Background / History
Royal upbringing and escape to Earth
Luo'er was born a princess of the Luo God Clan's Divine Kingdom. Burdened by the expectations attached to her inheritance, she willingly sealed her life core rather than accept it. Her memories were also sealed during her time on Earth, and she later remembered those days with Chu Tiannan as the happiest of her life 666 1014.
Her childhood training left lasting resentment toward her father. He forced her to train at the Luo God River, where she had to raise the Luo God Sword despite initially lacking the strength to wield it. Her training would not be complete until she could cleave the waterfall 1645.
Meeting Chu Tiannan
After Chu Tiannan saved her, Luo'er pursued him for ten days, claiming that killing him would allow her to cultivate without thinking about him. Their repeated fights sharpened his abilities, but when she finally gained a decisive advantage, she stopped her blade at his neck rather than kill him 10 11.
Their hostility soon gave way to trust. They survived an encounter with an Earth-Splitting Bear, and Luo'er later enrolled at the Martial Artist Academy to find him. When she returned home, she arranged to keep in touch through their smart bracelets but refused to reveal her affiliation, confirming only that she belonged to neither the East nor North Martial Arts Hall 12 13 19 32.
The Lin Family and the engagement dispute
On Earth, Luo'er was known as the Lin Family's treasured granddaughter. Her growing attachment to Chu Tiannan conflicted with the marriage alliance announced between the Lin and Duan families. She rejected attempts by her fellow disciples to take her away from him and angrily challenged Martial God Liantian's claims about her engagement to Duan Haotian 221 301.
At Chu Tiannan's welcoming banquet, Luo'er publicly took his arm and told Lin Changkong that she did not want the engagement. Chu Tiannan shielded her from Lin Changkong's anger, while Chu Shen intervened and declared the families in-laws. Luo'er subsequently affirmed her choice before Lin Chao and Lin Xinru, saying she had no regrets 338 339.
The Demon Clan war and departure
Luo'er earned the title Glazed Glass Martial God while defending the Great Wall, where one sword strike swept through more than a hundred King Level Taotie Demon Beasts. Her Divine Light Domain later secured her a place in the Kunlun expedition by strengthening the group's combat power 262 376.
During the conflict with the Demon Clan, her power surged and her seal was eventually released, restoring both cosmic-level strength and knowledge of her true identity. She told Chu Tiannan that she had only learned who she really was upon releasing the seal. When Luo Quan arrived to retrieve her, she and Chu Tiannan parted with a promise: he would grow strong enough to reach her, and she would wait for him forever 389 415 423 432.
Reunion in the Universe Genius Battle
Although her inheritance entitled her to enter one of humanity's five great powers without competing, Luo'er insisted on joining the Universe Genius Battle to meet Chu Tiannan. After more than a hundred years apart, she found him meditating and thanked his companions with Essence-Fusing Souls for looking after him 1014 1017.
She also intervened against those hunting him, eliminating Aolan and Mofeite in the virtual competition. Her later matches revealed Fifth-Tier Invincible strength, sword qi embodying a law profound meaning, and the rare Luo God Form 1018 1039 1074 1094.
Defying clan pressure
Luo Sheng Emperor threatened to eliminate Chu Tiannan as an obstacle to the clan's plans and demanded that Luo'er reach Cosmic Venerable within ten thousand years. She refused to let the clan decide her personal affairs and explicitly forbade anyone from harming him 1154.
After a hundred thousand years of seclusion, Luo'er emerged at Cosmic Venerable Greater Perfection. She subdued Venerable Luo Sheng and the accompanying Invincible Emperors, demanded an apology for his attack on Chu Tiannan, and declared their agreement fulfilled. She warned him never to use the clan to pressure her again 1327.
Luo'er later completed the Luo God Throne inheritance and pledged to restore her clan's former prosperity. Before returning to the Heavenly Ladder Team, she knelt before Luo Tianshen and asked him to bless her relationship with Chu Tiannan. Her father finally agreed 1459 1460.
Throne ascension and marriage
While Chu Tiannan trained in the Ancestral Palace Divine Domain, Luo'er spent ten epochs cultivating and breaking through once per epoch. After an unsuccessful Throne attempt, she tried again. Chu Tiannan's arrival strengthened her confidence, and she ultimately became the Luo God Throne 1676 1680.
By the final battle, Luo'er had reached Limit Throne and insisted on fighting beside him. After the defeat of the Apostle and Underworld Clans, their friends and families gathered in Chaos City for their wedding, where Luo Tianshen personally entrusted her to Chu Tiannan 1868 1889.
Appearance
- Hair: Long golden hair reaching her slender waist 1073.
- Eyes: Brilliant, gemlike eyes characteristic of the Luo God Clan 10 1150.
- Usual clothing: A yellow dress; her Divine Light Sacred Cloth takes the form of her favorite yellow dress 1459 1460.
- Weapon silhouette: Often carries a greatsword nearly as tall as herself 1039 1074.
- Luo God Form: Radiates dazzling divine light and manifests two immense wings 1094.
- Later appearance: Retains the youthful appearance she had on Earth even after many epochs 1807.
- Wedding attire: A snow-white wedding gown 1889.
Personality
Luo'er combines aristocratic manners with stubborn independence. Her academy introduction displays polished etiquette, but she repeatedly rejects attempts to determine her marriage or separate her from Chu Tiannan. Even after accepting her responsibilities toward the Luo God Clan, she insists that choosing her partner remains her own right 19 1133 1154.
With Chu Tiannan, she is teasing, affectionate, and easily embarrassed. She mocks his smooth talk, worries when he risks his life without telling her, and rushes a thousand miles to collect him after learning of the Shadow Rat Tide. Her jealousy usually appears through pointed remarks or meaningful looks rather than direct accusations 32 139 220 1018.
Her demeanor in combat is markedly colder. Inheriting the Luo God Law makes her more belligerent, and she treats virtual battles with lethal seriousness. Nevertheless, she can restrain herself when recklessness would endanger Chu Tiannan, choosing support over a fight beyond her level 362 1039.
Abilities & Skills
Greatswordsmanship and Sword Qi
