• Hu Jiu fused two pairs of Soul Skills and used his perfected Ice and Fire Domain to help Ah Yin absorb life force and return from her golden cocoon to Tang Hao.
• Tang San returned from Hell Road with a dangerous killing aura, then spent half a year studying under Tang Yuehua before joining Hu Jiu and the others on their journey to Sea God Island.
• The group rescued women from a Wolf Bandit camp, and Hu Jiu gave Zhu Zhuqing the leader’s Bloodthirsty Berserk Hurricane Right Leg Bone.
• In Vast Sea City, Hu Jiu bought the Dragon Abyss Boat, but the group boarded Haider’s Sea Demon, where Hu Jiu exposed the crew’s attempt to rob them.
• After surviving the Deep Sea Demon Whale and defeating the Purple Pearl Pirate Group’s violent members, the group learned about Sea God Island from Jixiang and crossed to the island in the Dragon Abyss Boat.
• The island’s Sea Soul Masters warned the Shrek Eight that their trial could end only in completion or death, and their spiritual abilities failed to work in the island’s strange energy.
• At the Seahorse Sacred Pillar, Seahorse Douluo required the group to cross the turbulent pool before accepting the trial, and Dai Mubai and Ma Hongjun both reached the platform and qualified.

Hu Jiu and the Shrek Eight accepted the Sea God’s trials, grew stronger through training, and completed their first challenges. After Hu Jiu became the Sea God’s successor, the group formed the Tang Sect and began learning its techniques before attempting the Ring Sea trial.

• Hu Jiu and his companions reached the Seahorse Sacred Pillar, dispelled Seahorse Douluo’s suspicion that they belonged to Spirit Hall, and accepted their trials, with Hu Jiu receiving the Sea God’s Nine Trials.
• Bo Saixi welcomed Hu Jiu as the Sea God’s successor and arranged for the group to begin training on the steps through the Sea God’s Light.
• The group absorbed God-Bestowed Soul Rings, and Hu Jiu broke through to Titled Douluo while the others trained on the steps for months.
• Zhu Zhuqing and Ning Rongrong each gained powerful Soul Rings, while Hu Jiu refined his abilities and defeated the group in a sparring match.

Hu Jiu and the Shrek group passed the Sea God’s trials, helping Xiao Bai transform and defeating the Evil Orcas while strengthening their abilities. Hu Jiu then helped Ning Rongrong obtain a powerful soul ring and healed Tang Hao, who challenged him to spar.

• Hu Jiu helped the group pass the Second Trial by leading them through the Island Sea, and Ning Rongrong gave Xiao Bai her Martial Soul evolution opportunity.
• Xiao Bai transformed into a human after the Sea God removed the shackles in her mind, then evolved her Martial Soul with Hu Jiu’s help.
• The Shrek Eight endured the year-long Tidal Body Refinement trial, and Hu Jiu attained the Indestructible Golden Body.
• Tang San helped Ma Hongjun evolve into a Seven-Headed Fire Phoenix, and Oscar obtained his Seventh Soul Ring with Xiao Bai’s help.
