Arc 6Hyjal and the Argent Dawn

Dick helped defeat Archimonde at Mount Hyjal, then returned to a world where the Silver Hand was splitting apart and Med’an needed guidance. The arc left Dick, Meryl, and Med’an inside Karazhan while the Scythe of Elune drew the black knights’ ashes toward sleeping Velinde.

  • Dick retrieved the Skull of Gul’dan and gave it to Illidan, who absorbed its fel and defeated Tichondrius as mysterious warlocks failed to capture the skull.
  • Dick and his allies helped hold the defensive lines, enslaved Kaz’rogal, and joined the champions at Nordrassil, where Medivh cast Archimonde into the void and died after naming Dick his second apprentice.
  • After the battle, Dick sent troops to Theramore, advised Illidan about Draenor, and entrusted Maiev’s wounded Wardens to his care while she pursued Illidan.
  • Darion confronted Renault and brought the Argent Dawn to Light’s Hope Chapel, where Liadrin exposed Dathrohan as the dreadlord Balnazzar and the Silver Hand’s crisis erupted into open conflict.
  • Alexandros Mograine apologized to the Argent Dawn, divided Eastweald with them, and decided to establish the Scarlet Crusade after learning Balnazzar had corrupted the Silver Hand.
  • Dick found Med’an in Duskwood, arranged work for Abel Abercrombie, and told Med’an that Medivh had returned to his place of dreams, prompting Meryl Winterstorm to intervene when Med’an unleashed an Arcane Storm.
  • Meryl agreed to guide Dick and Med’an to Karazhan, while Garona decided Med’an should meet Aegwynn but kept her identity from him.
  • Dick found Velinde Starsong mortally wounded, used the Scythe of Elune to revive her as a Worgen, and explained that moonleaf could restore her original form.
  • Dick carried Velinde into Karazhan’s cellar, retrieved the Deadwind Harvester from three black knights, and entered the Wizard’s Tower with Meryl and Med’an as the knights’ ashes stirred toward Velinde’s scythe.
Chapters 126–151 Vol. 2 Read

Ch. 126Jaedenar

Dick and Illidan traveled to Jaedenar, where Lord Banehollow’s servant Uldan offered them a portal to the satyrs’ camp. After Illidan sensed enemies approaching, he stayed behind to hold them off while Dick went north to retrieve the Felwood Satyr Quest Container.

  • Dick explained to Illidan that the Lich King was using them to kill Tichondrius and prepare to break from the Burning Legion.
  • Dick and Illidan waited outside Jaedenar and met Uldan, an imp serving Lord Banehollow, who offered to help them reach the satyrs’ camp.
  • Uldan opened a portal and gave Dick a black bead that would let him contact Shadow Hold.
  • Illidan killed a dozen satyrs after they arrived and sensed the quest container to the north and a powerful enemy approaching from the south.
  • Illidan told Dick to retrieve the container within ten minutes, then faced the charging demons as Dick ran north with his holy fire-lit battle-axe.

Ch. 127The Skull of Gul'dan

Dick fought through Jadefire Run to find the Skull of Gul'dan, while Illidan held off Tichondrius and his demons below the ridge. Dick forced a warlock to reveal the Skull's location, and Illidan saw him arrive just as the final minute of his stand began.

  • Dick cut through the satyrs with Gorehowl, while Bloody Oak drained their life and left their bodies as dry bones.
  • Dick survived a warlock's ambush, seized him, and demanded to know where the Skull of Gul'dan was.
  • A lord-rank shivarra emerged from a portal, and Dick killed it with a single empowered strike.
  • The captured warlock told Dick that the Skull of Gul'dan was in a nearby house.
  • Illidan fought Tichondrius's demons alone and held out for ten minutes, then saw Dick appear on the ridge and heard him call, "Illidan! Catch!"

Ch. 128The true Demon Hunter

Dick gave the Skull of Gul'dan to Illidan during his battle with Tichondrius, and Illidan absorbed its fel to become a true Demon Hunter. As Illidan attacked Tichondrius, four mysterious figures tried to leave with the emptied skull, but Illidan's Moonblades destroyed their Portal.

  • Dick took the Skull of Gul'dan to the battlefield and threw it to Illidan, who was surrounded by demons and Tichondrius.
  • Illidan absorbed the skull's fel, unleashing a blast that burned the surrounding demons to ash and transformed him into a powerful demon.
  • Illidan launched himself at Tichondrius, while Dick hurried toward the distant fight.
  • Four mysterious figures appeared, took the emptied skull, and opened a Portal after declaring their Capture Plan had failed.
  • Illidan's Moonblades plunged into the Portal and destroyed it as Dick told the four figures they had taken the wrong thing.

Ch. 129Bad news for the Silver Hand

Liadrin woke safely in the First Defensive Line camp after Dick rescued her from Arthas. Dick confronted four Warlocks, identified their leaders and recruited them to enslave Demons, but Kanrethad warned that a powerful Demon had targeted the Silver Hand.

  • Jaina told Liadrin that Dick had carried her unconscious back to camp, and that she would recover after resting.
  • Dick questioned four Warlocks while the Wardens surrounded them and Maiev revealed they had killed the Warlock Walshas for crimes against Elves.
  • Kanrethad identified the group as members of an underground Warlock organization, and Dick recognized him, Wilfred, Rethsin, and Bijucca.
  • Kanrethad explained that the Warlocks had come to capture powerful Demons, and Dick ordered them to help enslave three Demons attacking the defensive line.
  • As Dick left, Kanrethad warned him that an extremely powerful Demon had set its sights on the Silver Hand.

Ch. 130Battle of Mount Hyjal-A demon's cunning

Ysera awakened Aviana at Mount Hyjal, reuniting the sky goddess with Tortolla, Agamaggan, and Goldrinn. Archimonde launched a surprise attack in the valley, wounding Ysera and Aviana and igniting the battle for Mount Hyjal.

  • Ysera used the World Tree's power to awaken Tortolla, Agamaggan, and Goldrinn, then spent seven days calling Aviana from the Emerald Dream.

Ch. 131Battle of Mount Hyjal-The Curtain Rises

Dick and the defenders fought off the Burning Legion’s assault at the First Defensive Line, where he and Jaina sealed a breach beside the priest camp. When the World Tree caught fire and Barnes reported that Archimonde had reached it, Dick took command and ordered the remaining elite fighters to gather for a desperate counterattack.

  • An enormous force of demons and undead attacked the First Defensive Line, and Dick’s troops joined 33,000 night elf sentinels and druids in holding them back.
  • Dick suspected the Legion’s disorganized assault concealed Archimonde’s infiltration of the Third Defensive Line.
  • When abominations broke through the wall beside the priest camp, Dick had Herod throw him into the breach, where he halted the demons.
  • Jaina unleashed a vast frost spell that sealed the breach with ice and impaled the demons pressing through it.
  • The World Tree burst into green flames, and Sentinel Commander Barnes reported that Archimonde had appeared beneath it.
  • Dick knocked Barnes down, asserted command, and ordered him to bring every able fighter of lord rank or above for a counterattack.

Ch. 132The Battle of Mount Hyjal-A Desperate Raid

With the First Defensive Line under siege and the World Tree burning, Dick organized a raid to capture the demons’ commander and disrupt their forces. As Delia Sera carried the raiders toward the Demon Sea, the defenders united in a vow to hold their ground.

  • Dick explained that a Doom Lord was directing the demons and planned a raid to give four warlocks time to enslave it.
  • Dick rejected a proposal to summon the green dragons, then ordered the eastern headquarters to send a thousand soldiers and evacuate wounded troops and priests.
  • Delia Sera volunteered to carry the raiding party, kissed Dick, and wished him well; Jaina and Liadrin embraced him as he promised to return.
  • Dick joined the prepared raiders, while Erigor sounded the horn and rallied the defenders to fight to the death and never retreat.

Ch. 133The Battle of Mount Hyjal-A Game for the Brave

Dick and his companions launched a desperate assault on Doom Lord Kaz'rogal after Lord Delia Sera sacrificed herself to carry them close to him. When Kaz'rogal resisted Kanrethad's attempt to bind him, Dick prepared a dangerous dive from the sky to strike the demon again.

  • Lord Delia Sera crashed onto the battlefield, then detonated her dragon heart to clear a path and send Dick and the others toward Kaz'rogal.
  • Dick and his allies ambushed Kaz'rogal, wounding his eye and leg before he countered with War Stomp and Cripple.
  • Dick blocked Kaz'rogal's Vicious Cleave, and his Retribution Aura injured the demon enough for Kanrethad to restrain him and begin the binding ritual.
  • Kanrethad could not overcome Kaz'rogal's resistance, so Dick asked Hild to carry him high above the battlefield.
  • Dick drank Holy Water, wrapped himself in Holy Fire, and plunged toward Kaz'rogal's head as Hild tried to catch him.

Ch. 134The Battle of Mount Hyjal-Rally, advance, decisive battle!

Dick helped defeat and enslave Kaz'rogal, then joined the surviving champions as they prepared to face Archimonde at the final battlefield. With the Horde's reinforcements arriving and the Green Dragon Horns ready, Jarod led the group toward the decisive battle.

  • Dick plunged from the sky and struck Kaz'rogal with his war axe, leaving the Doom Lord weakened but alive.
  • Maiev caught the exhausted Dick, and Kanrethad enslaved Kaz'rogal as the surrounding demons fell into chaos.
  • Kanrethad and the other warlocks led Dick and the survivors through the demon ranks, which parted before them.
  • Jaina, Thrall, Varok, Vol'jin, Cairne Bloodhoof, Rexxar, and other reinforcements arrived on wyverns and joined the survivors.
  • Cairne and Dick exchanged pledges of friendship, while Jarod warned them of Archimonde's strength and the strange demon army.
  • Dick and Thrall revealed that they had saved their Green Dragon Horns, and Jarod led the champions toward the final battlefield.

Ch. 135The Battle of Mount Hyjal-War of the Dragons

Dick and his allies joined the Battle of Mount Hyjal, summoning the Emerald and Bronze Dragonflights to help the Night Elves reclaim the skies. With Archimonde still threatening Nordrassil and the Demigods struggling to hold him back, Dick followed Jarod toward Malfurion.

  • Dick and Jarod surveyed the battle at the roots of Nordrassil, where Tyrande and Malfurion fought a Lich, Illidan and Tortolla faced a Pit Lord, and the Demigods battled Archimonde.
  • Jarod explained that the Night Elves had lost control of the skies and that Malfurion could use the World Tree as a last resort, though its power had been weakened.
  • Dick, Thrall, and Jarod sounded their Dragonbone Horns, while Dick crushed a golden hourglass to summon the Emerald Dragonflight and Bronze Dragon recruits.
  • The Bronze Dragons attacked the Frost Wyrms and used their time powers to match the enemy numbers, then the Emerald Dragons joined them and cleared the skies for the Elves.
  • With Archimonde still pressing the Demigods and Nordrassil in danger, Jarod led Dick and the other champions toward Malfurion.

Ch. 136The Battle of Mount Hyjal-The Defiler

  • Malfurion and the combined Alliance forces overwhelmed Lethas Frostwhisper, and Rexxar and Cairne cut off the Lich's head.
  • Wilfred accepted Lethas Frostwhisper's skull from Jaina, while the others hurried toward Illidan's battlefield.
  • Azgalor drove Cairne back and unleashed fel lava that forced the heroes away from him.
  • Archimonde turned from Goldrinn and fired Finger of Death at Tyrande, while Illidan transformed and rushed to save her but arrived too late.
  • Dick emerged from Archimonde's shadow and stood between Tyrande and the attack, prompting Jaina to cry out his name.

Ch. 137Battle of Mount Hyjal-Fury

Dick survived Archimonde’s Finger of Death with aid from Tyrande and Uther, then Eye for an Eye manifested as a giant of Holy Light and struck Archimonde. Malfurion released the World Tree’s stored power, denying Archimonde the power he sought and driving him to decide to destroy the planet.

  • Dick used Ysera’s Gift and the silver card to withstand Archimonde’s Finger of Death, while Tyrande lent him the Moon Goddess’s power.
  • The Bloody Oak threatened to drain Tyrande, but she escaped, and Uther arrived and shielded Dick with a Spirit Realm Shield.
  • Eye for an Eye summoned a Giant of Light, who returned the force of Archimonde’s two Fingers of Death and pierced him with a Holy Sword.
  • Malfurion sounded the horn and released the World Tree’s stored power as Jarod tried to make him wait.
  • Archimonde lost the power he had sought and resolved to carry out Sargeras’s command by destroying the planet.

Ch. 138The Battle of Mount Hyjal-A hymn on the wind

Medivh banished Archimonde into the void with Aessina’s wisps, sacrificing his life to save the battlefield. Before dying, he gave Dick a key to Karazhan, entrusted Med’an to him, and named him his second apprentice, leaving Dick to mourn as dawn broke over Mount Hyjal.

  • Medivh explained how Dick’s actions had saved Stratholme, Quel’Thalas, Dalaran, and the demigods, then promised to handle Archimonde himself.
  • Medivh called on Aessina, whose wisps surrounded Archimonde as Medivh bound him with magic.
  • Medivh opened a spatial rift and hurled Archimonde into the void along with the wisps’ explosive energy.
  • Medivh began to burn with spectral blue flames, gave Dick a black key, asked him to help Med’an, and named him his second apprentice.
  • Dick held Medivh’s burning flower and sang a hymn as Jaina, Thrall, the warriors, and the demigods honored the fallen guardian.
  • The first sunlight reached Mount Hyjal, and the flower at Dick’s collar shone as a new era began.

Ch. 139The Battle of Mount Hyjal-Failure?

The World Tree’s explosion failed to kill Archimonde, leaving the demigods and defenders battered as the demon resumed its assault. As Dick despaired over his failed plan, Medivh appeared and revealed that he had watched Dick since his rebirth.

  • Archimonde used Finger of Death against Dick, but Nozdormu slowed time and warned him that history was fighting back.
  • The World Tree exploded, but Archimonde survived with severe injuries and continued attacking the weakened demigods while demons poured through portals.
  • Tyrande’s attempt to call on the Moon Goddess failed, and Dick watched the battered defenders lose ground as the third defensive line collapsed.
  • Dick tried to approach Archimonde, then fell to his knees and wondered whether he had been wrong.
  • Medivh appeared before Dick and showed him a raven watching him in Silverpine Forest after his rebirth, revealing that he had known about Dick for a long time.

Ch. 140The Battle of Mount Hyjal: The hymn rang out

Medivh banished Archimonde into the void with Aessina’s wisps, sacrificing himself to save Mount Hyjal. As Dick mourned him and received his blessing, the survivors honored Medivh and a new era began.

  • Medivh told Dick how he had tried to warn others and praised Dick for saving lives and changing the war’s course.
  • Medivh dismissed Nozdormu’s belief that Archimonde could only be defeated by following history and said he would handle the rest.
  • Medivh summoned Aessina and her wisps, then used magic to cast Archimonde through a spatial rift into the void.
  • Medivh began to burn and gave Dick a key to Karazhan, asked him to help Med’an, and named him his second apprentice before dying.
  • Dick held Medivh’s blue flame flower and sang a hymn as Jaina, Thrall, the soldiers, and the demigods paid their respects.
  • Sunlight reached Mount Hyjal, and the flower at Dick’s collar shone as a new era began.

Ch. 141Final Volume: The Promise

After the war, Dick arranged for the remaining Demons in Kalimdor to be hunted and met Illidan, who planned to infiltrate the Demons. Maiev left her wounded Wardens in Dick’s care before pursuing Illidan, while Dick looked ahead to the unresolved troubles in the Eastern Kingdoms.

  • Dick sent Erigor back to Theramore with half the army and hired Warlocks and mercenaries to hunt Demons in Ashenvale.
  • Illidan told Dick he planned to travel the world and find a way to counter the Demons, then accepted Dick’s advice about the Sargerite Keystone and Draenor before leaving.
  • Maiev arrived looking for Illidan, and Dick persuaded her to entrust her wounded Wardens to him.
  • Maiev gave Dick an Owl Pendant and agreed that the Wardens could help train a scout force, then left to pursue Illidan.
  • Dick warned Maiev that Illidan intended to infiltrate the Demons and that the Wardens should avoid being picked off, but she insisted her mission was to capture him.

Ch. 142A minor clash

Darion returned to Light's Hope Chapel and confronted Berryman for insulting the Argent Dawn and the Fire of Justice. He expelled Berryman from the Mograine ranks, leaving the mercenaries stunned by his return and authority.

  • The Silver Hand's mercenary business expanded across West Darrowmere and the Ghostlands, while its authorized hunters and the Stratholme Regiment's recruits competed for territory.
  • Mercenaries at the Sacred Sword Tavern debated rumors about the First Expeditionary Force, and Berryman boasted that he served Renault and mocked the Fire of Justice.
  • Darion entered the tavern with armed companions and held his Blood-Red Greatsword to Berryman's neck.
  • Darion identified himself as a senior Silver Hand member, captain of the Argent Dawn's Second Knight Detachment, Baron of Theramore, and Mograine's second son.
  • Darion ordered Berryman expelled from the Mograine ranks, had his dog tag removed, and warned him to watch his mouth.

Ch. 143A minor dispute

Darion Mograine returned to the Northern Frontier, beat his brother Renault, and brought him before a meeting of the Order of the Silver Hand. His arrival interrupted plans to form the Scarlet Crusade, leaving Alexandros to face his estranged son and Liadrin.

  • Darion humiliated Berryman at the Sacred Sword Tavern, then urged the tavern owner, Uncle Juer Mo, to leave for Theramore.
  • Renault surrounded Darion and the Argent Dawn with black-armored auxiliaries and demanded that Darion serve him, but Darion punched him down and rejected his offer.
  • Darion's knights sounded their dragon-bone horns as the auxiliaries drew weapons, prompting Alexandros to send Fairbanks to investigate during the meeting at Light's Hope Chapel.
  • Alexandros secured approval to establish a separate order for commoner paladins and began discussing the Scarlet Crusade with the assembled commanders.
  • Darion entered the chapel with Liadrin, High Knight Erigor, and three hundred knights, threw Renault onto the floor, and greeted Alexandros as his father.

Ch. 144Big trouble

At Light's Hope Chapel, Liadrin and the Argent Dawn confronted Alexandros Mograine's Silver Hand over the planned Scarlet Crusade, threatening to declare it illegal and warning that it would split the order. As war broke out, dragons and Wardens surrounded the chapel, and Liadrin revealed that the Argent Dawn had come to root out corruption within the Silver Hand.

  • Alexandros Mograine demanded to know where Dick was, and Liadrin and Darion explained the Argent Dawn's ranks and its loyalty to Princess Caliea.
  • General Abbendis insulted Darion and the Argent Dawn, so Maiev appeared from his shadow and warned the Silver Hand not to question the Kaldorei's account of Mount Hyjal.
  • Liadrin declared that the Argent Dawn opposed the Scarlet Crusade and could place Stratholme and its recruits under Princess Caliea's jurisdiction; Erigor and Herod warned that proceeding would mean a war of faith.
  • Alexandros challenged the Argent Dawn, and Liadrin signaled the start of war as eight dragons tore through the chapel roof and Wardens surrounded the Silver Hand leaders.
  • Darion tried to take Whitemane away to Theramore, but she refused to abandon Alexandros; Darion told her the Silver Hand's problems ran deeper than she realized.
  • Liadrin identified the gnome warlock Wilfred as an expert in dealing with demons and said the Argent Dawn had come to confront corruption within the Silver Hand.

Ch. 145Corruption

The Argent Dawn exposed Balnazzar’s disguise as Grand Knight Dathrohan, but his scheme triggered attacks across Lordaeron and left the Silver Hand’s defenses in crisis. Alexandros Mograine acknowledged the corruption within his order, yet kept the Argent Dawn outside much of its territory and resolved to establish the Scarlet Crusade himself.

  • Alexandros Mograine attacked Wilfred as Dathrohan urged the Silver Hand to fight the Argent Dawn, and Dathrohan’s signal flare brought the confrontation to the brink of battle.
  • Whitemane intervened to stop the sides from clashing, while Duane, Abbendis, and Taelan tried to restrain the increasingly confused Mograine.
  • Liadrin ordered Wilfred to strike Dathrohan, and the attack revealed that he was the dreadlord Balnazzar, who escaped as a swarm of bats.
  • Abbendis sent the paladins to Crusader’s Hold as reports arrived of undead assaults at Crusader’s Hold, Chillwind Camp, and the Hillsbrad Foothills; Tirion Fordring was also reported severely wounded.
  • Mograine apologized to Liadrin and the Argent Dawn, then divided Eastweald while reserving Stratholme and the Ghostlands for them.
  • After the Argent Dawn left, Mograine told Fairbanks that Balnazzar had corrupted the Silver Hand and decided to establish the Scarlet Crusade himself.

Ch. 146A visitor in the dark

Dick traveled through Duskwood toward Raven Hill Cemetery to find Med'an, a child he had promised to seek out. He arrived at the Abercrombie home just as Med'an was preparing to leave, and recognized the child.

  • Dick received a green crystal after completing the “Corrupted Root” and entered Duskwood, where he headed north for Raven Hill Cemetery.
  • Dick and Anveena joked as they walked through the dark forest, while a half-human, half-wolf creature followed his trail.
  • At Raven Hill Cemetery, Med'an visited Abel Abercrombie and gave him medicinal liquor for Eliza.
  • Eliza sent Med'an home with boiled eggs, but someone knocked before he could leave.
  • Abel opened the door to Dick, who asked about Med'an and recognized him by his eyes.

Ch. 147The hermit of Raven Hill

Dick visited Abel and Eliza to check on Med'an, gave Abel a chance to leave dangerous Duskwood for work in Theramore, and took Med'an into the wilderness. When Med'an rejected his father Medivh and attacked Dick with magic, Dick subdued him and confronted the undead Mage Meryl Winterstorm.

  • Abel mistook Dick for an intruder, then recognized his Paladin badge and let him into the house.
  • Dick gave Abel a sealed letter offering him work in Theramore, and Abel accepted after Med'an urged him to leave Duskwood with Eliza.
  • Dick led Med'an away and explained that he had helped Abel because of his talent as an Apothecary.
  • Med'an demanded to know where his father was, and Dick told him Medivh had returned to his place of dreams and that the Blue Flame Rose was his final gift.
  • Med'an rejected Medivh and unleashed an Arcane Storm, but Dick seized him and suppressed his magic with Holy Light.
  • Meryl Winterstorm appeared from Darkwood and ordered Dick to put Med'an down, and Dick identified the undead Mage and challenged his influence over the boy.

Ch. 148The battle in the forest

Dick met Meryl Winterstorm and asked him to guide him into Karazhan and take Med'an to meet Aegwynn in Theramore. As they set out, Dick sensed a battle near a farm in Duskwood and went to investigate, while Garona revealed she planned to leave after the trip without telling Med'an she was his mother.

  • Meryl agreed to guide Dick through Karazhan and, afterward, take Med'an to Theramore to meet Aegwynn if she was there.
  • Meryl shrank his two houses with magic, and the group departed for Karazhan on his flying carpet.
  • Meryl warned Dick that Karazhan was alive, lay beside a cosmic rift, and had been leaking stronger dark magic into Duskwood.
  • Dick sensed a dark aura near a farm, drew Gorehowl, and ran toward a battle; Meryl encouraged Med'an to follow him and witness real combat.
  • Garona appeared to Meryl and agreed that Med'an should meet Aegwynn, but said she would leave after Karazhan without revealing herself to her son.

Ch. 149Scythe of Elune

Dick and Med'an found Velinde Starsong dying in a mine after Worgen attacked her, and Dick recognized the Scythe of Elune she carried. He used the scythe to revive her as a Worgen, leaving Velinde furious but alive and bound to the artifact.

  • Dick and Med'an entered the mine and found four Worgen attacking the mortally wounded Velinde Starsong.
  • Dick killed the Worgen while Med'an fought one, then tried to heal Velinde but could not save her.
  • Dick recognized the Scythe of Elune and chose to convert the dying Velinde into a Follower by thrusting the scythe into her heart.
  • The scythe revived Velinde as a Worgen, and she cursed Dick for transforming her.
  • Dick explained that moonleaf could restore Velinde's original form, and the Scythe of Elune revealed its Goldrinn's Envoy form as she became its wielder.

Ch. 151The Black Knights of Deadwind Pass

Meryl Winterstorm brought Dick, Med'an, and the unconscious Velinde to Karazhan, where Dick entered the cellar and fought three black knights to claim the Deadwind Harvester. The group entered the Wizard’s Tower, leaving Velinde outside, while the black knights began to revive and pursue the Scythe of Elune she carried.

  • Meryl warned the party about Medivh’s Mind Tricks magic circle in Deadwind Pass, and Dick subdued Velinde after she panicked and tried to flee.
  • At Karazhan, Meryl explained that the ghosts in the abandoned town would not harm people connected to the tower, but Velinde could not enter without Medivh’s permission.
  • Dick carried Velinde to the cellar, hid her in a haystack, and fought three black knights to retrieve the Deadwind Harvester.
  • Dick returned wounded and gave Meryl the cellar key, then followed Meryl and Med’an into the Wizard’s Tower.
  • After the group sealed the entrance, the black knights’ ashes began stirring, drawn to the Scythe of Elune Velinde carried while she slept.
