The dust has settled; Dragonblood Castle has ultimately held its ground.
All Four Ultimate Warrior Clans are here. Previously, O'Gavin had already begun to subdue the entire Four Way Territories Territory, also known as the Chaotic Territory. The territories of the other three families have already fallen. Because Linley, Olivier, and other Deity-level beings are here, Dragonblood Castle was left until last.
O'Gavin actually hoped that Linley would give up and abandon the trip. He wasn't afraid of Linley and his group, but rather wanted to test Beirut's opinion.
After all, the Dark Forest lies to the north of the Four Way Territories, and the events in Fenlai City have made Beirut and Bebe's relationship more public than in the original story. Sparing Linley's life serves two purposes: first, to avoid making an enemy of Beirut, and second, since Jason is also a suspected Midgod, he doesn't want to create another mortal foe.
"You guys, if you really can't win, you can retreat. Why are you so stubborn?" Jason looked at Monica and Linley.
Monica looked aggrieved. "Three of the Four Way Territories have fallen. If we retreat again, they'll attack the Rhine Empire. We wanted to use your and Lord Beirut's names to negotiate, at least to stop their offensive, but we didn't expect them to launch an attack directly."
Jason stroked Monica's head, then turned to Linley and asked, "I told you we could borrow that Blood-colored Golem from the Rhine Empire if necessary, why didn't you use it?"
When Linley emerged from the Necropolis of the Gods, he was already close to breaking through to the Lowgod. Jason had told him then that if there was any danger, he should borrow the incomplete version of the Deathgod Golem from the Rhine Empire. If Lowgod controlled it, it should be able to fight against Midgod.
Linley lowered his head. "At the time, we wanted to negotiate first, not fight to the death, and we always felt that it was too impolite to use the Rhine Empire's most precious treasure to protect the Four Way Territories."
"You lot," Jason scolded, "These things are nothing in the Higher Planes. Our Rhine Clan's main business in the Netherworld is producing the raw materials for these Blood-colored Golem."
"Well--"
At that moment, Dylan, O'Brien, Catherine, and Cesar walked over.
Their respective forces have all been wiped out, and the remaining Saint-level have come here to take refuge because they have a good relationship with Linley.
The four men had complex expressions. Jason's killing of O'Gavin had already demonstrated strength far exceeding their own. In fact, Dylan had had the opportunity to participate in the battle earlier, but Jason did not let him intervene. Instead, he was tasked with protecting the civilians below from being affected.
Finally, Catherine spoke up, "Lord Jason, the situation on the continent is currently in crisis. Please take me in."
Jason didn't make things difficult for them. "You can stay in the Four Way Territories Territory. Of course, you'll also be responsible for guarding this place and deterring other Deity-level."
Jason looked at Tarosse beside him. "And you, sir, what are your plans?"
"I have nowhere to go either. I only have one friend, Dylan, on the mainland. It would be best if you would take me in," Tarosse said with a smile.
"Then stay."
Dragonblood Castle hosted a banquet to celebrate the return of the Deity-level.
At the banquet, Veronica, who had been staying in the Rhine Empire, was brought over.
"So, what did you find in the Necropolis of the Gods?"
As Veronica spoke, all eyes turned to her.
"I got the rewards from the fourteenth and fifteenth floors," Jason said casually.
Veronica didn't press the matter, and the people around her tactfully looked away.
After the banquet, Jason gathered together the Deity-level belonging to his faction.
This was Jason's first time meeting Olivier; he had completely forgotten about her before. Linley and Monica were on good terms with her, and Veronica had also met him at the Necropolis of the Gods.
His silver and black hair were mottled and intertwined, and his face carried an air of seven parts aloofness and three parts coldness.
Jason just saw that he was using two longswords, one black and one white, in the fight. It's possible that Jason took away the Mystic Ice Sword, and he was still using the weapon from the Saint-level era.
Noticing Jason's gaze, Monica introduced, "This is Olivier, who became a god at over a hundred years old. She's more talented than me! By the way, she has a special skill: she can fuse the Dark Divine Power. She's stronger than me."
Several previously unaware Deity-level beings turned their curious gazes toward it.
Olivier nodded. "I was seriously injured in a battle and was on the verge of death. After an unexpected recovery, I gained the ability to fuse the power of light and Elemental Darkness."
Jason said, "This is Soul Mutation. It usually happens when a soul suffers severe trauma and survives a near- Undying, with only a small chance of transformation. I've seen a Light Element Fire Element Soul Mutation in the Netherworld."
Olivier paused for a moment. "Are there many Soul Mutation like mine?"
Jason shook his head. "Not many. I've only seen one. I heard that Soul Mutation can not only Fused Divine Power, but also with the Profound Mysteries of different attributes, making its potential comparable to a top-tier divine beast."
Everyone was horrified.
"Don't try to imitate this. Although I haven't specifically investigated it, the number of Soul Mutation is indeed extremely rare. Deliberately imitating it can easily lead to death."
Jason changed the subject. "Alright, let's talk about something else. The plane is in chaos right now, survival is the most important thing. I'll give you all the Divine Artifact and Divine Spark I have."
"This set of mid -Darkness Element- Midgod Artifact and this set of high-tier Light Element- Highgod Artifact will be given to Olivier."
Jason felt a little guilty for taking the Olivier Mystic Ice Sword ahead of time, but since it was a water-attribute Mystic Ice Sword, it wasn't ideal for him. Before leaving, Delisha left Jason a few Highgod Artifact Divine Artifact spares. She had given the Darkness Element ones to Clear Spring, Light Element- attribute ones to Olivier. The set of Darkness Element- Midgod Artifact was something she had obtained from the Necropolis of the Gods.
"O'Gavin left Fire Element two mid- Light Element Midgod Artifact, one for O'Brien and one for Desri."
Compared to Olivier's Highgod Artifact, Jason is clearly biased, since Olivier is a more worthwhile investment than either of the other two.
Jason looked at his daughter. "This set of Wind Element- Highgod Artifact is for you." It was left behind by Delisha years ago, and no one has used it until now.
"Hehe," Monica giggled, "I specially crafted a weapon to suit me, so I'll give this spear to Delia."
"Do with it as you please," Jason said indifferently. "There's also a mid-level Wind Element defensive Midgod Artifact set; give it to Linley."
Finally Jason also seized four sets of Highgod Artifact from the Necropolis of the Gods: the Life, Fate, Destruction, and Water Element. He kept the Fate set for himself; gave the Destruction set to Dylan; the Life set to the High Priest; and the Water Element set to Tarosse.
Jason wasn't too stingy with these Divine Artifact, since he already had Divine Artifact; and for his two avatars currently in the Netherworld, these were just small change.
Most importantly, there were a few people present who were worth befriending.
Linley certainly has unlimited potential; at the very least, he'll be at the Prefect-level. Olivier will at least become Seven Star Fiend in the future. Dylan and Tarosse can at least cultivate to Five-Star Fiend, with Six-Star Fiend in sight. As for the others, they'll just benefit from the success of these few.
"Next are the Divine Spark. O'Gavin left behind Fire Element Intermediate Godhead, give it to O'Brien; Dylan has a son who refined Lowgod Spark, give him these two mid-level and high-level destruction Divine Spark; also, Catherine, you seem to be refining Mid Godhead, this Life Highgod Spark is for you; and the death Divine Spark, also two, a mid-level and a high-level one, are for Linda."
Jason's generosity made those around him a little uncomfortable, especially his High Godhead, something they had never dared to imagine before.
"You've struck it rich!" Veronica stomped on Jason's foot under the table.
"These things are nothing in the Higher Planes," Jason said indifferently.
Veronica transmitted her thoughts telepathically. "Aren't you afraid that you won't be able to control them as they refine the High Godhead? Or are you also refining High Godhead?"
Jason smiled slightly, "You underestimate me."
At this moment Dylan and Catherine realized what was happening and quickly declared, "My lord, we are willing to serve you for life."
Even if they were extremely proud, they were unwilling to give up their High Godhead. They knew that if they missed this opportunity, they might never have another chance.
"Whatever." Jason waved his hand. Seeing that everyone seemed a little flattered, he still felt he needed to explain, "The Deity-level in the Higher Planes is more than you imagine. In the Netherworld, even mid-level and Lowgod cannot survive alone and need to rely on the protection of Highgod."
However, the Deity-level who have actually Refine Divine Spark is very low in the Higher Planes. Even Midgod Refine Divine Spark their divine sparks are not as high as Lowgod who have broken through on their own. Only those who refine High Godhead will have a slight status. "If you hadn't already begun Refine Divine Spark, I wouldn't have given you Divine Spark, because that would have cut off your future."
Well, Jason felt that the others still didn't understand, but Jason didn't care.
With over thirty drops of Sovereign’s Might in his possession, Jason wasn't afraid to flaunt his wealth.
"Alright, you all can focus on your cultivation for now. Linley, you stay behind."
