Everyone stepped onto it, and a flash of light brought them straight to the second floor. The moment they landed, familiar Teleportation Circles lit up beneath their feet.
This time, it did not even bother pretending. They landed straight in a teleportation trap.
"Again?"
Their expressions changed. This trick had really screwed them over before.
Eris instinctively tightened her grip on her sword, and Paul had already shifted one foot half a step to the side. This time, however, the circles had barely lit up before the magic Betty had cast on them beforehand suppressed them.
Dark light spread from beneath their feet, rejecting the Teleportation Circles' request for spatial transport.
"Phew..."
Taking the opportunity, everyone quickly moved off the circles and headed forward.
"The same move won't work twice on a Saint Seiya, you small fry!"
Rudeus smugly glanced back at the glowing circles behind them and left that taunt.
"You sound like such a bratty little minx, Rudeus!"
Radeus turned to address Rudeus in the group.
"Oh, screw you! Small fry, small fry!"
Rudeus pulled a face at Radeus up ahead.
Although none of the others knew what "bratty little minx" meant, they all felt it was nothing nice.
Seeing Rudeus in that classic, not-yet-disciplined bratty minx state made Radeus itch to pull out his whip and show him who was boss!
"And you still say you aren't one!"

For a while afterward, the group swiftly passed through the third and fourth floors with ease.
