"I think you should know that I can defeat you easily." Kevin waved a hand, sending an ice spike shooting toward T-X.

"Correct," T-X replied.

Calculating trajectory...

T-X instantly caught the incoming ice spike and snapped it in half. Then came a dense barrage of ice spikes. Two hands alone could never catch spikes packed densely enough to blot out half the sky.

Calculating trajectory... Simulating actions...

T-X was a machine, a Terminator made of Soul Steel and the Tenth Law-Ruler Core. In a sense, it was also a Divine Key. Countless small white-violet rings appeared before T-X, swallowing some of the ice spikes aimed at it before spitting them back at Kevin.

Then T-X rolled, slipping through gaps in the dense barrage of ice spikes.

"The Herrscher of the Void's power?" Kevin raised his hand again. A sheet of icy frost bloomed in his palm, forming a solid, heavy ice wall that intercepted the spikes fired from the rings. Ice shards scattered across the ground with a clattering sound.

Kevin dismissed the ice wall, kicked off the ground with his right foot, and launched himself into the air, diving toward T-X at high speed. It activated the Herrscher of the Void's power again. In an instant, T-X vanished from in front of Kevin and appeared above and to his right. But Kevin had anticipated it; his right fist shot straight at T-X's chin.

He had long seen through the fact that T-X was a Soul Steel machine, but he had never expected it to transform. The speed of its shapeshifting was astonishing. T-X's face rapidly caved in like ice cream touching a flame, causing Kevin's punch to hit nothing but air.
