After Pain’s victory ended the war, the Akatsuki disbanded and Aoki Tsuki retired from leading the Jashin Cult, settling his affairs with his family. He then took Neji to the moon to fulfill their agreement, leaving the next era to the younger generation while he planned to live quietly in Amegakure.

• Naruto returned to the devastated village and learned from Jiraiya and Tsunade that the war was over and Pain had become the Shinobi World’s god, while Kakashi received word of the Allied Shinobi Forces’ defeat and Obito’s fate.
• Pain disbanded the Akatsuki, kept White Zetsu as an intelligence gatherer, and heard his report on the war’s casualties and the daimyō’s plans to cut ninja-village budgets.
• Pain freed Killer B from his Jinchūriki status and set out to travel, while the surviving Akatsuki members went their separate ways.
• Aoki Tsuki returned to the Land of Hot Water, appointed Kikuno Momo leader of the Jashin Cult, and told her to keep the group low-profile after the Akatsuki’s dissolution.
• Aoki Tsuki met Neji, clarified that Might Guy had died fighting him, and took Neji to the moon to fulfill their agreement.

Aoki Tsuki helped Neji settle Hinata’s marriage contract with Toneri, then returned to the Rain Village as the Akatsuki’s victory ushered in peace. Konan became village head, and a year later she and Aoki Tsuki welcomed their son, Aoki Minami.

• Neji signed the marriage contracts with Toneri for Hinata and the Hyuga Clan, while Aoki Tsuki explained Pain’s plans to protect the peace.
• Aoki Tsuki met Kabuto, who decided to return to Konoha as a medical ninja and open an orphanage, then found Sasuke waiting to ask for his help.
• Orochimaru spoke with Aoki Tsuki about peace and time as Aoki Tsuki revealed that the Akatsuki had disbanded and he planned to return to the village.
• Amegakure celebrated the end of the war, and Konan was officially appointed village head.
• Konan became sick during a meal with Aoki Tsuki, and they suspected she was pregnant; Aoki Tsuki served as acting village head while she rested.
• A year later, Aoki Tsuki and Konan took a family portrait with their son, whom Aoki Tsuki named Minami.
