Orpheus's discovery
Let me go!
"I want to treat him!"
The "Beast Tamer" fought back fiercely and nearly broke free from the "Pugilist's " control.
"Shut up if you don't want to see him die!" The Pugilist's gaze swept over his companion's pale face, and he wished he could slap the woman twice.
He hissed:
"The Third Mate is here, don't get in the way!"
The "Beast Tamer" woman paused for a moment, then suddenly raised her head, only to notice that her helpers had arrived, while the enemy from before had vanished.
She sniffed and looked at Lorry with pleading eyes:
"Please, you must save him."
"He did that to save me. I have money. If you can help him survive, I can give you all my savings once we get back to the ship."
"Dogshit... This guy's prestige is that high now? He's almost as big as the captain... And, can't you really see me...?" "Are you crazy?" Danitz turned around in astonishment. "If he pulls them out like this, he'll bleed to death in no time!"
"Stop talking nonsense, you won't die." Lorry frowned and glanced at him.
Danitz hesitated for a few seconds, then made up his mind, glanced back at the "Beast Tamer" lady, and asked her for a few bandages to stop the bleeding from his wounds.
Then, he looked down at his subordinate:
Hang in there.
"There might be a little..."
Before he could finish speaking, he suddenly reached out his right hand and swiftly pulled out the metal javelin that was deeply embedded in the other man's right chest, abdomen, and shoulder, then threw it aside.
Then, the bandage on the left hand was quickly applied, forcefully covering the gushing blood from the wound.
The "Folk of Rage" were bewildered for two seconds before letting out a sluggish roar of pain, their features contorted in pain, large beads of cold sweat instantly streaming down their foreheads.
Danitz chuckled.
"Distracting him will greatly reduce his Affliction."
Really? I didn't think so... Lorry looked the "Folk of Rage" up and down without looking up and asked, "Which hand does he have dominant?"
Danitz thought for a moment, and was just about to speak when the "Beast Tamer" behind him blurted out without hesitation, "Left hand."
Lorry nodded, pretending to reach into his pocket, but actually taking out the "Magician's" Beyonder Characteristic from another Dimension and holding them in his palm.
--It came from Klein's "All-Black Eye," and was the reward he received for helping to Stealing the Mental Pollution from the "True Creator."
Its Beyonder Characteristic allow for simple use even without being crafted into Mystical Item.
Lorry gripped the "Magician" attribute tightly in his left hand, imbuing it with Spirituality, while his right hand reached out to cover the wound on the "Folk of Rage's " abdomen.
Damage Transfer!
Then, without stopping, he quickly pressed his right hand against the other person's right chest and shoulder, repeating the same technique to transfer the injury to other parts of the body.
The groans of the "Folk of Rage" abruptly ceased.
He sprang to his feet, his eyes wide with astonishment as he stared at his bloodied and mangled right arm, which was almost completely numb.
He felt that his life, which had been almost completely lost, was rapidly returning.
"I... I don't have to die?" the "Folk of Rage" muttered to himself, his face blank. Danitz's pupils contracted sharply, and he suddenly felt that the scene before him was inexplicably familiar.
I remember now... that Lunatic Gehrman possesses a similar ability; he used it to save me back in Bayam...
Unexpectedly, Jodson also knew this skill. Was it a standard skill for the strong? Lost in thought, he heard Mia, the "Beast Tamer," sobbing with joy.
Immediately, he saw the other person walk quickly over, take out a small bundle he was carrying, take out several bottles and jars from it, pour out herbs, chew them carefully, and apply them to the wound on the "Folk of Rage's" right arm. He then carefully bandaged it with a brand-new bandage and revealed a bright smile.
He saw Griffin, the "Folk of Rage," stare at Mia's smile for a few seconds, then visibly swallow nervously.
Mia's expression froze for a moment, then quickly returned to her usual blank expression.
Then, she skillfully tied a knot, and as she did so, Griffin's expression Distortion, and he grimaced and cried out in pain.
Women... tsk tsk, the captain is so gentle... even if my learning efficiency is low, he will patiently explain it again and again...
It's surprising that Mia, that ice-cold woman, would actually have feelings for the rough-and-tumble Griffin...
Thinking this, Danitz saw the other two walk towards Orpheus, while his rough-around-the-edges subordinate Griffin leaned over and whispered:
"Boss, let me ask you something. When I was about to die, did that damned woman tell the Third Mate that she would use her own savings to save me?"
Not far away, Lorry noticed Mia, the "Beast Tamer," walking beside him, and his gaze sharpened. He inexplicably felt the surrounding Aura suddenly turn cold. "Don't you know that loose lips sink ships, little bro... And where's your brain? Beyonder have heightened senses, don't you know that?"
Besides, didn't anyone tell you not to offend doctors easily? He glanced sideways at his companion, whose face was as cold as ice, and silently mourned for someone for three seconds.
A few minutes later.
After treating his injuries, Orpheus glanced at Lorry with a complicated expression and began to explain in a low voice why his group had been ambushed:
Upon receiving the captain's message, Mia used her abilities to control insects as helpers and began attempting to explore underground.
"We were lucky; we soon discovered a strange insect deep inside."
"They exhibited certain peculiarities, making them impossible for Mia to control and difficult to communicate with, giving her a rather strange feeling."
"So, we wanted to contact the captain to confirm if this was the creature we were looking for, but we were attacked at night right after the ceremony..."
After saying that, he took a glass jar out of his pocket and handed it over.
