• Authorities and mercenaries explored the newly expanded territory and discovered an immense snowy mountain range.
• After mercenaries failed to scout the mountains, an expedition of scholars, scientists, Potion masters, and special operations soldiers set out to explore them.
• The expedition found dissected mercenary bodies, endured blizzards, and discovered a vast ruin built from megaliths.
• Inside the ruin, the explorers studied carvings describing the Elder Things, the Shoggoths, and their civilization.

• The expedition opened the stone door, found their missing teammates' mangled corpses, and saw the Elder Things' vast civilization beyond it.
• The Elder Things drove most of the expedition mad, and the surviving scholar and potion master fled as the mountain began to move.
• The scholar and potion master realized the mountain was a Shoggoth, which crushed them as the final wave of madness overtook them.

Shen Hui led Qingxue into an alley to confront the people following them, where he discovered they were Tarot Club members. The Tower, Huang Lingheng, revealed that he intended to help Shen Hui complete a mysterious ritual and challenged him to fight.

As Huang Lingheng summoned more undead and challenged Shen Hui’s power, Shen Hui unleashed a final force that made black, eye-covered tendrils erupt from the undead.

Shen Hui’s rage over Qingxue’s danger pushed him and Death World into an uncontrolled descent, overwhelming Huang Lingheng’s Creation World. As Huang Lingheng lost his Creator Form, prayers from the Deep Ones awakened an ancient, terrifying presence within Death World.

As Zhiyue confronted Leng Zimeng, the sphere containing Shen Hui and the others began to crack and burst open, releasing a torrent of black water and an unknown figure.

• The World moved Qingxue away from the spreading contamination and warned her to stay put, but Qingxue attacked and demanded that Shen Hui be released.
• Qingxue rushed into the contaminated area, where the black substance overwhelmed her and the World could not isolate it.

Shen Hui’s uncontrolled power warped reality and threatened to fully unfold his Creation World, while Zhiyue struggled to contain him. When his power poisoned Zhiyue’s authority, Huang Lingheng reminded her of Qingxue, whose presence might explain Shen Hui’s loss of control.

• Shen Hui ignored Zhiyue’s pleas as his barrier eroded and his power darkened the sky and twisted what Zhiyue, Leng Zimeng, and Huang Lingheng could see.
• Zhiyue used her authority of justice to absorb Shen Hui’s power and steady the scales, but an enormous tentacle formed around them and began poisoning her.
