The Necropolis of the Gods has reopened.
"I'm finally back!"
The voice was delicate and lively. Jason looked over and saw it was Tarosse. Jason had seen him once before when the Saint-level left the Necropolis of the Gods, but they hadn't exchanged any words.
Tarosse had already killed many Saint-level, so he naturally met the criteria to leave the Necropolis of the Gods. The Necropolis of the Gods' opening period of one thousand years had ended, and he was finally freed.
Jason guessed that Beirut deliberately went easy on Tarosse, a junior from the same plane, by placing him on the fourth level. As for why Tarosse entered the Necropolis of the Gods, that remains unknown.
Dylan and his three companions huddled together, while Jason, Clear Spring, and Linda formed a group. Tarosse glanced around, showing no immediate intention to take sides.
"Are you alright?" Jason asked Clear Spring and Linda.
Jason had previously forbidden Dylan and the others from harming the two, but he knew that the four were resentful of him and might try to sabotage him.
"It's nothing, it's just that a Lowgod that Clear Spring and I were fighting was stolen by that guy Dylan." Linda was a little indignant.
Jason nodded. "It's nothing. This kind of thing will be very common when we get to the Higher Planes. Let's get used to it in advance."
Seeing that everyone had calmed down, Beirut said, "In the past ten years, a major event has occurred on the continent—a large number of powerful individuals from the Gebados Plane have emerged."
"What?!" the group exclaimed in surprise.
Jason frowned, seemingly urging Beirut to continue.
Beirut continued, "I won't go into details, but right now a Midgod is leading four Lowgod in an attack on Dragonblood Castle. People from the Four Ultimate Warrior Clans, O'Brien and Catherine's disciples, and Dylan's two sons are all there."
Everyone around gasped in shock.
Jason clasped his hands in a fist and said, "Your Excellency Beirut, I shall take my leave now."
"Farewell—" The group flew north.
Jason was much faster than them, especially underwater. With his Water Body Technique and Profound Mystery of Roundness fully integrated, Jason easily pulled a long way ahead of Dylan, who had revealed his true form.
About two minutes later, Jason's divine sense finally covered the Yulan Continent.
Jason's heart tightened. Veronica and most of the Rhine Clan were in Bloodshadow Valley, further south. There were some Lowgod within the Rhine Empire, but there was no sign of them attacking Bloodshadow Valley yet.
But Monica wasn't in Bloodshadow Valley.
When his divine sense was finally able to cover Dragonblood Castle.
Jason discovered a group of people engaged in a bloody battle: Linley, Monica, Olivier, and Desri.
Clearly, Linley had just broken through to the Lowgod, so his deterrent power was lower than Jason's, and he was attacked first.
"No one's injured or killed yet, thank goodness," Jason thought to himself.
Clearly, with Monica there, the situation was more stable this time, and Jason's support arrived much faster, with no casualties reported.
"I am O'Gavin, and you must be Jason?" a voice rang out.
He was Midgod god who led the Lowgod in the siege of Dragonblood Castle.
"The Rhine Empire and the Four Way Territories are mine. Get out of here."
Jason completely disregarded his opponent. If he hadn't been wary of Bluefire, he might have followed the original storyline and arrived on the Yulan Continent. Now, he used a drop of the Sovereign’s Might to kill all the Highgod and Midgod who had escaped from the Gebados Plane.
O'Gavin looked furious, seemingly surprised that Jason dared to defy him. "I've already avoided the Rhine Empire; I only wanted to take over this Four Way Territories Territory. Your appetite is far too great."
He had previously investigated Jason and knew that Jason had single-handedly repelled four Lowgod and two Deity-level projections. He suspected that Jason was a newly ascended Midgod, so he temporarily spared the Rhine Empire and decided to wait until Jason and his group came out of the Necropolis of the Gods before deciding whether to fight or make peace.
Unexpectedly, Jason, a Deity-level who is not even a thousand years old, dares to be so arrogant.
Drawing his spear, O'Gavin prepared to kill the four Lowgod before him, and then deal with Jason.
His son was still in the battle, partly because he didn't want his son to be in danger, and partly because his divine sense had also seen Dylan behind him.
O'Gavin's consciousness currently only includes Jason Dylan; the others are still outside his perception. He believes he can handle two newly-broken Midgod by himself, but if several Lowgod from the Yulan Continent arrive later and join the attack, the battle will be very difficult.
However, Jason unexpectedly launched his attack from a great distance.
Jason had just flown out of the sea and onto land, unleashed a bolt of lightning from his body, which traversed nearly ten thousand miles and struck a metal spire outside Dragonblood Castle.
In the Material Plane, even without Divine Power power, Jason's Arc Flash could easily extend for tens of thousands of miles, directly traversing a country!
To O'Gavin's astonishment, Jason appeared not far away.
For Deity-level, the Yulan Continent is not large; Midgod's divine sense can completely cover it, Lowgod can cover two empires.
The fact that O'Gavin besieged Dragonblood Castle had been sensed by Deity-level in the Yulan Continent, and Jason's move just now had made the hearts of the Deity-level who were paying attention to this matter clench.
A junior who has only cultivated for a thousand years has not only broken through to the Midgod, but can also unleash such powerful moves!
O'Gavin frowned. He sensed Jason's threat. In his view, Linley was a growing threat, while Jason was a fully grown one.
"Your Excellency, my last conversation with --"
O'Gavin seemed to want to negotiate one last time, but Jason answered him with a blood-red longsword.
O'Gavin thrust his spear forward, attempting to deflect the longsword, but was struck by the golden light emanating from the Holy Bible in Jason's left hand, causing him to twist slightly before the longsword cleaved towards his face.
The fiery clone darted out ahead of time, wielding a short spear to deflect the attack.
O'Gavin retreated rapidly, inwardly surprised. "A dual-elemental Midgod! He obtained a Mid Godhead in the Necropolis of the Gods? Impossible, refining Mid Godhead couldn't be this fast."
The clash between their domains just now has shown that Jason is also a Midgod with two different systems.
Jason's strength had exceeded O'Gavin's expectations. The power of that last strike was unremarkable, but the terrifying move that instantly traversed thousands of miles, and the golden light that could distort the trajectory of his weapon's attack, all made O'Gavin wary.
"You guys go first." O'Gavin transmitted his thoughts to the four Lowgod behind him, while simultaneously maximizing his domain, both to slow down Jason and to create an opportunity for the four of them.
The four Lowgod had already disengaged from the battle and had been confronting Linley and the others. Just as they turned to leave after receiving the telepathic message, they discovered that seven streams of water were swirling out from the tip of Jason's Mystic Ice Sword, encircling and trapping the surrounding area.
Jason's figure quickly dissolved into the water, bypassing O'Gavin at an extremely fast speed as he rushed towards the four Lowgod.
This is Water Element move that Jason modified by combining the Lightning Element "Arc Flash" after realizing that the Water Element Crystal Space was temporarily unusable in combat. It can greatly increase speed within a small area.
Upon seeing Jason's figure dissolve into the water, O'Gavin knew something was wrong. Hundreds of beams of light immediately erupted from his body, shooting outwards like a hedgehog's quills.
The seven streams of water were pierced and exploded by the beam of light. Jason's figure briefly appeared before dissolving into the water droplets beside him.
At the same time, amidst the torrential rain, every drop of water reflected Jason's image— the Water Profound Mystery's "Reflection."
Countless Jason figures flickered, leaped, and moved among the water droplets, making it difficult for O'Gavin to discern the direction of Jason's attacks.
Ogavin's fire-elemental clone stood guard to the side, while his light-elemental clone raised its spear high, unleashing a dazzling display of seven-colored light that caused the surrounding water droplets to quickly dissipate—the profound light-elemental "purification"!
Seeing this, the eight Lowgod from both sides knew that this place was not a safe place to stay, and wanted to turn around and leave.
However, Jason suddenly appeared, and amidst the clash of swords, the four unsuspecting Lowgod screamed in agony and died on the spot.
Upon hearing his son's voice, O'Gavin's eyes widened, the seven-colored light around him abruptly stopped, and his face quickly turned pale. It was unclear whether it was the shock of his son's death or the backlash from having his attack interrupted.
Jason collected the remains of the four Lowgod and told Monica and the others to leave quickly.
From the very beginning, saving Monica was his top priority. After his previous clash with O'Gavin, he already knew the strength of his opponent, who was only Two-Star Fiend, weaker than the Vampire on the fourteenth floor of the Necropolis of the Gods.
If Jason were to go all out now, he might not even be able to finish her in three moves. However, considering the opponent's speed, it wouldn't be good if it turned into a fight to the death. Jason prioritizes ensuring Monica's safety.
"You, die!!!" O'Gavin's two clones attacked side by side, clearly disregarding everything.
With no worries about the future, Jason immediately created two clones: Water Element and the other main body, each wielding the Mystic Ice Sword; the remaining three clones held the Blood Blade and the Holy Bible.
With just one misstep, the completely frenzied O'Gavin plummeted straight to the ground.
If he plays it safe, he can exchange a few blows with Jason, especially since he's fast in a straight line. Even at the cost of losing a clone, he could escape like that Vampire in the Necropolis of the Gods.
Unfortunately, O'Gavin, who had risked his life entirely, only managed to cause Jason's internal organs to tremble slightly.
