• Shikaku adjusted the Allied Forces' strategy and dispatched reinforcements while the five daimyo discussed cutting ninja funding after the war.
• Kisame flooded the battlefield and attacked Mei Terumi with a thousand sharks, while Samehada absorbed her chakra.

• Kabuto dug an old coffin from a secluded mountain hollow and wondered whether the skeleton inside belonged to a legendary person.
• Jiraiya oversaw Konoha's evacuation as Sasuke visited the Uchiha compound, learned Naruto was training at Mount Myōboku, and left while Sakura watched.
• Obito stood at Rin Nohara's memorial stone and reaffirmed his resolve to destroy Konoha.
