Inside the town, a strange plague doctor confronted a resident and identified the resident’s young daughter as another case of “Pestilence.”

• Tuoji City raised its alert and requested support from Arkham, the Esoteric Order of Dagon, and the Foundation.
• Arkham sent its Magic Energy squad, while the Esoteric Order of Dagon and the Foundation dispatched potion masters and a Mobile Task Force.
• After a day without contact, the town remained cut off as residents saw more bodies left uncollected and heard no patrols.
• A strange plague doctor told a resident that Pestilence was cured and showed him people walking outside, including his supposedly dead wife.

Inside the fog, the team found the landscape corrupted and an ordinary man behaving strangely before fleeing from them toward the tentacles.

• Chi Yan led qualified World Association members into the fog after explaining that Shen Hui’s Creation World was homogenizing the Real World through a passage.
