• Xue Qinghe offered Hu Jiu an imperial position, and Hu Jiu accepted the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud instead, which he gave to Xiao Wu so she could conceal her identity.
• Tang San led Shrek to victory over Elephant Armored Academy, whose captain Hu Yan Li revealed a valuable skull Soul Bone before surrendering.
• Hu Jiu intervened when Shi Nian trapped Tang San, then took Shi Nian’s Left Arm Soul Bone and absorbed its Illusionary Space ability.

Shrek Academy dominated the Promotion Tournament, then survived a major ambush on the way to Spirit City and prepared for the Finals. Dai Mubai and Zhu Zhuqing faced a match against their Star Luo relatives, whose family traditions had forced them into a deadly succession struggle.

• Hu Jiu advanced his skills, Shrek Academy finished the Promotion Tournament undefeated, and Tang San defeated Feng Xiaotian in their decisive duel.
• Hu Jiu and Tang San visited Tang Hao and Ah Yin at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, where Tang Hao trained Hu Jiu and Ah Yin thanked him.
• A large force ambushed the tournament convoy in a valley, but Dugu Bo, Tang Hao, and other allies helped Shrek defeat the attackers.
• Shrek’s team reached the Finals in Spirit City, where Tang San and Dai Mubai returned with powerful sixth Soul Rings.
• Shrek learned that Huo Wu and former Blazing Academy members had joined Godwind Academy, then drew Star Luo Royal Advanced Soul Master Academy as its opponent.

After Shrek won the Spirit Master tournament, Hu Jiu gathered soul bones and strengthened his ties with Ning Rongrong, Xue Qinghe, and his friends. The group separated, Tang San entered Slaughter City with Tang Hao, and Hu Jiu reached Level 80 as Tang Hao returned.

• Dai Mubai and Zhu Zhuqing defeated Star Luo Royal Academy, then Shrek overcame Spirit Hall Academy in the finals and won the tournament.
• Hu Jiu accepted a torso bone from Bibi Dong after Tang Hao and Dugu Bo confronted Spirit Hall, then absorbed it and fused his six soul bones.

After returning to Heaven Dou City, he became engaged to Ning Rongrong, reunited with Dai Mubai, and claimed the Sea God’s Heart, which set him on the path toward its trial.

• Hu Jiu reached level eighty and recruited the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect’s elders to help him hunt the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger, while Liu Erlong absorbed an eighty-thousand-year Flame Lizard Soul Ring.
• Hu Jiu defeated the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger, absorbed its Soul Ring, and gained an External Soul Bone shaped like its tail.
• Hu Jiu trained with Xiao Wu, Zhu Zhuqing, and Ning Rongrong in the Star Dou Great Forest, where Zhu Zhuqing and Ning Rongrong gained Soul Rings and Xiao Wu evolved her Martial Soul into a God-Tier Moonlight Rabbit.
• Hu Jiu returned to Heaven Dou City, began relationships with Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong, and attended Qian Renxue’s banquet, where he overheard Bibi Dong’s plan to control him with a gu.
