Background / History

The Ice and Fire Dragon Kings knew of the Sacred Beast White Tiger through ancient accounts from the Dragon God. They had seen pictures but had never encountered it personally. In those accounts, it was a supreme existence of the heavens and myriad worlds, above the creator god and the universe itself 27.

After Dai Fei awakened in the Star Luo imperial mausoleum, a golden light drew his soul into another space. There, the Sacred Beast White Tiger introduced itself as being from Huaxia, chose him as its successor, and transmitted its inheritance through a golden light entering his brow. This transformed his Martial Soul and granted him the Geng Metal Sacred Art. The speaking phantom then dispersed, returning Dai Fei to his body 1.

The inheritance later caused the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ remnant souls to halt their intended attack on Dai Fei. Recognizing the Sacred Beast’s presence, they acknowledged his inherited status and agreed to give him their power in exchange for his promise to help Soul Beasts ascend if he became a god 27.
