Bai Mo fought Nidhogg with the Triple War God’s support until Shiki explained that the dragon’s power and nature were tied to despair, and that he needed to hold on until hope arrived. The battle continued as Gullfaxi noticed that the missing eyeball had reappeared beneath Ortlinde’s eyepatch.

• Bai Mo and the Triple War God struck Nidhogg together, badly wounding him, but Nidhogg pierced Bai Mo’s head with the Sword of Victory and escaped their attack.
• Bai Wunan told Bai Mo that Nidhogg’s immense power came from a flawed cultivation method that fused Primordial Spirits, then directed him to ask Shiki about the cost.

Ortlinde learned that Odin’s plan required her to use the Rune in her eye to awaken the Valkyries at the cost of their lives, and Skadi freed her to choose for herself. As Ortlinde prepared to act, Sigurd sacrificed part of his Spirit Origin to give Bai Mo a dragon-slaying weapon, creating an opening in Nidhogg’s defenses.

• Skadi opened the barrier, and a world-altering fluctuation drew the attention of Landao Tianwu and Electric Eye.
• Tiandao appeared, crushed Landao Tianwu’s hand, and beat him after Landao Tianwu tried to justify killing Tiandao’s birth parents.
• Tiandao healed Electric Eye, who recognized him as his Second Brother.
• Sea Tiger healed Landao Tianwu, then revealed he was Mizuki Hitomi’s man and had no intention of helping him.

• Bai Mo woke after half a month in Shiki’s hot spring and learned that Ophelia had been rescued and settled in Chaldea.

• Bai Mo collected Nidhogg’s skeleton and went with his companions to Helheim to hunt the remaining venomous snakes.

• Kadoc returned from a materials-gathering mission exhausted, and Bai Mo asked Dr. Roman where Ritsuka and Mash were.
• Dr. Roman explained that Ritsuka had entered a strange Singularity in Salem and that Chaldea could not contact her.
• Bai Mo used the Relic café to enter the Singularity, but a distorted starry sky pulled him onto its stage.
• Ritsuka and Robin Hood fought wolves in the woods, and Bai Mo arrived just as more wolves attacked them.

The group began questioning why the Throne of Heroes had guided Circe into a witch-hunt Singularity that suppressed Servants’ powers.

• Ritsuka brought the unconscious Abigail Williams to the cottage, where Bai Mo examined her and recognized her importance to the Salem Witch Trials.
• Medea reported that Tituba had not returned from buying groceries, Mata Hari and the others were gathering information, and Randolph Carter had left.
• Dr. Roman told Ritsuka that half a month had passed in Chaldea despite only two days passing in Salem, and Bai Wunan warned Bai Mo to stay alert.
• Bai Mo identified Medea as Circe after noticing the wheat porridge, and Circe dropped her disguise and explained how she had joined the mission.
