Background / History

Sakura served in Fire Moth as a Fusion Warrior and previously worked for the Poisoned Cocoon, where she killed Honkai-infected individuals. She later views this work as a source of lasting guilt, believing that sacrificing others is murder rather than true sacrifice. 46 49

During the Eleventh Honkai outbreak, Dr. Mei orders Sakura and other Fusion Warriors to evacuate civilians rather than confront the Law-Ruler directly. Before departing, Sakura holds a pendant containing a photograph of her younger sister, Ling. 37

Following the Eleventh disaster, Sakura spends a brief period of peace with Ling. She takes her to an amusement park, wins a pocket watch at a shooting game, cooks for her, and leaves early the next morning to avoid a painful farewell; she promises they will visit a cherry-blossom plaza together. 45
