History

Li Mu and Dai Huabin’s Fight

Mu Jin arrived with Du Weilun and a Tree of Life healer after Li Mu nearly killed Dai Huabin. She was surprised to learn that Li Mu belonged to her class and puzzled when Du Weilun imposed a major demerit and revoked his core disciple eligibility rather than expelling him. She then carried the unconscious Dai Huabin to the infirmary 5 6.

Zhou Yi’s Classroom Incident

Drawn by the disturbance from Li Mu’s confrontation with Zhou Yi, Mu Jin entered the classroom and found her longtime enemy pinned to a wall by an ice spear. She had never seen Zhou Yi in such a wretched condition and recognized that a student gravely injuring a teacher would shake the academy 13.

After discovering that Zhou Yi had also seriously injured Lan Susu, Lan Luoluo, and several other students, Mu Jin comforted the girls and recruited students from her own class to watch over the injured. She used a communication Soul Tool to alert Du Weilun, reporting both the students’ injuries and Zhou Yi’s condition. Initially unable to identify the attacker, she warned that an ice-attribute expert might still be nearby 14.

Yan Shaozhe subsequently assigned Mu Jin temporary responsibility for the class. She was surprised when Du Weilun announced Zhou Yi’s expulsion, knowing how much influence Zhou Yi’s husband, Fan Yu, possessed. Li Mu’s return without punishment also drew her curiosity 17. The expulsion was later rescinded, and Zhou Yi transferred to the Soul Tool Department 19.

Later Teaching Duties

During the Snow Empress’s attack on Shrek, the power released over the academy was intense enough that Mu Jin struggled to withstand it 22.

After Li Mu and Wang Dong were assigned to her class together, Wang Dong repeatedly attempted to pass Mu Jin messages about being controlled by Li Mu. These attempts came to nothing amid Li Mu’s threats and his development of explosive chips capable of killing Wang Dong. Mu Jin also approved Li Mu’s request for the pair to share a dormitory room without giving it much thought 36.

Freshman Assessment Tournament

Mu Jin allowed students to choose their own three-person teams, reserving teacher-assigned groups for those left over. She registered Li Mu, Wang Dong, and Xiao Xiao together and announced that the tournament would begin the following afternoon 37.

She dismissed Zhou Yi’s accusations that Li Mu had destroyed the White Tiger Duke’s Mansion. Despite knowing that he had injured Zhou Yi through hidden means, Mu Jin considered a two-ring student incapable of overrunning a residence guarded by Soul Saints and Soul Douluos 37.

Mu Jin had considered a first-place finish possible for Li Mu, but the ease of his tournament victory exceeded her expectations. Watching him settle matches in only a few moves left her at a loss for words 39.

Personality

Mu Jin prioritizes stabilizing emergencies: despite her alarm during the classroom incident, she comforted injured students, arranged supervision, and promptly contacted her superior. She also understood the damage the incident could cause Shrek Academy’s reputation 14.

She is cautious about institutional influence. Although her hostility toward Zhou Yi was irreconcilable, she concealed her knowledge of Zhou Yi’s marriage and maintained the appearance of being interested in Fan Yu to reduce the risk of retaliation 17.
