancient Sun God’s help.
• Klein led an advance party from Moon City to the City of Silver, then guided the combined expedition into the Giant King’s Court as Neph watched and advised him.
• Klein opened the Giant King’s residence, confronted Sasrir and the awakening Primordial, and found the first Blasphemy Slate, and Neph stabilized Colin Iliad and promised to lead the people out.
• Neph presented the Slate to the True Creator, who named her the Ash Angel, while Klein completed his advancement ritual after the Forsaken Land of the Gods returned.
• Klein learned the Attendant of Mysteries ritual from the Seven Lights, while Neph discussed Adam’s schemes with Medici and challenged Audrey to reconsider the costs of war and Loen’s rule.
• Klein and Neph visited the graves of the Nighthawks and Welch McGovern, where Neph reflected on her lost childhood and urged Klein to remember his old connections.
• Klein built the Fully Automatic Wish Machine and granted Vera’s wishes, then worked with Neph to create Sir Majestic, and Neph suspected her mediation association was connected to the Uncertain Mist.
• After the Church investigated the machine, Neph returned to the Forsaken Land of the Gods, where she saw a robed figure with a cross and another figure hanging upside down on a giant cross, while Leonard began investigating Merlin Hermes.
