The three took their seats, while the other Deity-level stood by.
Jason had Tarosse Dylan up, and Jason also called up five Lowgod: Linley, Bebe, Monica, Clear Spring, and Olivier, since it was his home turf and he couldn't let them steal the spotlight.
"What brings you here, esteemed guests?" Jason asked calmly as the maids served tea.
Bluefire stepped forward and said, "To my shame, I have cultivated to the Highgod, yet I have never been to the Higher Planes. I heard that you come from a prominent family in the Netherworld, so I have come to inquire about the situation in the Higher Planes."
"You flatter me, Bluefire. Our Rhine Clan is merely a small family in a remote town in the Netherworld. On the other hand, Bluefire and Adkins, your strength is top-tier even in the Netherworld."
Needless to say, Bluefire is also a formidable opponent, and Adkins should possess the strength of a five- or six-star Fiend, placing him firmly among the ranks of experts.
Adkins, however, was anything but modest. "May I ask, how many powerful figures like Lord Bluefire are there in the Netherworld?"
Jason hesitated for a moment. He knew that Bluefire's current strength was between the peak of the Seven Star Fiend and the Asura, but he did not want to reveal that he knew about the original story.
"Hmm," Jason pondered for a moment, "I'll just go straight to the classification of the Deity-level in the Netherworld."
"First, the Netherworld consists of a continent and an ocean surrounding it, ruled by seven Sovereign. The Netherworld Continent is divided into 81 prefectures, each with a prefectural lord; each prefecture is further divided into twenty cities, each with a city lord—"
Jason spoke at length, and not only did the six guests listen quietly, but Dylan and the others listened intently.
After Jason finished speaking, Bluefire asked, "Only those who have fully integrated the five Profound Mysteries possess the strength of the Asura? And the Lord of the Palace must be even stronger than the Asura?"
"If a divine beast possesses exceptional talent, it might be weaker in terms of laws; as for the Lord of the Palace, he is definitely one of the best among the Asura. Many Asura can only temporarily hold the position of City Lord due to their relatively weak strength, and some powerful Lords are even Sovereign's Emissary, possessing Sovereign Artifact."
"It seems your status in the Netherworld is quite high, given how much you know." Adkins seemed to be implying something.
"I'm ashamed to say that my two avatars in the Netherworld are also Midgod, but I know more about them because my family patriarch is quite powerful, and my family has a cooperative relationship with the city lord of Falling Rain City."
Bluefire asked, "What level of Fiend are you, the Fiend you just mentioned?"
"I'm currently working on the quest to advance to Three-Star Fiend, and I haven't finished it yet."
Bluefire and Adkins nodded in agreement, having gained a general understanding of the overall strength of the Netherworld.
Adkins posed a very sensitive question, "Do you know what level of power His Excellency Beirut possesses?"
Jason did not answer directly, "I've heard that Lord Beirut mainly operates in the Infernal Realm, and I've never heard of him in the Netherworld. However, to be favored by the Sovereign and guard the Necropolis of the Gods, he must be exceptionally talented."
Bluefire also asked, "Besides the Necropolis of the Gods, what other good way is there to meet the Sovereign and become his Sovereign's Emissary?"
Jason shook his head. "I'm just a Midgod, so I don't know much. However, the lord of the Northbone Prefecture, where our Rhine Clan resides, is a Sovereign's Emissary, so perhaps he knows."
Bluefire nodded and pressed on, "What was that metal machine I saw you studying in the yard just now?"
"That's called the Deathgod Golem; it's a creation of formations and alchemy. The one we just saw was of medium quality; at its peak, it should have the strength of Four Star Fiend. My clan patriarch left one for me before he left."
Adkins raised an eyebrow. "Your family has quite a history."
Jason chuckled, "For Deity-level family, as long as they have enough strong individuals, the rest is just a matter of time."
"What is the strength of your clan leader?" Adkins pressed.
"Equivalent to Six-Star Fiend, but she hasn't raised herself to the corresponding Fiend level."
Previously, one of Adkins's men was killed by Jason, and after weighing the options, he ultimately decided to swallow his anger.
His assessment of the cost of descending from the Higher Planes was somewhat flawed. After all, there had already been two large -Deity-level descent events on the Yulan Continent in the past ten thousand years. In the eyes of the powerful on the Yulan Continent, the descent of gods did not seem to be very difficult.
Bluefire suddenly thought of something, "A Highgod has appeared within the territory of the Yulan Empire. Do you have any information about this powerful being?"
Jason shook his head. "No, I also deduced from some information that there should be a Highgod there. However, a Highgod god who can lead a large number of other Deity-level to descend usually has the strength of Six-Star Fiend or above, or has a very powerful background."
Adkins scrutinized Jason closely. "You really are Midgod. I thought you were deliberately hiding it."
A brief silence fell over the hall.
Bluefire took out a crystal ball. "This is a Floating Shadow I obtained by chance. It concerns Lord Jason. May I ask, what secret technique did you use to possess such power?"
Jason's divine sense swept over it, and it was Floating Shadow of Jason fighting against the "God of Yellow Sand" in Fenlai City back then.
"I'm sorry, that's a top secret of our family. If you two are interested, you can explore it when you reach the Higher Planes." Jason, of course, didn't answer.
With Bluefire's strength, he should be able to sense the aura of the Sovereign’s Might at the deepest level of his divine consciousness. However, the Floating Shadow is just a fragment of a picture, and no matter how strong Bluefire is, he cannot detect the similarity of the aura from the image.
Silence again.
Jason broke the awkward silence. "Speaking of Floating Shadow, would any of you be interested in seeing my collection of Floating Shadow?"
"Is it Battle Projection?"
"Yes, the Floating Shadow of battles between the strong are partly left behind by my clan patriarch, and partly rewards I received for conquering the Necropolis of the Gods."
Jason replicated three copies of these Floating Shadow: one in Bloodshadow Valley, one in Dragonblood Castle, and one Jason kept for himself.
Entering a stone cave, the surrounding walls are reinforced with precious metals from the mainland, and various Floating Shadow are arranged in a row in the expanded cave.
"These Saint-level- level Floating Shadow were collected by our descendants over the years. Let's move in."
Observing the Floating Shadow doesn't mean the stronger the target character, the better. Many Saint-level can barely watch the battles of some Lowgod. Therefore, the Four Ultimate Warrior Clans have also collected some Saint-level- level Battle Projection and placed them on the outer layer.
Only by delving deeper can we find the part that Jason gave us.
"The powerful figures in these Floating Shadow are truly formidable," Adkins remarked.
The batch left behind by Delisha came from a powerful figure suspected to be Prefect-level expert, while Jason obtained the artifacts from the Necropolis of the Gods, which were likely from Beirut's collection. The clarity and content of these Floating Shadow are naturally top-tier.
"These dozen or so images on this side were left behind by our clan leader; they are all Battle Projection of top-tier Highgod. These ninety-eight on this side were obtained from the Necropolis of the Gods; their quality is much better than the Floating Shadow in our clan's collection. You are welcome to look at them freely, but please note that if you gain any insights, you must leave this place beforehand. These Floating Shadow are very precious even in the Netherworld, and they are also very fragile."
Jason actually obtained one hundred Floating Shadow from the Necropolis of the Gods, and Jason analyzed that two of them were precious images of the Sovereign's actions, so he kept them instead of putting them here.
"Thank you, Your Excellency." "Thank you, Your Excellency." The six people from both sides expressed their gratitude one after another.
The group naturally realized the value of the Floating Shadow, and their attitudes changed considerably. Even Adkins respectfully thanked them.
Jason led Tarosse Dylan out of the cave. Linley and the others had been waiting outside, but this time Shelley and Muba were also there.
Shelley asked in a low voice, "Lord Jason, is that Azure Fire King really inside?"
"It should be him. Adkins has no reason to lie with him." Jason seemed quite relaxed.
"That Lord Bluefire is the strongest of the five kings, and you could even say he's the strongest being in the Gebados Plane! Lord Jason, you must be careful," Shelley warned solemnly.
Dylan, who was standing next to him, nodded. He had previously used his divine sense to tell Jason how terrifying the Bluefire was.
Jason nodded. "I can sense that this Azure Fire King is very strong, but I'm confident I can reach his level in the future."
His calm tone startled those around him.
Jason then changed the subject. "You lot, don't underestimate yourselves. Those who can autonomously become gods in the Material Plane are all chosen ones. You can acknowledge your current weakness, but you cannot lose your determination to move forward!"
