Chapters 452–479 Vol. 5 Read

Ch. 452The Elysium Faction, the Rule Blueprint

The Lord of Bliss reviewed the Elysium War Legion’s evolution, the Elysium Players System, and the rising costs of both projects before expanding the war’s reflection broadcasts. It then focused on linking its Jile Rule and Reflection Rule, unaware that a Higher-Dimensional Will was watching the Elysium Tribe and had turned its attention to the Death Spatial Scenario.

  • The Lord of Bliss observed the Purple Tide and Insect Tide fight the player army, unified their actions with a command, and reviewed the legion’s development through its fifth generation and planned sixth-generation hive network.
  • After learning that rising player participation had sharply increased war expenditure, the Lord of Bliss ordered reflection time extended by 30% and one additional advertisement every Elysium Hour.
  • The Lord of Bliss inspected Death Space and the Elysium Players Teams, whose successes generated energy by beguiling living beings while their deaths supplied data for future system improvements.
  • The Lord of Bliss defended Death Space’s harsh selection and the teams’ internal competition as ways to select capable players, recover resources, and expose weaknesses.
  • The Lord of Bliss considered linking the Jile Rule with the Reflection Rule to project illusions across space and transform the Elysium Tribe’s resource production.
  • A Higher-Dimensional Will observed the Lord of Bliss and the Elysium Tribe, then shifted its attention to the Death Spatial Scenario.

Ch. 453I'm a natural disaster. What's there to fear?

Yang Xiu struggled with the burden of leading the Life Soul Squad and the threat of Zhong Yue’s Mountain-Crushing Team. Remembering that he was a genuine player, he decided to seek Divine King’s help.

  • Yang Xiu reflected on how his teammates had become brothers to him and how Taunt had died protecting him, deepening his sense of responsibility for the squad.
  • Black Snake tried to comfort Yang Xiu, while he kept his feelings for her at a distance because he believed he would eventually return to the Real World.
  • Zhong Yue confronted Yang Xiu in the bar, threatened the Life Soul Squad’s third-place ranking, and displayed a Team Tracking Token to signal an impending hunt in Monster World.
  • After returning to his room, Yang Xiu realized he had been thinking like an Elysium Player instead of a genuine player and contacted Divine King for help.
  • Divine King replied that he did not recognize Yang Xiu and suggested they delete each other.

Ch. 454Unfortunately, you're going to be disappointed.

Yang Xiu led the Life Soul Squad into a staged retreat, drawing Zhong Yue and the Mountain-Crushing Team through repeated spatial jumps to the Rimewinter Snowfield, where Divine King’s Player Race forces were waiting in ambush. Zhong Yue’s pursuit ended in disaster, and Yang Xiu revealed that he had been working with the Players all along and would survive.

  • Yang Xiu led the Life Soul Squad from Death City to Crimson Tears and ordered them to prepare defenses while secretly arranging for the Player Race to help him.
  • Zhong Yue gathered nearly a thousand Mountain-Crushing Team members and attacked the Life Soul Squad, but Yang Xiu escaped with his squad using Sky-Piercing Talismans as Zhong Yue pursued with tracking talismans.
  • Yang Xiu used a preset spatial coordinate to lead both squads to the Rimewinter Snowfield, where Divine King’s Player Race forces surrounded the Mountain-Crushing Team.
  • The Player Race attacked and overwhelmed Zhong Yue’s squad, while Zhong Yue used Elysium Burning Runes to seize Yang Xiu and drag him toward him.
  • Yang Xiu survived Zhong Yue’s attack and spoke casually with a Player Race member, revealing that the Players had come to ambush the Mountain-Crushing Team and that he would not die.

Ch. 456Acting full of holes

Yang Xiu’s allies from the Divine Hall Sub-Warband wiped out the Mountain-Crushing Team while pretending to fight the Life Soul Squad, then withdrew with Yang Xiu. The Life Soul Squad mistook his disappearance for his death and collapsed in despair as the players carried him deeper into Snow Valley.

  • The Life Soul Squad charged the Player Race to save Yang Xiu, while the players pretended to hold them back without seriously hurting them.
  • The Divine Hall Sub-Warband slaughtered the Mountain-Crushing Team, and Yang Xiu’s old friend killed the gravely wounded Zhong Yue.
  • Yang Xiu decided to withdraw with the players and return to the Life Soul Squad later so he could conceal what had happened.
  • The players sped away with Yang Xiu, leaving the Life Soul Squad believing he was lost to them.
  • Black Snake pursued the retreating players until exhaustion overcame her, and the Life Soul Squad collapsed unconscious in the snow.

Ch. 457Warm Soup and Old Memories in Snow Valley, a Familiar Face beneath Elysium's Lights

Yang Xiu shared a meal with Wu Xing in Snow Valley and explained why he chose to stay with his Life Soul Squad rather than return to the Divine Hall Guild. Three days later, the squad mourned him in Death City until Yang Xiu appeared alive at Elysium Indulgence.

  • Wu Xing cooked Two Principles Soup and shared Sea Spirit Brew with Yang Xiu while urging him to return to the Divine Hall Guild.
  • Yang Xiu told Wu Xing that the bonds and experiences he shared with his Life Soul Squad mattered more to him than profit or strength.
  • Light Shield rallied the grieving Life Soul Squad, and the members vowed to keep the team going and grow strong enough to bring Yang Xiu back.
  • The Life Soul Squad went to Elysium Indulgence to hold a temporary farewell ceremony for Yang Xiu and found a black-cloaked figure in his usual seat.
  • The figure revealed himself as Yang Xiu, leaving the squad stunned as he greeted them.

Ch. 458An observer's perspective

Qi Sheng compared how the Elysium Tribe, Eclipse Race, and Spirit Breath Race had adapted their systems of leadership to survive and develop in Monster World. After Guide reminded him that the Origin Primordial Will was the constant behind civilization’s changes, Qi Sheng turned his attention to a new mode being refined at the Colorful Mist Coast.

  • Qi Sheng assessed A Le as a calculating but creative wise ruler whose leadership gave the Elysium Tribe resilience and the potential to surpass its limits.
  • Qi Sheng compared parliamentary rule with wise-ruler systems, concluding that decisive leadership better suited Monster World’s brutal conditions.
  • Qi Sheng considered how the Star Network served as the Eclipse Race’s enduring ruler, while A Le’s creativity let the Elysium Tribe explore unknown paths.
  • Qi Sheng reflected on how Soul King’s departure with the seven kings freed the Spirit Breath Race from internal power struggles and enabled Little Mage to lead without constraints.
  • Guide told Qi Sheng that the Origin Primordial Will was the constant behind civilizations’ changing forms, and Qi Sheng joked that Guide was flattering him.
  • Qi Sheng turned his attention to the Colorful Mist Coast, where a mode long anticipated by players on the Forum was being refined.

Ch. 459Poem of Scenery: A grand movement begins

Explorer developed Poem of Scenery to share Monster World's history through immersive text, scenery, and music, but struggled to find players willing to compose music for the vast project. With help from A Lan and the Gold Coin Chamber of Commerce, he recruited talented singers from several Alien Races and arrived on Dream Island to begin recording their sounds.

  • Explorer refined Poem of Scenery's location-based descriptions and explained how it would connect scenery with historical stories and player legends.
  • Explorer decided that music was essential to the plugin and realized he could use the voices and natural sounds of Monster World's Alien Races instead of relying on player musicians.
  • A Lan supported Explorer's plan, and the Gold Coin Chamber of Commerce arranged introductions with singers from several races.
  • Explorer traveled to Dream Island, where Sacrificial Power Snatcher introduced him to Xige, Yong, Elder Stonehammer, and Qing Xiu.
  • After meeting the prospective collaborators, Explorer lost his remaining doubts about the project, while livestream viewers celebrated Poem of Scenery's next stage.

Ch. 460The ingenious use of pressure, Soul-Imbuing Voice

Explorer discovered that the Pressure System could share the emotions in his memories with other races, allowing them to create music for the Poem of Scenery through shared feeling rather than verbal direction. After recording several new pieces, he considered expanding his pressure beyond cowardice, but livestream viewers questioned whether his idea would help him survive.

  • Explorer guided musicians of several races in composing music about a tree city, but found that words alone could not convey the emotions behind his memories.
  • Explorer realized he could use the Pressure System to transmit remembered emotions, and Guide explained that it could evoke feelings without creating tangible force.
  • Explorer shared his awe at seeing a Cloud Dragon; Xige, Yong, Elder Stonehammer, and the other musicians felt the emotion and turned it into music.
  • Explorer shared memories of a starry snowfield, an ancient crater lake, and a cavern of Energy Crystals, and the musicians created three distinct passages for the Poem of Scenery.
  • After the musicians left, Explorer decided to build a personal pressure system using emotions from his journeys, while livestream viewers joked that it might not help him against monsters.

Ch. 461Chaos in the Land of Chasing the Sun, mechanical assault

Qi Sheng observed the Explorer’s Poem of Scenery plugin and the Gold Coin Chamber of Commerce’s efforts to build a player foothold in the Land of Chasing the Sun. When Shi Zhan and other scouts destroyed Mechanical Legion collectors, the Legion launched a sweeping assault that began the first large-scale battle between the factions.

  • Qi Sheng recognized that the Explorer’s emotional approach to the Poem of Scenery could lead players toward developing their own rules.
  • A Lan used the Gold Coin Chamber of Commerce’s resources to grow the United Warband and pursue the Mechanical Legion’s and Virtual Runes Legion’s rules.
  • Shi Zhan discovered and destroyed a Wolf-Class Collector, sold its energy crystal, and sacrificed the remaining wreckage for resources.
  • The Mechanical Legion retaliated by sending Spatial Beacon Spears and waves of combat units against Shi Zhan and the other scouts, killing the scattered advance party.
  • The Mechanical Legion activated a broader cleansing protocol, raining beacon spears across the Land of Chasing the Sun and killing players throughout the region.

Ch. 463Steel Frenzy, Counterattack Overture

The Mechanical Legion invaded the Land of Chasing the Sun, and Yue Ying led the Gold Coin United Warband in a coordinated counterattack that met increasingly fierce resistance. As the battle intensified, players on the Forum organized a mass rally to join the fight.

  • The Mechanical Legion swept through the Land of Chasing the Sun, killing players and members of the Gold Coin Warband as Spatial Beacon Spears opened portals for its forces.
  • Yue Ying ordered surviving Gold Coin members to regroup, prepare enhancements, and launch a counterattack with coordinated waves of troops.
  • The warband used Blood Burn, mage bombardments, and the Field-Anchor Statue tactic to slow and destroy Mechanical Legion units, including Iron Soul combat units.
  • The Mechanical Legion adapted, sent reinforcements, and began targeting the warband's rear lines and slowing-domain players, pushing the battle toward a disadvantage for the Gold Coin United Warband.
  • Players on the Forum reacted angrily to the invasion and rallied others to fight the Mechanical Legion, forming a mass force headed toward the Land of Chasing the Sun.

Ch. 464Player migration, happy times

Players from across the maps migrated to the Land of Chasing the Sun and overwhelmed the Mechanical Legion with their chaotic counterattack. The Legion unleashed a much larger force that crushed the players’ advance, leaving them to keep fighting for sacrificial power as top guilds began regrouping.

  • Players across multiple maps answered calls to join the battle, and their arrival reversed the Mechanical Legion’s advance.
  • Players with varied builds attacked the Mechanical Legion, while a showboating Summoner Style player was killed by Iron Soul units.
  • The Mechanical Legion struggled to predict the players’ reckless, tireless behavior and was pushed back toward the Wailing Stone Forest.
  • The Legion opened enormous spatial rifts and sent Stomper units, Predator aircraft, a Support Hive, and a Silent Lord into the battle.
  • The new mechanical forces drove the battle into survival mode, and top guilds began reorganizing into United Warbands.

Ch. 465Starfall's Message: Buried History

After the players defeated the Mechanical Legion, Xie Yu investigated a strange Information Stone and learned how reconnaissance robot 734 had helped A Tu create a Martial Arts civilization before carrying its history into space. The chapter ended with Xie Yu discovering that the Mechanical Legion had later destroyed that world, leaving him holding the last record of its people.

  • The Mechanical Legion escalated its battlefield forces until the players suffered a total rout, and Xie Yu received an unusual Information Stone from Battlefield Scavenger.
  • Xie Yu paid Guide to decipher the stone and learned that 734 had crash-landed on the Earthshaking Continent 212 years earlier and met a boy named A Tu.
  • 734 tutored A Tu, helped him develop Energy Guidance Techniques, and guided him as he founded Martial Arts and became known as the Martial Ancestor.
  • After A Tu died, 734 created the Information Stone to preserve their story and the Martial Arts civilization, then departed to seek its origins.
  • The Mechanical Legion eventually recovered 734 and the Information Stone, destroyed the Martial Arts world with Mechanical God Descent, and left Xie Yu grieving over the record.

Ch. 466The Never-Sinking Ark of Memory

After discovering the history of 734 and A Tu in the Information Stone, Xie Yu reflected on how players and the Mechanical Legion erased civilizations without understanding their pasts. He decided to build a Civilization Museum to preserve their stories and leave the next generation an ark of memory.

  • Xie Yu kept the Information Stone after the Battlefield Scavenger watched its recording and gave it to him for free.
  • Xie Yu told the Battlefield Scavenger that the reconstructed 734 was only a weapon, while the stone preserved its soul and history.
  • Xie Yu reconsidered A Le's withdrawal from war, seeing it as wisdom gained from understanding how conflicts entangled civilizations in cycles of vengeance.
  • Xie Yu uploaded the Information Stone's story to the Forum in the name of the Research Enthusiasts.
  • Xie Yu resolved to build a Civilization Museum where players could learn about civilizations that had existed and understand the weight of their histories.

Ch. 467Something was wrong with this cultivation method!

While researching the Martial Minor World, Xie Yu attended his grandmother’s funeral and discovered that ordinary food and life in reality had become difficult for his weakened body. He tested the world’s basic Physical Tempering Method on himself and found that it produced measurable effects, leaving him stunned that the game’s cultivation technique worked in reality.

  • Xie Yu submitted a summary of the DAAAV-734 civilization to the Poem of Scenery database and continued organizing its history for the forum.
  • Xie Yu learned that his grandmother had died, attended her funeral, and planted a Memory Seed with his relatives before joining them for a family meal.
  • After eating braised pork, Xie Yu became violently ill, and a medical scan attributed his digestive problems to prolonged reliance on Game Pod nutrient solution.
  • Xie Yu decided to test the Martial Minor World’s Physical Tempering Method, using a physiotherapy device to help synchronize his muscles with the technique’s recorded frequency.
  • Xie Yu established the required muscle tremors and felt his qi and blood surge as his body absorbed energy from food, while the device recorded matching activity.

Ch. 468The blurred line between virtual and real

Xie Yu tested the Body Tempering Method from the Monster World and found that it rapidly improved his real-world body. Convinced that the method revealed deeper mysteries about the Monster World and the Star Network, he decided to report his findings to the Human Federation Supreme Intelligence Department.

  • Xie Yu ate five high-protein meals after cultivation, then tested his strength, stamina, jumping ability, and balance and found marked improvements.
  • Xie Yu trained over several days, gradually extending the muscle tremors to more of his body and learning to produce them with his mind; scans showed rising muscle density and falling body fat.
  • Xie Yu achieved a brief whole-body resonance, and his physique changed visibly, developing defined muscles and six-pack abs.
  • Xie Yu wondered whether the Monster World was more than a virtual game and considered why the Star Network had kept reality-altering technologies out of the Real World.
  • Xie Yu decided to compile his cultivation records, physical data, and findings about the Martial Minor World into a report for the Human Federation Supreme Intelligence Department.

Ch. 469The truth of reality?

Xie Yu spoke with Duan Hong of the Deep Space Observatory Department, who explained that the Star Network had already applied technologies from Monster World while secretly transforming Earth and testing future technologies. Duan Hong warned Xie Yu to stop practicing the Body Tempering method until its safety had been evaluated.

  • Xie Yu received a call from Duan Hong, who said the Deep Space Observatory Department had reviewed his report and had long studied technologies found in Monster World.
  • Duan Hong explained that the Star Network had quietly used technologies from Monster World's library to purify the ocean and restore marine life.
  • Duan Hong showed Xie Yu evidence of rising Spiritual Energy and alien Dust-Cleansing Seaweed, and said the Star Network was likely carrying out an Earth Transformation Plan.
  • Duan Hong said Monster World served as a testing ground for cross-dimensional technologies and that its fictional civilizations might be models for simulations.
  • Duan Hong advised Xie Yu to stop cultivating the Body Tempering method until it had undergone a safety review, and Xie Yu agreed.

Ch. 470The Apotheosis System, too many coincidences

Qi Sheng reviewed new Life Souls and planned the future Apotheosis System before noticing Xia Sheng exploring the Ember Wasteland. Xia Sheng survived another suspiciously convenient danger and continued onward, unaware that a shadowy figure had begun following him.

  • Qi Sheng reviewed the Beacon and Three Palaces Life Souls and outlined how players would use a Primary Life Soul and Star Ring System to advance toward the Demigod Realm.
  • After Guide sent feedback, Qi Sheng turned his attention to the Ember Wasteland, where Xia Sheng explored and chatted with his old friends from the Exploration Faction.
  • Xia Sheng discovered the Land of Unceasing Life, but a sudden sinkhole swallowed a beast that was about to attack him.
  • Xia Sheng recalled several recent coincidences that had saved him despite not having the Strong Fortune Life Soul, then continued exploring without understanding them.
  • A blurry figure appeared where Xia Sheng had stood and followed him into the shadows.

Ch. 471Courting Death to the Extreme!

Xia Sheng explored Monster World while Soulfire secretly protected him, hoping to learn about the race behind him and use its rule-bearing powers to revive the Soulfire Race. After Xia Sheng deliberately tested the unseen guardian by courting danger, he jumped into Groundsplit Gorge, forcing Soulfire to reveal itself.

  • Xia Sheng shared Spirit Food with his brothers through team trading mode while Soulfire watched his camp and planned to investigate his race.
  • Soulfire followed Xia Sheng as he explored recklessly and secretly saved him from dangers, including a Wraith awakened at a Sacrificial Altar.
  • After surviving several suspiciously fortunate accidents, Xia Sheng deliberately provoked hazards to test whether someone was protecting him, exhausting Soulfire's Soul Power.
  • At Groundsplit Gorge, Soulfire decided not to intervene when Xia Sheng assumed a jumping posture, but Xia Sheng leaped into the abyss without hesitation.
  • Soulfire revealed itself and shouted at Xia Sheng as he fell into the gorge.

Ch. 472This body? Take it!

Xia Sheng forced the mysterious soul flame protecting him to reveal itself, but its attempts to interrogate and possess him failed against his unusual body and defenses. The soul flame began building a Pseudo Spiritual Sea to control him indirectly, and Xia Sheng decided to let it operate his body as a free combat helper.

  • Xia Sheng jumped toward an abyss to draw out the hidden protector, and the soul flame rescued him before angrily beating him.
  • The soul flame tortured Xia Sheng and demanded information about his people, but his purification power rendered its methods ineffective and he refused to cooperate.
  • The soul flame attempted possession, discovered Xia Sheng's Spinal Star River of fused rules, and failed to break through its barrier.
  • The soul flame created a Pseudo Spiritual Sea and planned to connect it to the Spinal Star River to control Xia Sheng indirectly.
  • Xia Sheng consulted Guide and his brothers, then decided to let the soul flame control his body and fight for him while he collected the gains.

Ch. 473The Power Leveler's Struggle

Soulfire possessed Xia Sheng’s body and discovered that hunting made it grow stronger, then mastered five of its rule powers while leveling it for Xia Sheng and his friends. When the original rule stars vanished, a new system of power emerged in the spinal galaxy, leaving Soulfire hopeful about its future.

  • Soulfire took control of Xia Sheng’s body, learned to summon the Golden Axe, and killed a Rock-Armored Fang Beast, discovering that its death strengthened the body.
  • Soulfire hunted for three days, learned to use Swiftness, Gang Peak, Void-Piercing, and Spirit-Shaking alongside the Golden Axe, and slaughtered a herd of Split-Hoof Beasts.
  • Xia Sheng and his friends watched Soulfire’s hunting earn Sacrificial Power, celebrated the gains, and shared a red packet after Soulfire defeated Crystal-Horned Rhinos.
  • Soulfire suddenly weakened as the eight rule stars in Xia Sheng’s spinal galaxy disappeared, leaving it terrified that its new power had been lost.
  • New stars formed in the galaxy and established a different power system, filling Soulfire with stronger Mental Power and renewed hope.

Ch. 474How could the Soul Clan fail to flourish!

Soulfire used Xia Sheng’s body to hunt monsters and became convinced that it could adapt to its wishes. Xia Sheng and his companions exploited that belief to supply recovery potions, and the chapter ended with them realizing the power-leveling scheme could be replicated.

  • Soulfire livestreamed its rapid monster hunts, drawing attention from players who noticed flaws in its fighting and recovery habits.
  • Soulfire failed to access Xia Sheng’s hidden storage space, while Xia Sheng and his companions withheld potions to avoid arousing suspicion.
  • Guide advised Xia Sheng to provide potions when Soulfire wished to recover, and Xia Sheng paid 100,000 sacrificial power to monitor Soulfire’s thoughts.
  • When Soulfire wished it could recover faster, Xia Sheng produced a recovery potion, convincing Soulfire that its body could create things in response to its desires.
  • Soulfire hunted continuously with the potions, earning Xia Sheng sacrificial power and growing stronger while believing its Soul Clan’s future had brightened.
  • Xia Sheng and Miao Didi Three realized Soulfire’s power-leveling arrangement could become a reusable model, and Xia Sheng’s followers wanted power-levelers of their own.

Ch. 476The handover ceremony, founding a sect

Xia Sheng and his brothers devised a plan to use Soulfire and the Soul Clan as automated power-levelers, then let Soulfire possess seven Players and awaken seven of its clanspeople in their bodies. The chapter ended with the secret handover complete and the Players planning a safer, mutually beneficial system for Soul Clan members to borrow their bodies.

  • After realizing Soulfire needed more vessels for its sleeping clanspeople, Xia Sheng and his brothers planned to lure it into possessing seven Players.
  • Soulfire tracked a Player to a hidden valley, discovered six more pure-bodied Players there, and decided to seize all seven as vessels.
  • Soulfire divided its consciousness among the seven Players, summoned seven core clanspeople from the Soul Bead, and guided them into the Players' bodies.
  • The seven Soul Clan members awakened in their new bodies as the Players watched through livestreams and celebrated the completed handover.
  • Xia Sheng and his brothers developed the kindling plan, using Oath Space and Thorns Puppet to help Soul Clan members survive if their borrowed Player Bodies were destroyed.
  • Xia Sheng and his brothers envisioned an open partnership in which Players would lend their bodies for power-leveling while Soul Clan members gained safe vessels and room to rebuild.

Ch. 477Cards on the table: Soul Pacts go live

Xia Sheng revealed to Soulfire that he had always controlled the Player Bodies and proposed a partnership in which the Soul Clan would power-level players’ accounts. After the Soul Pact Plugin launched and drew a flood of participants, Xia Sheng urged Soulfire to revive more Clanspeople to meet demand.

  • Soulfire and seven Clanspeople hunted in the Land of Unrest while Soulfire resolved to keep the Soul Clan hidden and build its strength cautiously.
  • Xia Sheng told Soulfire that possession had never worked, explained how he had supported the Soul Clan, and proposed a partnership to hunt, gather, and fight using Players’ bodies.
  • Soulfire accepted the partnership, and five days later Nervous System announced Hunhuo Power-Leveling on the Player Forum, offering players three account-rental models.
  • The power-leveling post surged in popularity, so Xia Sheng asked Explorer for help creating a Plugin to manage registrations, earnings, and reputation.
  • Explorer connected Xia Sheng with a research-minded player, and they tested Soul Pact with transparent revenue splits, session records, and credit ratings for Players and Soul Clan members.
  • Soul Pact launched and power-leveling became a vacation mode for Players, prompting Xia Sheng to ask Soulfire to revive more Clanspeople.

Ch. 478Summit of the Stars Tournament

Qi Sheng launched the Player Faction’s first guild tournament, Summit of the Stars, using single-elimination battles to test guild tactics and reward the winners. The announcement mobilized major guilds across Monster World as they prepared to compete for the crown.

  • Qi Sheng approved the Soul Pact power-leveling system after Guide predicted its benefits would outweigh its drawbacks, then finalized plans for a single-elimination guild championship.
  • Qi Sheng announced Summit of the Stars, with guild teams competing in randomized BO1 battles at the Star Arena for honors, titles, and sacrificial power rewards.
  • The tournament announcement appeared as a massive arena rose from the ground in Emperor Tomb Village, prompting players to debate which guilds would win.
  • Divine King rallied the United Warband, whose leaders traded boasts before the group disbanded and Di Nian Bully withdrew his defenses.
  • Qingguang, Thunder Emperor, Cangqiong, and Giant Rock each rallied their guilds to prepare for the tournament, while the event stirred players and guilds across the Player Faction.

Ch. 479Real-world buzz, soaring popularity

The Summit of the Stars tournament drove a real-world media frenzy, soaring Trading House prices, and widespread guild mergers as more than 1.2 million warbands registered. Registration closed, random matchmaking began, and the competitors were teleported into independent battlefields for the first round.

  • Real-world news outlets reported the tournament's cross-race excitement, while economists explained how the spending surge and cash purchases drove up Sacrificial Power and Trading House prices.
  • Guilds merged to strengthen their rosters, and forum analysts ranked Divine Hall as the sole T0 favorite, with Drunken Feast Group and other Village Entrance Battlefield guilds among the T1 contenders.
  • The Gillfish Race and Abyssal Fish Race rallied behind the Tidal Legion, whose leader Kuanglang Sha registered amid celebrations across Fishing Harbor City.
  • The number of registered warbands passed 1.2 million, and the Challenger Prompt announced that registration had ended and random matchmaking was beginning.
  • The Star Arena sent more than a million warbands to independent battlefields, while other players gained access to the Spectator Function and the first-round BO1 matches began.
