Ch. 376God

Gary built a vast following by performing miracles in Salt Lake City, while R'hllor fled to New York City and confronted Nawija in an attempt to reclaim her divine power. The two goddesses began a covert clash as Gary continued gaining strength elsewhere.

  • R'hllor abandoned her physical body, possessed a truck driver, and fled east.
  • Gary healed numerous people on live television, drawing followers whose faith strengthened him beyond his previous power.

  • R'hllor and Nawija faced off beside the lake, whose water froze and boiled during their covert contest.

Ch. 377The passing of the light

Gary stopped R'hllor from absorbing Nawija, killed her, and helped Nawija recover before opening a rift to Westeros. He left Nawija in charge of his religion and family while he traveled back to Westeros.

  • Nawija fought R'hllor as her divine power drained away, but R'hllor melted her ice constructs and weakened her further.
  • Gary arrived by helicopter and sealed R'hllor in a bubble with his divine power.
  • Gary crushed R'hllor into grains of divine power, then gave those grains to Nawija to restore her vitality.
  • Nawija explained how the Divine Body could guide Gary back to Westeros, and Gary opened a spacetime rift after leaving a divine-power marker behind.
  • Nawija agreed to join Gary's Divine Kingdom as the God of Honesty and look after his family.
  • Gary stored most of his divine power in churches around the world and flew through the rift toward Westeros.

Ch. 378The truth of the Many-Faced God

Gary killed the Stranger after the Stranger tried to seize the Divine Body. Meanwhile, Daenerys went to the Arbor to find Margaery and discovered that Euron had assembled thirteen gods of the Many-Faced God to capture her.

  • The Stranger tried to take possession of the Divine Body, but Gary seized and killed him, absorbing his divine power.
  • Daenerys searched Oldtown for Margaery, and Euron lured her to an abandoned vineyard on the Arbor.
  • Euron offered Daenerys to the assembled gods in exchange for letting him keep Margaery.
  • The thirteen gods introduced themselves as the Many-Faced God, an organization of Essosi gods led in part by the Stranger.
  • The Horse God demanded that Daenerys surrender her Crown, but she refused and challenged the gods to take it.

Ch. 379Remnants

After learning that Margaery had been abducted, Teresa, Bingling, and Melisandre decided to return to Westeros. On the Arbor, Daenerys and Margaery were cornered by Euron and the other gods, while Gary arrived with the women and forty-one dragons to confront them.

  • Melisandre told Teresa and Bingling that Daenerys suspected the Stranger had abducted Margaery, and the three women agreed to suspend their purge and return to Westeros for three days.
  • Euron freed Margaery from his squid double and threatened her while Daenerys fought thirteen enemy gods on the burning Arbor.
  • The Shadowcat rescued Margaery from Euron but was killed by the giant squid, and Daenerys was badly wounded while trying to protect her.

  • Gary sensed that Daenerys's mark was on the Arbor, and Teresa, Bingling, Melisandre, and forty-one dragons joined him above Oldtown.
  • Gary told the women to accompany him to the Arbor and finish off the remnants of the Old Gods.

Ch. 380Godslaying

Gary defeated the gods on the Arbor, killed the Drowned God, and set out to eliminate the remaining gods. Five years later, Jon Stark arrived in King's Landing and learned from Tyrion Lannister that King Luke Stark had not summoned him.

  • Gary rescued the wounded Daenerys and Margaery as his Divine Weapons destroyed the gods and caused the Arbor to sink.

  • Five years later, Jon Stark arrived in King's Landing and met Tyrion Lannister, who revealed that he, not King Luke Stark, had summoned Jon.

Ch. 381Home

Tyrion and Jon arranged for Princess Gu Lulu to inherit the Iron Throne after King Luke and the Queens disappeared, while discussing plans for a future Dragonrider Legion and campaign in Essos. Meanwhile, Gary returned to his family in New York with Daenerys and Margaery, introducing them as his wives.

  • Tyrion told Jon that King Luke and the Queens had vanished and left an abdication letter naming Jon as heir, but Jon insisted Gu Lulu should inherit while she lived.
  • Tyrion asked Jon and his sons to help form a Dragonrider Legion, and Jon agreed while deferring plans to conquer Essos to the Small Council.
  • Tyrion and Jon told Gu Lulu she had to become queen before she could command troops, and she agreed to ascend the throne and send an army to Essos.
  • Gary returned to his parents’ home in New York with Daenerys and Margaery and introduced both women as his wives.
