Ch. 41The First Gathering of Sovereigns

Redding gathered with Zijing and her husband before leading the Four Divine Beasts toward the place where the Water Divine Plane would be created. Vivian and Leijia met the Sovereign of Death and joined her group, while Leijia kept his connection to Redding secret.

  • Redding and the Four Divine Beasts met Zijing and her husband in the Spatial Turbulence and followed the Universe’s guidance toward the Water Sovereigns.
  • Leijia and Vivian set out toward the Water Divine Plane, and Vivian sensed the nearby Sovereign of Death.
  • Leijia and Vivian met the Sovereign of Death, whom Leijia addressed as big sister after their earlier dealings.
  • Leijia told the Sovereign of Death they were going to watch the Water Divine Plane’s creation and concealed his relationship with Redding.
  • The Sovereign of Death joined Vivian and Leijia, bringing their group to twelve as other Sovereigns kept their distance.

Ch. 42Tristan Again

Redding and the Four Divine Beasts' faction arrived at the gathering of Sovereigns assembled for the creation of the Water Divine Plane. Redding recognized Tristan, a former enemy who had become the Water Sovereign, while more than sixty Sovereigns gathered without either man daring to start a fight.

  • Redding arrived with six other Sovereigns, and the gathered groups kept their distance from the powerful party.
  • Laius told Redding that Tristan, whose Darkness Divine Clone Redding had destroyed long ago, had become a Sovereign.
  • Tristan recognized Redding and recalled fleeing to the Celestial Realm, where he obtained a High-level Sovereign Spark, but he hesitated to attack Redding's larger group.
  • Redding spotted Leijia with the Life and Death Sovereigns, Uhtred with three followers, and the other elemental Sovereigns among the gathering.
  • More than sixty Sovereigns assembled in Spatial Turbulence for the establishment of the Water Divine Plane.

Ch. 43Creating a Divine Plane

Tristan urged the six other Water Sovereigns to cooperate in creating the Water Divine Plane, reminding them that defying the Laws of the Universe and the Four Overgods would mean destruction. After thirty thousand years of gathering Sovereign's Might, the seven Water Sovereigns completed the plane’s material foundation.

  • Tristan called on the Water Sovereigns to begin creating the Water Divine Plane, but none followed his lead until he warned them of the consequences of disobeying the Laws of the Universe and the Four Overgods.
  • The Sovereigns backing the Water Sovereigns ordered their followers to cooperate, and Redding flew over to join Tristan.
  • A Water Element Intermediate Sovereign bluntly asked Tristan whether they should begin gathering Sovereign's Might, and Tristan silently marked him as his second target after Redding.
  • The seven Water Sovereigns gathered Sovereign's Might from the Spatial Turbulence for thirty thousand years.
  • The seven Water Sovereigns finished gathering the immense quantity of Sovereign's Might, and Redding pretended to struggle to conceal his strength.

Ch. 44Water Divine Plane

Redding, Tristan, and the other five Water Sovereigns created the Water Divine Plane, gaining major advances in their comprehension of the Laws as they worked. After eighty thousand years, the plane was completed, and the Laws of the Universe established teleportation arrays connecting it to the Four Overgod Planes and countless Material Planes.

  • The seven Water Sovereigns detonated Sovereign's Might and began shaping the Water Divine Plane while the other Sovereigns kept one another in check.
  • Redding and the other Water Sovereigns gained insights into the Profound Mysteries of the Laws, accelerating the plane’s construction.
  • The seven Sovereigns formed seven continents around an inland sea, with Tristan’s continent largest and Redding keeping his own smaller than those of the Mid-level Sovereigns.
  • As construction continued, Redding neared fusion of his six Profound Mysteries, while Tristan fused his fourth and partially fused his fifth.
  • Eighty thousand years later, the Water Sovereigns completed the plane, and four beams from the Laws of the Universe created teleportation arrays on three continents and an island.
  • The Laws of the Universe caused arrays leading to the Water Divine Plane to appear in the Four Overgod Planes and countless Material Planes.

Ch. 45Choosing a Continent

After the Water Divine Plane was opened, Tristan claimed most of its territory while Redding secured a large share. As the Sovereigns prepared to leave, Norman called them to witness his duel with Bryan, whose loser would surrender all territory in the Celestial Realm.

  • Tristan urged the Water Sovereigns to settle in the new plane, but most gave up their claims and returned to their backers.
  • Redding claimed his own continent, a neighboring continent, and nearby sea, while another Lower Sovereign took a smaller territory; Tristan claimed everything left.
  • Tristan decided to postpone killing Redding until after Redding had developed his territories.
  • Nemo checked that Redding was safe, while he and the others had been ready to fight Tristan if he attacked.
  • Norman asked the Sovereigns to witness his duel with Bryan, declaring that the loser would surrender all territory in the Celestial Realm.

Ch. 46Fate Sovereign vs. Light Sovereign

The Fate Sovereign Norman and the Light Sovereign Bryan fought over their territories in the Celestial Realm after years of conflict. As Bryan grew frustrated by Norman’s strange defense, he prepared to use a more powerful move.

  • Norman challenged Bryan to fight for their Celestial Realm territories, and both swore Overgod Oaths to stake their lands and prevent interference.
  • Norman and Bryan exchanged attacks, but neither could seriously harm the other with their initial strikes.
  • Norman used the Edicts of Fate to transfer the damage from Bryan’s attacks to his future self, and Redding recognized the technique.
  • Bryan attacked hundreds of times without effect while Norman cut him with his strange saber, leaving Bryan increasingly frantic.
  • Bryan decided to use a powerful move and warned Norman not to blame him if he fell to it.

Ch. 47Uhtred's Transmission

Bryan and Norman ended their battle in the Spatial Turbulence after badly injuring each other, then returned toward the Celestial Realm. Leijia stayed behind to meet Uhtred, who had sent him a Soul Transmission.

  • Bryan restrained Norman with golden light, but Norman broke free and struck Bryan while losing an arm to Bryan's spear.
  • Bryan called the battle a draw and fled toward the Celestial Realm, and Norman departed with his followers soon afterward.
  • The other Sovereigns declined to pursue Bryan or Norman because killing either would be difficult and risk provoking retaliation.
  • Redding led the Sovereigns of the Four Divine Beasts' lineage through the Water Divine Plane to the Infernal Realm.
  • Leijia refused the Sovereign of Death's offer to send Vivian with him and stayed in the Spatial Turbulence to meet Uhtred.

Ch. 48Leijia, Master of Talk Therapy

Leijia met Uhtred in the spatial turbulence, and their old friendship helped Uhtred regain his resolve to strengthen his position in the Infernal Realm. As Leijia returned toward the Life Divine Realm, he found and kept a fragment of a shattered Sovereign Artifact.

  • Leijia met Uhtred, and they greeted each other after hundreds of thousands of years apart.
  • Uhtred praised Leijia's strength, while Leijia explained that he preferred the relative peace of the Life Divine Realm to the Infernal Realm's conflicts.
  • Leijia urged Uhtred to rely on strength rather than fear the Sovereigns allied against him, and Uhtred thanked him and promised him a place in the Infernal Realm.
  • Leijia and Uhtred shared insights into their Profound Mysteries before departing for their respective realms.
  • Leijia traveled through the spatial turbulence toward the Life Divine Realm and caught a fragment of a Sovereign Artifact, which he stored in his interspatial ring.

Ch. 49Acting Separately

The Earth and Fire Divine Planes began taking shape at the same time, forcing Redding to split the Four Divine Beasts' faction so the Sovereigns could guard both sites. As Nemo helped establish the Fire Divine Plane, Tristan prepared to eliminate Redding, who noticed someone approaching and believed his bait had worked.

  • Redding led the faction's Sovereigns to the Spatial Turbulence, where the seven Earth Sovereigns began establishing the Great Earth Divine Plane.
  • When the Fire Sovereigns were summoned to create their plane, Redding left Zijing, Pash, and Laius to guard Leiyuan and Bowen while he accompanied Nemo to the Fire Divine Plane.
  • Leijia traveled through the Spatial Turbulence to join Redding and Nemo as they headed for the Fire Divine Plane.
  • Tristan learned that Redding was at the Fire Divine Plane, obtained its location, and dismissed his Lower Sovereign while planning to kill Redding.
  • As the Fire Sovereigns formed their plane, Redding moved away from the scorching energy while keeping Nemo under watch, then sensed a figure approaching and said it had taken the bait.

Ch. 50Tristan Enters the Fray

Tristan pursued Redding through the Spatial Turbulence, while Oliver followed, hoping to claim Redding’s Water Element Sovereign Spark. Redding confronted Oliver first and pretended to be outmatched, leaving Oliver confident as their fight began.

  • Tristan found Redding and threatened revenge, while Redding feigned fear and fled at deliberately reduced speed.
  • Nemo noticed Tristan’s pursuit and worried as she worked on creating a Divine Plane.
  • Oliver followed Redding, believing his displayed strength made him an easy target, while Tristan trailed farther behind.
  • After a month of pursuit, Oliver blocked Redding’s path and declared that he would take Redding’s Sovereign Spark.
  • Redding and Oliver clashed, and Redding let Oliver’s hammer blow send him flying so Oliver would believe he had the advantage.
