After losing his sense of purpose, Peter travels to Earth-982, reunites with another version of himself, and helps Felicia while deciding to become Spider-Man again. He returns to the Fantastic Four’s world, absorbs the Cosmic Control Rod’s energy during a battle with Annihilus, and resumes life with new gear as an Avengers distress signal arrives.

• Peter found Xavier unable to reach the black tower in his memories, then helped Rogue control her powers with magnetic hair ties and grew closer to Jean.
• Reed’s rebuilt portal malfunctioned after Doctor Doom hacked it, sending Peter to Earth-982, where he found Mayday and met the Fantastic Five.
• Peter joined Mayday against the Dragon Emperor, confronted the reckless Avengers, and met an older Peter Parker and Mary Jane at their home.
• The older Peter encouraged Peter to reclaim his Spider-Man identity, while Peter discovered that Felicia Hardy had a daughter, Felicity, and was being threatened by Richard Fisk.
• Peter helped Mayday and Felicity subdue Fisk’s men, then revealed his identity to Felicia and resolved to become Spider-Man again.
• Peter returned to the Fantastic Four’s world and joined them in fighting Annihilus and his Baluurian forces in the Negative Zone.
• Peter coated Annihilus in molten adamantium and absorbed the Cosmic Control Rod’s energy, but Franklin knocked him out when he began raving about ruling the world.
• Peter discovered that proto-adamantium had fused to his claws, repaired his helmet with Franklin, and returned home to rebuild his web-shooters before Sassy reported an Avengers distress signal.

Peter learned magic from Strange, faced Mephisto, and was sent back to his original world. He chose to fight again by stopping the Sinister Six, then reunited with his family and friends as Christmas break began.

• Peter helped Strange defeat Shadow Demon, learned he was a Spider-Totem linked to the Web of Life and Destiny, and began training as Strange’s apprentice.
• Peter struggled with the threat of Thanos and the temptation of Franklin’s blood, but returned to Strange’s lessons and awakened a red-gold magic core.
• Peter rescued trafficking victims, confronted Richard Fisk, and continued studying magic, including the Shield of the Seraphim and Astral Projection.
• Strange and Peter were pulled into Mephisto’s realm, where Peter resisted Mephisto’s attack, helped banish him, and rescued a girl’s soul.
• Peter returned to his original world, learned the Sinister Six had escaped and were targeting Norman Osborn, then joined Bruce to fight them.
• Peter defeated Otto and the Sinister Six and protected Norman’s convoy, while Harry was injured and taken to the hospital.
• Peter reassured his family, showed Reed and Susan photos from his other-world adventures, and shared dinner with Richard, Uncle Ben, and Aunt May.
• Peter met MJ and Liz at their favorite café as Christmas break began, while an online theory claimed Spider-Man was dead.

Peter helped stop Killian’s plot, rescued President Ellis, and helped Riri begin recovering after Maya’s death. He took Tandy in, explored the Negative Zone with Reed, and ended the stretch by dismantling the Street Rats Gang and deciding to investigate the corrupt officials behind street crime.

• Peter helped Tony uncover Aldrich Killian’s Extremis scheme, rescued President Ellis with the assembled heroes, and later comforted Riri at Maya’s funeral.
• Peter and Reed opened a portal to the Antimatter Universe, and the Ancient One helped Ben begin training to control the dimensional energy causing his condition.
• Peter rescued Tandy from the Street Rats Gang, arranged legal help through Matt, and welcomed her into the Parker household before she moved to Midtown High School.
• Peter explored the Negative Zone, found Doctor Doom’s abandoned research, and joined Reed, Susan, and Johnny in mining eighty million dollars’ worth of minerals.
• Spider-Man trapped and defeated dozens of Street Rats Gang members, called the police, and resolved to investigate the corrupt officials sustaining street crime.

Peter faced Magneto, Harry’s emergence as Glider, and the deaths and dangers surrounding Tandy and Tyrone while pursuing his own technology projects. The arc ended with Peter investigating the Lizard after Roxxon-funded experiments wrecked Dr. Connors’s lab, then dodging an unseen threat at Empire State University.

• Harry returned to Peter’s life transformed, and Peter suspected Norman had given him the unfinished Green Goblin Serum.
• Peter helped the X-Men fight Magneto and the Brotherhood, then rushed back to New York when Harry’s Green Goblin alert sounded.
• Harry appeared as Glider during Scorpion’s rampage, and Peter protected civilians before confronting Harry over his reckless attacks.
• Peter began developing a Green Goblin Hunter suit, stole vibranium from Klaue, and used Web Vision to master telekinesis.
• Cloak drew Peter and Tandy into the Darkforce Dimension, where Tandy awakened as Dagger and they encountered Tyrone, whose uncontrolled powers had killed fifteen people.
• Tandy killed Tyrone to stop his attack, and the Ancient One took her to Kamar-Taj to learn to control her dangerous Lightforce.
• Peter helped Matt stop an armed gang, then warned Harry to improve his skills and use nonlethal equipment after Harry nearly endangered everyone with his Pumpkin Bombs.
• Gwen asked Peter for help after the Lizard wrecked Dr. Connors’s lab, and Peter found an officer dead and another wounded before his Spider-Sense warned him of danger.
