Arc 10The War of the Shifting Sands

Dick helped unite Azeroth’s forces against the Qiraji, then entered Ahn'Qiraj to confront C'Thun. The Old God’s defeat shattered the Qiraji Empire, though Dick’s fate after calling on Norgannon remained unresolved.

  • Dick and his allies destroyed Ragnaros’s power, restored Thunderaan, and gathered support for the coming war.
  • The Alliance and Horde broke the Scarab Wall and began their assault on the Qiraji, while Dick led a strike team into Ahn'Qiraj.
  • Dick freed Ossirian from C'Thun’s control and took command of the Anubisath, then learned that C'Thun was gathering souls to escape its prison.
  • The allied forces entered the temple and divided their troops among its routes as Dick advanced toward C'Thun and the Twin Emperors.
  • Dick freed Arygos, Korialstrasz, and Merithra before C'Thun emerged, while Sylvanas, Vereesa, and Liadrin defeated Ouro.
  • C'Thun trapped Dick in an illusion, but he recognized it and woke before surrendering himself to save Liadrin, Moam, and Velinde.
  • Inside C'Thun, Dick attached Brann’s bomb to a Titan prison conduit, injured the Old God, and called on Norgannon as the acid stripped away his protection.
  • C'Thun died, weakening the Twin Emperors and scattering the Qiraji, while the allied forces defeated the remaining Qiraji lords and Huhuran.
Chapters 230–254 Vol. 3 Read

Ch. 230The end of the Dark Years (Part one)

Thaurissan guarded the Molten Core entrance while Dick and his companions battled Ragnaros, whose power and summoned armies threatened to overwhelm them. Naralex began gathering starlight for a decisive attack as Dick rallied the group to protect him.

  • Thaurissan ordered the Dark Iron Dwarves to stay out of the battle, then urged Angerforge to pray to the Pantheon and reclaim their former faith.
  • Dick and his companions found that Ragnaros’s golden flame shield resisted most of their attacks, while the Firelord summoned waves of fire elementals and Lava Giants.
  • Hamuul, O'mulon, and Naralex used their druid forms and powers to damage Ragnaros and hold back the surrounding magma and enemies.
  • Naralex asked the others to protect him for three minutes as he gathered starlight to unleash Starsurge.
  • Dick rallied his companions, and the group fought the incoming enemies around Naralex as he prepared his attack.

Ch. 231The end of the dark years (Part two)

Naralex’s Starsurge detonated Ragnaros’s mortal avatar, and the group survived the blast behind layered defenses. They concluded that Ragnaros had returned to the Firelands, but when Dick touched the Elemental Core, it began glowing again and Anveena urgently warned him to let go.

  • Ragnaros attacked Hamuul while Naralex prepared Starsurge, and Hamuul evaded the Firelord’s blow so Naralex could strike.
  • Naralex’s Starsurge pierced Ragnaros’s shield and caused his magma body to explode, while Dick warned the others and helped shield them from the blast.
  • After the explosion destroyed Ragnaros’s forces, the group emerged from the protective sanctuary and found the Elemental Core above the magma.
  • Jaina sensed that Ragnaros had returned to the Firelands, and Hamuul confirmed that the Core remained quiet after several minutes.
  • Dick touched the Core and told Liadrin that Ragnaros was plotting revenge, but the Core began glowing and Anveena warned him to let go.

Ch. 232Codename: Bronz'an-the world's true secrets!

Dick faced the Elemental Core’s hidden explosive trap, which would detonate when his Order Power ran out. With Thunderaan’s help, he unleashed his full power to destroy Ragnaros’s remaining influence, triggering a revelation about his identity and unlocking Titan-related access.

  • Hamuul sent everyone else away while he, Naralex, and Dick stayed with the unstable Elemental Core; Dick revealed that Ragnaros had rigged it to explode and that he could suppress it for only twenty minutes.
  • Thunderaan offered to retrieve the last fragment of his will from the core and disrupt Ragnaros’s power briefly, and Dick agreed to risk trusting him.
  • Hamuul and Naralex opened a Portal to a deep-sea trench, where Dick would use the water pressure to contain the explosion.
  • Dick entered the trench, released the core from his grip, and Thunderaan retrieved his will while briefly slowing its expansion.
  • Dick poured all his Order Power into the core, destroying Ragnaros’s remaining power, as the Fist of Tyr activated and identified him as King of Order Tyr, Dick Bronzan, unlocking Titan permissions and the Titans Path quest.

Ch. 233The Wind's Homecoming

Dick and the Archdruids ended the war against the Firelord, and Dick discovered treasures in the cooled Magma Core, including a flame that gave Anveena a physical form. After returning to Silithus with Jaina and the others, Dick reached the storm-shrouded valley, where the Windseeker asked him to restore him so he could meet someone waiting there.

  • Order Power consumed Ragnaros's remaining power, Dick survived the Magma Core's cooling, and Hamuul pulled him through a Portal from the depths of the sea.
  • Thaurissan hosted Dick and the Archdruids in Shadowforge City, where Dick broke open the obsidian sphere and found the Eye of Sulfuras and Flames of Sulfuras.
  • Anveena had Dick imbue the Fire of Justice with the Flames of Sulfuras, then appeared in physical form as a miniature High Elf.
  • Thaurissan assigned five thousand Dark Iron Warriors and Conjurers to Dick's command for the War of the Shifting Sands.
  • Dick returned to Silithus with Jaina, another veiled lady, and Anveena, and reached the storm-shrouded valley.
  • The Windseeker told Dick that someone was waiting for him in the valley and asked him to restore his form before they met.

Ch. 234Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker

Dick and his companions freed Thunderaan from the Blue Crystal Orb and restored him in a powerful storm, allowing him to reunite with Aishir. Thunderaan departed to challenge the rulers of Skywall and the Firelands, leaving Dick with a new storm-forged weapon and blessing.

  • Dick, Jaina, and Liadrin brought the Blue Crystal Orb, Vial of Rebirth, and elementium longsword together to restore Thunderaan.
  • Thunderaan emerged as a colossal Prince of Wind and dispersed the storm barrier around Crystal Vale.
  • Thunderaan reunited with Aishir, while she returned the Blue Crystal Shard to Dick.
  • Air Elementals and six Elemental Lords gathered as Thunderaan announced that the Four Winds Legion would attack the Firelands.
  • Thunderaan left Dick the Storm Longsword and blessed him as lightning struck the weapon.

Ch. 235Final preparations

As Theramore prepared to invade Dustwallow Marsh, Dick gathered the factions’ military observers and sought ways to counter the Qiraji threat. The Zandalari warned of the insects’ overwhelming ancient power, while Dick arranged for Sylvanas to study a powerful relic and asked the Explorers’ League to find ancient construct remains for testing.

  • Theramore mobilized its adult men and coordinated with an orc army as the Zandalari supplied potions that confused worker bugs and enabled soldiers to fight them more effectively.
  • Jin’rokh warned Princess Caliea and Gath’riss that the Zandalari could not use their ancient weapon against the Aqir, and recalled that nearly all of a three-million-strong troll army had perished in the final battle.
  • Dick gave Sylvanas the Ancient Petrified Leaf and urged her to uncover its secrets before the War of the Shifting Sands began.
  • Dick gave Whitemane the Eye of Divinity, and Mograine entrusted her to remain beside Princess Caliea while Isillien led the Scarlet Knights to war.
  • Dick asked Brann and Archdruid Naralex to help locate remains of Anubisath Kobolds and Obsidian Statues so he could investigate their weaknesses, and they agreed to retrieve them.

Ch. 236Hidden Path

The forces gathered in Silithus destroyed Hive'Zora, but Aqir scouts emerging through the Scarab Wall revealed that the threat was escalating. Dick confronted the Hidden Path outside the wall and learned that its members had come to oppose the darkness behind the war, leaving Immorel Shadowguard asking why he had come.

  • The Seventh Legion and Dwarf Mountaineer Corps destroyed Hive'Zora with a bombing attack, suffering over 2,000 dead and wounded.
  • Brann Bronzebeard reported that the Scarab Wall shook and three Qiraji Lashers attacked his excavation party before mysterious hooded figures saved him.
  • Lakes Claw identified the dead insect as a Qiraji Lasher, and Sylvanas recognized the bow-and-arrow emblem on the rescuers' cloaks as belonging to the Hidden Path.
  • Malfurion asked the commanders whether to wait for the Aqir or break open the Scarab Wall and lure them onto a prepared battlefield.
  • Dick fought three hooded figures near the wall until one called a halt, and Rexxar explained that the Hidden Path was guarding powerful fighters from the Old Gods' whispers.
  • Dick offered cooperation to Immorel Shadowguard, who invited him to explain why he had come.

Ch. 237The Scepter of the Shifting Sands and the Scarab Wall (Part One)

Dick joined the gathered leaders and armies at the Scarab Wall as they prepared to break the seal holding back the Qiraji. Anachronos entrusted him with the Scepter of the Shifting Sands, and Dick realized the desert itself had imprisoned the Qiraji in Silithus.

  • Archbishop Benedictus attended the Alliance gathering at the Scarab Wall while secretly worrying that the battle would expose him to C'Thun and anger his master, N'Zoth.
  • A force of 140,000 soldiers assembled in Silithus, with the Alliance and Horde positioned on opposing wings despite their distrust of one another.
  • Dick strode onto the Scarab Platform to break the seal, while Fandral Staghelm watched the Scarab Wall with cold, murderous intensity.
  • Anachronos appeared and gave Dick the Scepter of the Shifting Sands, which the dragons had reforged from its four pieces.
  • Dick sensed that the scepter connected to the Silithus Desert and realized that the desert, not just the Scarab Wall, had kept the Qiraji trapped there for a thousand years.

Ch. 238The Scepter of the Shifting Sands and the Scarab Wall (Part two)

Dick broke the Scarab Wall with the Scepter of the Shifting Sands after rallying the armies of Azeroth, and the Qiraji forces poured out to meet them. Dragons and demigods joined the battle, which ended with both sides charging into the renewed War of the Shifting Sands.

  • Dick delivered a speech urging the gathered races to unite and fight for Azeroth, then struck the Scarab Platform with the Scepter of the Shifting Sands.
  • The Scepter dissolved, the seal cracked, and the Scarab Wall collapsed to reveal a vast army of Qiraji, including General Rajaxx and the Anubisath.
  • Dragons and legendary demigods arrived as the soldiers cheered and prepared to fight.
  • Malfurion and Hamuul led the Guardian Druids in a charge, while the Alliance Forces assembled cavalry, infantry, and war machines and the mages and warlocks attacked the bugs.
  • Fandral Staghelm and the Feral Druids separated Rajaxx from his troops as the human heavy cavalry and the Qiraji charged, beginning the War of the Shifting Sands anew.

Ch. 239Hidden dragon, covert shadows

During the battle against the Aqir, Dick assembled a small strike team to slip past the front lines and enter Ahn'Qiraj, hoping to turn the losing fight around. The group reached a sleeping Kurinnaxx and prepared to attack.

  • Broxigar and Thrall destroyed an Anubisath giant, while Daelin and the other defenders fought to keep the Aqir from breaking the Alliance lines.
  • Dick gathered Broxigar, Rhonin, Vereesa Windrunner, Immoral Shadowguard, and Rexxar for a secret mission, and promised the raid would bring glory if they died.
  • Dick used his pendant to transport himself, Broxigar, and Rhonin away, while the three hunters concealed themselves with camouflage.
  • The strike team crossed into Ahn'Qiraj and found the remains of Night Elf warriors desecrated by the Aqir, angering Rhonin and Broxigar.
  • The group encountered a sleeping silithid called Kurinnaxx, and Dick raised his shield as they prepared to kill it.

Ch. 240The Strange Obsidian Guardian-Moam

Dick and his companions battled Moam, an unusual Obsidian Destroyer who absorbed magic and unleashed devastating explosions. After Moam fled and was captured, he offered to serve them, and Dick stopped Broxigar from killing him.

  • Broxigar and Windseeker killed Kurinnaxx, and Rhonin found a purple robe and a Qiraji Ritual Dagger in a chest beneath its corpse.
  • The group reached a reservoir where Moam ambushed them with an elemental explosion, which Immorel and Dick shielded them from.
  • Dick warned the others not to use magic against Moam after Rhonin's fireballs empowered the creature and triggered another explosion.
  • Broxigar, Rexxar, Immorel, and Vereesa attacked Moam physically while Dick and Rhonin defeated the elementals he summoned.
  • Moam tried to flee when his mane began glowing, but Dick struck him with a Hammer of Justice and the group cornered him.
  • Moam pleaded for his life and offered to guide the group to the Faceless One or the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj, so Dick stopped Broxigar from killing him.

Ch. 241The Trapped Escapee

Dick discovered that Moam was caught between order and chaos, and he was attacked by C'Thun before Anveena's silver flames freed him. The group reached the platform and confronted Ossirian the Unscarred, while Dick identified the crystal controlling the giant as their target.

  • Dick touched Moam and saw that the Obsidian Destroyer was a Half-Hero caught between the powers of order and chaos.
  • C'Thun attacked Dick's mind, but Anveena's silver flames drove the Old God back and burned Moam.
  • Dick told Rhonin, Vereesa, and Immorel that C'Thun remained trapped by the Titans' Seal as Moam led the group toward the platform.
  • Ossirian the Unscarred appeared, and Broxigar and Rexxar charged into battle against the blue Anubisath giant.
  • Dick identified the floating crystal as C'Thun's control nexus and ordered Rhonin, Immorel, and Vereesa to destroy it while he fought Ossirian.

Ch. 242The Unscarred (Part One)-Bonus chapter for the brother "Running Away in the Book"!

Dick fought Ossirian the Unscarred to weaken the crystal carrying C'Thun's chaotic power and free the Anubisath from its influence. After overcoming C'Thun's fear illusion, Dick cracked the crystal, but Ossirian's thrown sword struck toward him.

  • Dick and his allies battled Ossirian while the ranged fighters attacked the crystal, and Dick ran in to strike it himself.
  • C'Thun attacked Dick's mind with an illusion of Silverpine Forest, where black snakes overwhelmed him and his companions walked away.
  • Dick rejected C'Thun's despair, burned through the illusion with silver flames, and struck the crystal hard enough to leave a notch.
  • C'Thun roared for help, and Ossirian hurled his battered stone sword at Dick as he raised Naaru's Shield.

Ch. 243The Faceless One (Part Two)

Dick and his allies destroyed the crystal that let C'Thun control Ossirian, ending the battle in the Ruins Battlefield. Dick awakened Ossirian as a Titan jailer and claimed command of the Anubisath.

  • Ossirian overwhelmed Dick, Broxigar, and Rexxar while Rhonin directed Broxigar to attack the crystal and Rexxar joined Dick in fighting the giant.
  • Dick and Rexxar used the Thorn Hook to pull Ossirian off balance as Rexxar's beasts and hawk struck him, toppling the giant.
  • Moam absorbed Rhonin's magic and fired a scarlet beam that shattered the crystal, allowing Dick to destroy the released black mist with Holy Shock.
  • Dick struck Ossirian's golden mask off and revealed the warrior's scarred face after C'Thun's influence ended.
  • Dick used the Fist of Tyr to open Ossirian's chest and touch the dim crystal inside, awakening the Anubisath warrior.
  • Ossirian rose, knelt before Dick, and pledged to fight for him as Dick declared himself commander of the Anubisath.

Ch. 244The awakened weapons of the gods

As the Alliance neared victory against the Aqir, Brann revealed that Dick had entered the Anubisath mind network to take control of the obsidian giants. Dick succeeded, and the giants turned the battle around; Jaina declared that she loved Dick and rejected the throne, while Daelin reluctantly wished her happiness.

  • The Alliance and Aqir armies fought to a costly stalemate as commanders suffered heavy losses and the Aqir began to falter.
  • Fandral brought General Rajaxx’s head into the command tent, and Malfurion announced that the Aqir were close to defeat.
  • Brann explained that the Anubisath shared one mind and that Dick had gone to control them through their strongest member.
  • Matthew reported that at least thirty obsidian giants had emerged, and the commanders discovered they were fighting for the Alliance under a blue Anubisath Warrior with Dick riding on its shoulder.
  • Jaina told Daelin that she loved only magic and Dick and did not want the throne, and Daelin left after wishing her happiness.

Ch. 245Awakening Hero

Dick joined Anachronos and two Archdruids in infiltrating the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj to find the Dragon Princes trapped there. After Dick’s Order Power helped awaken Arygos, the Blue Dragon warned that C'Thun was about to break free.

  • Alliance stealth forces hunted the surviving Qiraji in the Ruins Battlefield while Dick, Anachronos, Malfurion, and Hamuul entered the temple unseen.
  • Prophet Skeram attacked Dick, but Anachronos trapped him in a Time Prison before the group continued inside.
  • Anachronos used dragon scales to call for his lost companions, and Dick experienced Arygos’s memories of his past and imprisonment by C'Thun.
  • Dick saw Deathwing helping C'Thun torture Arygos, then his Order Power interrupted the memory and helped restore Arygos’s clarity.
  • Arygos thanked Dick and warned that C'Thun was about to break free.

Ch. 246Bronz'an's special trial

Dick learned that Deathwing helped C'Thun sever its connection to the world, allowing the weakened Old God to prepare to escape and seek souls as nourishment. Anachronos told Dick that defeating C'Thun was his responsibility as a Guardian, and the Titans Path assigned him a trial to kill it and earn the Dragon Aspects' Army's recognition.

  • Arygos told Dick that Deathwing had helped C'Thun sever its connection to the world and had proposed using Arygos's body to reshape the Old God.
  • Arygos and Anachronos revealed that C'Thun planned to escape its prison and that the Aqir were waging war to gather souls for it.
  • Anachronos sent Dick and the others out of the temple through a Time Vortex, while C'Thun's returning consciousness failed to detect Prophet Skeram.
  • Anachronos warned Dick that the Dragon Aspects could not spare their strength and that Dick had to confront C'Thun as a Guardian.
  • The Titans Path activated a trial requiring Dick to kill C'Thun and earn the Dragon Aspects' Army's recognition, and Anachronos left him beneath the stars.
  • Dick cursed Norgannon, then accepted the challenge and vowed to sail the sea of stars.

Ch. 247The road to the abyss

Dick gathered the civilized world's fighters and mercenaries for the final assault on the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj, promising titles and rewards to those who brought back Aqir insignias. As the forces entered the temple, the passage was sealed behind them, trapping the mercenaries in a deadly battle against the Aqir and C'Thun.

  • The Alliance Forces cleared the road into the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj, while nations and factions sent elite combatants to join the assault.
  • The Cenarion Circle, the Hidden Path, and the Argent Dawn recruited mercenaries by offering rewards and recognition for Aqir materials.
  • Brann gave Dick a bomb capable of collapsing the underground tunnels, and Dick stored it in his Bag of Holding.
  • Dick promised knighthoods, noble titles, and other rewards to fighters who brought back Aqir insignias, stirring the mercenaries into a frenzy.
  • Ossirian carried Dick and Theramore's commanders into the temple, and the rest of the fighters followed.
  • The five damaged Obsidian giants and the Alliance soldiers sealed the passage, leaving the fighters to face the battle inside.

Ch. 248The war unfolded

The Alliance Forces split into three groups to fight through the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj, with Dick and the dragons heading for the Temple District and the Twin Emperors. The first battles exposed the Aqir's tactics: Duke Leoric was gravely wounded by Sartura, while Saurfang and Vol'jin recruited Siegecrafter Blackfuse to clear a massive swarm of workers.

  • Dick and Anachronos explained the temple's three routes, and the commanders divided their forces among the Larva Hive, Qiraji Defense Zone, and Temple District.
  • Dick's group defeated a wave of Qiraji Workers in the Central Hive after the soldiers slowed them with frost and burned them with fire oil.
  • Sartura ambushed Duke Leoric in the Larva Hive, dismembered soldiers, and severely wounded him before Mathias Shaw and Immorel killed the Qiraji Lord.
  • Brigadier General Matthew rallied the scattered troops, rewarded a mercenary with a promised Kul Tiras barony, and let groups advance into the Larva Hive while Leoric's forces camped.
  • Saurfang and Vol'jin summoned Siegecrafter Blackfuse to deal with the dense Qiraji swarm, and Blackfuse agreed to help in exchange for mining rights in Azshara.

Ch. 249The twins

Dick and the allied forces reached the Twin Emperors' temple, where C'Thun revealed itself and killed four soldiers through fear. As the battle against the emperors began, Anachronos sent Dick onward to confront the Old God while the others fought the Aqir and hunted Ouro.

  • Dick learned that the Goblins were using Engineering Bombs to clear Aqir, while Sylvanas and Vereesa returned after encountering Ouro, the Twin Emperors' burrowing pet.
  • Anachronos assigned Sylvanas and the ranged soldiers to hunt Ouro, ordered the rest to fight the Twin Emperors, and told Dick to face C'Thun.
  • The Twin Emperors emerged from the temple and taunted the allied forces, while Dick used order power to lift the soldiers' spirits.
  • C'Thun appeared above the temple and its fear killed four soldiers, whose souls Erigor's Soulstone absorbed.
  • Emperor Vek'lor summoned Aqir reinforcements as Anachronos transformed and charged Vek'nilash, while Dick fought his way toward C'Thun.

Ch. 250Ancient evil being

Dick fought through the Titan prison and freed Korialstrasz, Merithra, and Arygos from C'Thun's chaos barriers. C'Thun then broke out, and Dick faced the Old God as it launched a deadly attack against him.

  • Dick killed a Faceless One and advanced through the Titan passage, where the Fist of Tyr's order power dispelled the surrounding chaos.
  • Dick broke the barriers imprisoning Arygos, Korialstrasz, and Merithra, freeing the three dragon heroes.
  • Korialstrasz explained that the prison's Titan facilities could restore the strength of recognized guardians.
  • C'Thun broke free, and the dragons transported Dick to the hall where the Old God was emerging from its seal.
  • C'Thun sent its tentacles and a beam of black energy at Dick, whose order power made him its primary target.

Ch. 251The fall

Sylvanas, Vereesa, and Liadrin killed Ouro at the Twin Temples, but Liadrin collapsed after sensing that Dick was in danger. At the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj, C'Thun shifted into its second form and struck Dick, pulling him into a nightmare as the dragons rallied against the Old God.

  • Sylvanas trapped Ouro with Black Arrow, and Vereesa followed with Chimera Shots that wounded its eye and mouth.
  • Liadrin planted a sack of bombs in Ouro's mouth and detonated it, then finished the surviving bug with the Brotherhood's Sword.
  • After Liadrin fell, she told Sylvanas that Dick was in danger and that she had to go help him.
  • Arygos reflected C'Thun's Eye Beam, while Korialstrasz attacked and Merithra healed the dragons under Dick's protective order power.
  • C'Thun abandoned its first form and unleashed its chaos field, battering Dick and the dragons with its tentacles.
  • Dick struck C'Thun's largest eye with Holy Judgment, but the Old God's attack threw him down and dragged him into a spell; Lady Anveena smashed its eye as the dragons cried out.

Ch. 252Murderous Dream

Dick believed he was living a peaceful life in Theramore, but Liadrin, Velinde, and Moam each failed to break C’Thun’s dream control and wake him. As Princess Caliea offered him the lordship of Theramore, a faint warning stopped him from kneeling.

  • Dick woke beside Jaina and Liadrin, then left for his duties after Liadrin warned him that the scene was an illusion, but he did not understand her warning.
  • Liadrin vanished into black smoke and struggled against C’Thun’s misty restraints while Dick continued through Theramore, unaware that he was dreaming.
  • At the banquet, Dick approached Sylvanas, but Moam interrupted him with news that Princess Caliea planned to make him Lord of Theramore; Moam’s attempt to reach Dick also failed.
  • Princess Caliea asked Dick to pledge allegiance before the crest of the House of Menethil, and a faint voice warned him that kneeling would kill him.

Ch. 253Transcendence

Dick broke free of C'Thun’s double dream at the cost of Anveena’s apparent disappearance, then let himself be swallowed to save Liadrin, Moam, and Velinde. Inside C'Thun, he detonated Brann’s bomb and struck a Titan energy conduit, pleading with Norgannon as the gastric juice threatened to consume him.

  • Dick recognized Caliea and the others as C'Thun’s illusions and destroyed them, then pierced his own chest to wake from the dream.
  • Dick found Anveena gone, with only a golden feather left behind, and rejoined the battle against C'Thun.
  • When C'Thun presented Liadrin, Moam, and Velinde as captives, Dick surrendered and was swallowed to spare them.
  • Dick discovered Titan prison conduits inside C'Thun and attached Brann’s bomb to one of them.
  • The bomb injured C'Thun and exposed the conduits, while Dick, losing his protection to gastric acid, punched a damaged pipe and called on Norgannon for help.

Ch. 254Ancient terror and the end of the Qiraji Empire

Shaw, Immorel, and the soldiers defeated the Qiraji guarding the Larva Hive, while Rexxar, Vol'jin, and Saurfang killed Princess Huhuran. C'Thun's death broke the Qiraji Empire's hold over its forces, and the Twin Emperors crumbled as the Aqir fled.

  • Shaw and Immorel killed Princess Yauj and Lord Kri, then helped defeat the remaining Qiraji Lords in the Larva Hive.
  • Brigadier General Matthew killed Vem and ordered the soldiers to burn the eggs and claim their spoils.
  • C'Thun's wail shook the Hive, and Immorel realized that C'Thun had died.
  • Princess Huhuran fled when C'Thun's wail sounded, allowing Rexxar and Vol'jin to kill her as Saurfang recovered.
  • The Twin Emperors lost their strength when C'Thun died and crumbled before Anachronos, Jaina, and Rhonin.
  • The Aqir scattered after losing C'Thun and the Twin Emperors, marking the collapse of the Qiraji Empire.
