His scent and music fascinate her, and she expresses affection directly through gifts and physical closeness rather than conversation 21 22 25.

Her protected position makes her mischievous and accustomed to acting without opposition. She frightens other Soul Beasts away, then deliberately obstructs Zhang Yang’s hunt so that he will remain nearby. Despite this possessiveness, she also anticipates danger to him: before establishing their spiritual connection, she sends the Scarlet King away to prevent his interference 21 26 27.

While staying in the Mixed Zone, the Three-Eyed Golden Lion notices Zhang Yang and Zhang Lexuan’s camp. Zhang Yang’s maximum-level charm draws her interest, while his music, imbued with the Law of Music, entrances her. She follows them secretly, reassured by the powerful guardian protecting her from the shadows 21.

She initially leaves several injured, vine-bound Soul Beasts near their camp without knowing which attributes Zhang Yang needs. After overhearing that he requires Mental and Charm Attributes, she supplies another group containing an Illusory Charm Spider. Its Soul Ring becomes Zhang Yang’s first; her later gifts also provide his second 22 23 33.

Growing Attachment

Zhang Yang suspects her involvement and deliberately keeps his Martial Soul active while pretending to sleep. She eventually approaches, nudges Zhang Lexuan’s hand aside, and rests her head on his palm. The Scarlet King observes but does not intervene 23 25.

Over the following days, she drives nearby Soul Beasts away to prolong Zhang Yang’s stay. She continues listening to his music and visiting him at night until her favorability reaches 100 26 27.

Spiritual Bond and Discovery

After sending the Scarlet King away on an excuse, she examines Zhang Yang and discovers an Auspicious Aura sharing the same origin as her own. Convinced that he is a being like herself, she initiates Attribute Guidance. Seeing Wang Qiu’er in his memories leads her to consider adopting that human appearance to please him; no transformation occurs in these chapters 27.

She leaves another group of captured Soul Beasts before withdrawing. Zhang Yang departs the forest with Zhang Lexuan, fearing the consequences if her guardian discovers their bond 27 28.

The Silver Dragon King senses a disturbance in fate and orders Di Tian to investigate. He discovers the change in the Three-Eyed Golden Lion’s soul and reprimands both her and the Scarlet King. She is placed under closer supervision, while the Silver Dragon King ultimately refrains from interfering with Zhang Yang 29.
