Background / History
Digimon Hunter
Saint became a Digimon Hunter during the year of his interrogation, seeking power and opportunities to fight. He served as one of Kurata’s three Digimon Hunters alongside Nanami and Ivan. His duties centered on enforcement rather than research, leaving him poorly informed about Kurata’s wider operation 20 24 29.
The hunters used Space-Time Shock Bombs to enter the Digital World and capture Digimon. Etemon identified Saint’s Thunderbirdmon form as the opponent whose victory had led to his capture, while Mo Si identified Saint and the hunters as her group’s abductors 20 23 24.
Defeat and Interrogation
Saint intervened in Mo Si’s battle with Bio-Quetzalmon, blocking a potentially fatal Holy Arrow with lightning. He then challenged Mo Si and overwhelmed DATS’s Gaogamon and Sunflowmon with Thunderstorm 20.
When Chirinmon overpowered him, Saint reverted to human form, causing the holy Digimon to hesitate. He tried to reach a manhole, but Mo Si blocked the route, caught his Digisoul-enhanced punch, and knocked him unconscious 22.
At DATS headquarters, Mo Si forced his cooperation by threatening his genitals with her high heel. Saint identified Kurata as his employer and confirmed that Kurata killed Digimon to harvest their life energy. He could not provide Kurata’s usual address: he had visited the implantation site only once, with subsequent meetings taking place in the Digital World 23 24 25.
Undercover Operation
Chirinmon’s Heart-Changing Wave altered Saint’s disposition after six hours of resistance. Newly devoted to the “path of the saints,” he readily accepted Captain Satsuma’s proposal to infiltrate Kurata’s operation. Satsuma and Kudamon staged his escape from DATS as BioThunderbirdmon 27.
Using the code name Crow, Saint communicated with Miki Kurosaki. Following Mo Si’s suggestion, he requested an Ultimate Digimon implant to draw Kurata out. He then pretended that fighting in the Digital World would soothe his anger, prompting Kurata to demonstrate a Space-Time Shock Bomb. A camera at Saint’s waist recorded the portal’s creation and transmitted the evidence to DATS 28 29.
Before DATS’s raid reached him, Kurata extracted Thunderbirdmon. The procedure also removed the spiritual energy sustaining Heart-Changing Wave. Saint recovered his original personality without losing his memories and exposed the undercover operation, allowing Kurata to relocate his resources within half an hour 30 31.
BioDarkdramon and Kurata’s Betrayal
Kurata rewarded Saint with Darkdramon’s power, and the pair fled to the Digital World. As BioDarkdramon, Saint overwhelmed and taunted Gryphonmon, but BanchoLeomon proved stronger in their confrontation. Saint struck BanchoLeomon while Kurata’s threats distracted Suguru Daimon 31 39 40.
Saint also passed on DATS’s findings about damage to the space-time barrier. Kurata used that knowledge to threaten a collision between the worlds and obstruct Suguru’s pursuit 40.
After fleeing Gallantmon, Saint demanded power sufficient to defeat the Royal Knight. Kurata promised further enhancement and brought him back to the human world. Instead, he extracted Darkdramon to strengthen Belphemon and locked Saint inside the Modification Capsule, retaining him only as a research subject 41 42.
Appearance
Saint’s human form is described as a blond thug with a sleazy air 22 31.
- BioThunderbirdmon: A giant blue bird with electricity intermittently dancing around its body 20.
- BioDarkdramon: An enormous iron dragon whose head armor has a green tint, distinguishing it from a normal Darkdramon’s transparent head armor 39.
Personality
Saint fights for the sake of fighting and uses unscrupulous means to win. His hunger for strength makes greater power a convincing lure, while humiliation fuels his desire for revenge against Kudamon and Angewomon. He also taunts defeated opponents, as shown when he belittles Gryphonmon 20 29 31 39.
His aggression gives way when he faces immediate personal danger. Mo Si’s threat during interrogation makes him apologize and cooperate; Kurata’s control over the capsule likewise silences him after his final outburst 23 42.
Heart-Changing Wave temporarily turns him into a cheerful, resolute advocate of justice, willing to die to atone for his crimes. This is an externally induced change, not a lasting conversion: removing Chirinmon’s spiritual energy restores his original disposition 27 28 29 30.
Abilities & Skills

Saint is one of only three subordinates under Kurata who can draw out their own Digisoul 29.
- Channels purple Digisoul around his fist to enhance a punch 22.

- Loses his augmented physique when his final Digimon implant is removed 42.

- Lightning: Intercepts and disperses Mo Si’s Holy Arrow 20.
- Thunderstorm: Paralyzes and knocks down Gaogamon and Sunflowmon 20.
- Resistance: Can ignore Etemon’s Demon's Kiss, which normally removes an opponent’s fighting spirit 20.

BioDarkdramon
Darkdramon’s implantation grants Saint an Ultimate-level cyborg form 39.
- Overwhelms Gryphonmon with punches and kicks 39.
- Uses a lance and Dark The Roar against BanchoLeomon 40.
- Limit: BanchoLeomon repels his lance, redirects Dark The Roar, and sends him flying with Shining Bancho Fist 40.
