After discovering a dungeon in a remote cave, Qin Yu entered alone, suffered injuries, and retreated to wait for three gaming friends. Chen Nian encountered her there while escaping his pursuers 8 9.

When the men surrounding the cave threatened her rather than allowing her to leave, she returned inside. Despite fearing for her life, she called her friends to warn them away. Falling rock subsequently knocked her unconscious during the attackers’ Flame Dragon Scroll assault 9.

Nominal Relationship and the Skybreaking Demon God

When Chen Nian needed to explain their relationship to Su Jinyu, Qin Yu readily confirmed that they had been pretending to be a couple. Although she had developed genuine feelings and felt disappointed, she did not try to prevent him from pursuing another girl. Qin Yu later recommended Bi Shuang as a tournament contestant, telling Chen Nian that she had defeated two Demon God Rank Calamity Beasts before the bureau arrived. This recommendation helped bring Bi Shuang and Chen Nian together, and Bi Shuang became part of Dragon Country’s announced lineup 394 395.

Before returning home, Bi Shuang thanked Qin Yu and gave her a notebook bearing Buyu’s autograph. Learning that Bi Shuang and Chen Nian intended to establish a connection between their worlds, Qin Yu asked to accompany her. Her adventurous nature and desire to grow strong enough to fight beside her idol outweighed the dangers, and she prepared to leave after informing her friends 411.

Daughter of Tiankong

After being imprisoned in the King Domain, Qin Yu sang the Tiankong Hymn for people suffering from Madness. Her singing soothed a terminal-stage patient whom the local singers could no longer control. At the same time, Queen Tiankong’s statue shone for the first time in a hundred years 417.

Her efforts to support Chen Nian also encountered political resistance. Elders opposed risking conflict with the Crimson Flame Domain, criticizing her youth and personal attachment. Qin Yu valued Chen Nian more than the domain but found herself unable to overcome their arguments 471.

By the next major Calamity invasion, Qin Yu spent most of her time in the King Domain and had become a mainstay of the Seven Great Sky Domains.
