Ch. 42The broken Ventriloquist

Lynn and Harley defeated the Ventriloquist, gained money and a new quest to recruit three more members for the Bat Gang. As they flew to find recruits, they spotted Catwoman confronting Batman, and Lynn considered bringing Catwoman into the gang.

  • Lynn completed the side quest by making the Ventriloquist's personalities fight until he collapsed, earning Bullet Time and Harley's affection.
  • Harley kissed Lynn, then gathered the stolen money and supplies and planned to recruit more members for the Bat Gang.

Ch. 43Don't challenge Batman to a fight-it'll end badly

Lynn took Harley Quinn and Catwoman Selene from Batman, then persuaded Selene to join their planned jewelry heist instead of delivering the fear toxin formula to Penguin. At the Gotham Art Museum, they prepared to steal treasures during a jewelry exhibition, but Joker’s escape from Arkham Asylum interrupted them.

  • Batman challenged Lynn to a fight, but Lynn refused and flew away with Harley and Selene.
  • Selene admitted she had only used Harley to distract Batman and planned to deliver the stolen fear toxin formula to Penguin.

  • A jewelry theft alarm sounded, and Harley pulled Lynn toward the exit, where Commissioner Blake and armed officers blocked their way.
  • Commissioner Blake ordered Lynn and Harley to surrender, then fired and commanded his officers to shoot.
  • Harley took cover and returned fire while Lynn used Bullet Time to dodge bullets and hide behind a wall.

Ch. 45Looks Like I Really Do Have the Authority to Investigate Your Tax Avoidance

Lynn met with Deadshot, Floyd Lawton, hoping to recruit him into the Bat Gang. He used his IRS credentials and Floyd’s tax evasion—and his concern for his daughter, Zoe—to pressure him, leaving Floyd facing a choice.

  • Lynn revealed his IRS credentials and threatened consequences for Floyd’s tax evasion, then invoked Floyd’s daughter Zoe and her education to pressure him.

Ch. 46Remembering the Past...

Lynn forced Floyd Lawton to join the Bat Gang, then gathered the gang at its base to prepare to rob Joker and Riddler. Poison Ivy, Catwoman, and Floyd questioned whether the Justice League would oppose them, and Lynn claimed the Bat Gang counted as superheroes because they were robbing criminals.

  • Lynn threatened Floyd Lawton's daughter until Floyd agreed to join the Bat Gang and pay him three hundred thousand dollars.
  • Lynn checked Floyd's recruit panel, completed the recruitment quest, and received rewards after Harley Quinn also succeeded in recruiting someone.
  • A few days later, Lynn assembled Floyd, Harley Quinn, Selene, and Poison Ivy at Zeus Securities for the Bat Gang's mission to rob Joker and Riddler.
  • Lynn explained that story quests became available when an NPC's affinity reached a certain threshold.
  • When Poison Ivy, Selene, and Floyd worried that the Justice League might target them, Lynn argued that robbing supercriminals made the Bat Gang superheroes too.

Ch. 47Remembering the Days Gone By...

Lynn infiltrated the Joker and Riddler’s airship with Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Deadshot, calling his violent attack a perfect infiltration. The group split up, and Lynn’s team encountered Joker, who confronted Harley about her betrayal while Lynn settled in to watch their argument.

  • Lynn used the Dimensional Pocket to hide Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, and Poison Ivy, then flew onto the airship in his Iron Man Armor.
  • Lynn fought through armed gang members in the corridor, killing them before releasing the others from the pocket.

On the airship, Lynn confronted Joker and convinced him his gun had no bullets, then attacked him and sparked a fight between the Joker Gang and the Bat Gang. Harley, Catwoman, and Poison Ivy fought together against Joker’s armed henchmen.

  • Joker recognized Lynn, accused him of stealing his money and Harley, and aimed his gun at Lynn while his gang pointed machine guns at the Bat Gang.

  • Harley Quinn rushed to Riddler and demanded that he release Lynn, while Joker declared that Harley was disposable to him.
  • Riddler opened Lynn’s enclosure, but Lynn appeared in Red and Gold Armor holding Harley and aiming his Palm Cannon at Riddler.
