All settled
Bai Mo scanned the area, but couldn't find the Trimurti at this gathering. Ganesha, seemingly understanding Bai Mo's intention, explained:
"Shiva is still watching that spacetime distortion, Brahma has disappeared again, and as for Narottama... we don't know where he went either."
Ganesha shrugged helplessly and continued, "But there's no need to worry about him. With Narottama gone, he must have his own plans. Not being able to find him is actually reassuring."
Upon hearing this, Ganesha gave Bai Mo a brief introduction to the gods, and Bai Mo took the opportunity to ask Ganesha to take care of the survivors, including Draupadi and Kunti.
"Of course, they are blessed people, and now that this matter is over, they will naturally live a happy life. Don't worry, I'll keep an eye on them and nothing will happen."
Ganesha patted his chest, his round belly rippling with waves.
With Ganesha's assurance, Bai Mo finally felt at ease and sat down. At the same time, he casually used his Magnetic Field Power to create a table full of delicious food. Ganesha happily grabbed the food and stuffed it into his mouth, attracting the attention of Parvati not far away.
"Alright, now that the personal matters are settled, let's move on to the official business. Bai Mo, first of all, your matter is now complete; the Lostbelt King has undoubtedly been defeated."
As for those who were eliminated by the [Maha Pralaya], we will bring back a portion of them...
Indra deliberately emphasized the word "part," which was expected, even though Arjuna's sword strike had wiped out at least 80% of the population of the entire India world.
But this is, after all, a dualistic era, where only half of the Dharma remains, and it is in its final stages.
According to the descriptions in the Mahabharata, after Krishna's death, the Age of Struggle would begin. Indra's meaning is clear: some people were indeed eliminated because Arjuna as evil due to physical disabilities or other reasons, and these people were worth saving.
But there are others, such as the Kshatriya kings who gained power by accident, or the local bullies, scoundrels, and true evildoers. Let them go if they're gone.
It's a good thing that a heartless and insane guy like Yao Lian was cleaved in two by Arjuna's sword.
Bai Mo had no objection to this. He said, "You can let me go there first. If there is anyone willing to repent, then we can naturally give them a second chance. Of course, we must leave a backup plan."
"There are other gods who do that kind of thing. You should put yourself in a higher position. Even if it's to conserve your energy and prepare for the next Singularity, it's better than wasting your time on those guys."
You need not worry, we will not overlook any Brahmin, nor will we misplace any Shudra.
Upon hearing Indra's words, Bai Mo frowned slightly, while Ganesha, standing beside him, reached out and patted Bai Mo's shoulder, smiling:
You've misunderstood, or rather, many people in this world have misunderstood.
Initially, caste was determined primarily by moral character, with ability being a secondary factor.
Those who are mired in the mire but still maintain high moral character, even if they are Dalits, will be looked upon by the gods; therefore, they are the true Brahmins.
Those Brahmins who merely sit and serve, guarding idols and using this to amass wealth for their own gain, are untouchables. Those Brahmins who are uneducated, do not perform sacrifices for the people, and do not help people communicate their difficulties and needs to the gods, are useless.
The former are the true Shudras and Dalits, while the latter, a wise king should tax them and send them to do hard labor, instead of making them parasites on the tree all day long.
Upon hearing Ganesha's explanation, Bai Mo understood. During the Kurukshetra War Yudhishthira Mahabharata, when Bhishma was teaching Yudhisha, he also explained the misdeeds of the Brahmins, stating that Brahmins without virtue should not be given important positions, and that Brahmins who were both without virtue and incompetent should be treated as outcasts.
"But such a system will eventually be exploited by those with ulterior motives. We cannot expect everyone to be selfless. In the future, those people will use the names of their predecessors to collect knowledge and control the country."
Now that I have come to the past, please do not allow this system of surnames to continue. Noble and learned people do not need a title; their abilities will earn them respect.
Moreover, knowledge has now been stifled, which is an unacceptable folly for any civilization.
Upon hearing Bai Mo's words, the gods exchanged glances, clearly unsure how to proceed. Finally, Indra slapped his armrest and said:
"After this, the high caste will no longer be judged by birth, and a king without virtue will also become a Shudra. Let those who have secluded themselves in the forests come out and seek out worthy people to pass on their knowledge."
In any case, the evildoers have basically been eliminated by the [Maha Pralaya]. At this moment, we have essentially returned to the Krita Yuga, and it is just the right time to establish a new Dharma.
With Indra's words, the matter was considered settled. Then, looking at the distorted spacetime in the sky, he continued:
"Alright, all you need to do is go back to that time, the Fantasy Tree is there, and complete the transfer like you did with the previous Lostbelt."
We'll discuss the rest then.
Indra left before transforming into a bolt of lightning and departing. The remaining gods bowed to Bai Mo and then followed Indra.
after a while--
In the Lostbelt world, Ritsuka suddenly shouted, "We can't just abandon him like this... Hey? Brother Bai?"
Ritsuka looked at the suddenly appearing Bai Mo and the mysteriously vanished Lostbelt King with a puzzled expression.
"Bai Mo, you're up here? We need to leave quickly, that Arjuna could disappear at any moment..." Kadoc looked worried, while Bai Mo waved his hand, threw the materials needed for Tenju on the ground, and said:
"It's alright, it's been resolved."
Everyone was completely bewildered. Just moments ago, Arjuna had acted as if he wanted to evaporate them all. What did he mean by... "It's all resolved"?
