Planet Atobita.
"I've broken through to Transformation Force. My power level is now 2,480,000. Apart from Frieza, I can pretty much walk all over everyone in the early stages."
Wumu stood up, very satisfied as he felt his current strength. About two and a half years had passed since the last World Martial Arts Tournament, and there was another half year until the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament. Since Son Goku had not transformed into a Great Ape and destroyed the arena during the 21st tournament, the 22nd might still follow the five-year schedule. But Wumu leaned more toward the plot's corrective force finding some other reason to make it once every three years.
Now that Wumu's power level had reached the millions, he did not plan to return to Earth to participate. Unlike other transmigrators, he had no cheats like a system issuing missions and the like. He only needed to grow stronger and pursue the realm of Breaking the Void and See the Indestructible God.
He now planned to go to Planet Yardrat to see whether there were other cultivation methods. As for the Supreme Kai Planet, it was not in this dimension, so a spaceship could never find it. The same went for the God of Devastation Planet.
So Wumu packed up and headed for his spaceship to travel to Planet Yardrat, planning to look along the way for any uninhabited planets where he could plant a Tree of Might seed.
Wumu's spaceship traveled through the vast universe. Stars flashed past before his eyes like blurred scenery along a roadside. His heart was filled with curiosity about the unknown and a thirst for power. This time, he was going to Planet Yardrat to seek new cultivation methods and improve his strength.
On the way to Planet Yardrat, Wumu's spaceship unexpectedly detected an uninhabited planet covered in dense forests, brimming with life. Wumu decided to land and explore. He strolled through the forest, sensing the life energy unique to this planet. Finding an open space, he decided to plant the Tree of Might seed there. The seed quickly took root and sprouted. Before long, the plants there withered in an instant, and the land became a desert.
Looking at the sight before him, Wumu sighed. "Alas, this Tree of Might really is far too overbearing. Good thing I chose an uninhabited planet. Without a golden finger, I can only use methods like this to grow stronger."
Although Wumu was no good person, he had his own bottom line. He treated friendly people politely and took a different attitude toward enemies. To weak enemies, Wumu's stance was, I can't be bothered to say much to you. You aren't worthy of hearing it. With powerful enemies, he chose to avoid their sharp edge and seek revenge after growing stronger.
Just as Wumu was immersed in his thoughts, a demanding voice interrupted his contemplation. "Who are you?! How did this place end up like this?" A tall Saiyan appeared before him, clearly shocked by everything he saw. Wumu turned to face the Saiyan, somewhat surprised. He had not expected to encounter a fellow Saiyan on such a remote planet.
The Saiyan pointed at him in surprise. "A Saiyan? You're a Saiyan too?" Ganazi asked in delighted surprise.
Faced with the other man's questioning, Wumu answered calmly, "I'm not a Saiyan. I'm an Earthling." The other man clearly did not believe Wumu, thinking King Vegeta had sent him to pick him up. Wumu did not want to explain much. He knew Planet Vegeta had already been destroyed and the Saiyans were nearly extinct, but he could not be bothered to explain all of this to the man before him.
"I don't believe it. I don't believe it. Did King Vegeta send you to pick me up?" the other man pressed.
"Planet Vegeta has already been destroyed. There are no Saiyans left," Wumu said expressionlessly. Of course, he knew a few Saiyans were still alive, but he could not be bothered to explain.
"How is that possible... We're a warrior race! How was Planet Vegeta destroyed? Tell me!" Ganazi roared in disbelief, his voice filled with unwillingness to accept it and shock.
Wumu stared at him coldly, a shimmering Ki Bullet gathering in his hand. His warning was icy and firm. "Shut up. Stop bothering me. Otherwise, I'll make your Saiyan race extinct for good."
Ganazi nervously watched his Scouter. The power level displayed on it stirred an unfamiliar fear in his heart. He knew full well that the person before him was far beyond his ability to match. He swallowed, trying to steady himself. "I'm sorry. I got too worked up just now. May I follow you, my lord? My power level is only twelve thousand, but I'm willing to serve you."
Wumu pondered for a moment, a faint smile appearing on his face. "I don't need subordinates. Still, since you don't have much of a savage aura about you, I can let you stay by my side."
Afterward, Wumu beckoned Ganazi to sit down with him and wait for the fruit to ripen.
"Ki?" Ganazi asked curiously.
"Exactly. What we call Ki is what you call energy. People where I come from can sense how strong or weak someone's Ki is," Wumu explained.
He then revealed to Ganazi the truth behind Planet Vegeta's destruction, as well as the Saiyans who were still alive-Son Goku, Vegeta, Broly and his father, and Vegeta's trio.
Wumu also learned about Ganazi's past. As it turned out, he had been sent to conquer another planet as a child, but a meteorite collision along the way had caused him to crash here. He had survived on wild fruit and wild beasts ever since.
At this thought, Wumu could not help feeling a little speechless. This Ganazi had actually survived alone on this planet and reached a power level of twelve thousand. His circumstances were quite similar to Broly's.
"So there are still Saiyans alive. How strong is Prince Vegeta now?" Ganazi asked curiously.
"If nothing unexpected has happened, Vegeta's power level should be around eighteen thousand now. He's probably working for Frieza at the moment," Wumu answered.
"A power level of eighteen thousand! His Highness really is extraordinary. Does he know Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta? Or could it be..." Before Ganazi finished speaking, he fell into thought.
Wumu glanced at him and interrupted his wandering thoughts. "Whether he's enduring humiliation and bearing a heavy burden, I couldn't say. But with a power level of just eighteen thousand, even a hundredfold increase wouldn't be enough to defeat Frieza."
After all, Frieza's power level reached a staggering 120 million. Even Wumu felt a trace of despair at the thought. Within the next eight years, in time for the start of the Planet Namek arc, he had to break through to a power level in the tens of millions and gain an eightfold boost by breaking through to Dan Jin.
"Don't think so much about it. The Saiyans no longer have a king, and you've chosen to follow me. I won't treat you poorly, either. But I also need to make this clear: among the universe's publicly known powerhouses, Frieza has a power level of 120 million, followed by me at 2,480,000. Apart from that, I haven't heard of anyone else with a power level above a hundred thousand. Of course, that's only what's publicly known."
"One hundred... and twenty million? And my lord, you... you're actually a powerhouse with a power level of over two million, too." Ganazi gaped, utterly shocked.
Wumu sighed. "That's still nowhere near enough. More powerful fighters will emerge in the future. Your potential is enormous. If you can reach a power level of three million within the next few years, I can teach you to become a Super Saiyan. By then, you'll have a power level of 150 million." He then looked at Ganazi enviously. Ganazi had good talent and did not have much savagery in his heart. Relying on the Saiyans' passive ability, he could grow stronger very quickly.
"A Super... Saiyan? Do they really exist? My lord, you actually know so much." Ganazi was filled with reverence.
"I learned about it by chance. Once a Saiyan's power level reaches three million, they can achieve a fiftyfold transformation through specific conditions. That's a Super Saiyan," Wumu explained. Afterward, he said no more, simply watching the Tree of Might that was about to ripen, his heart filled with anticipation.
