Compared to Anne's fussiness, Hermione was much less particular.

Her cat, Bobosha, eats the same Bobocha, so William always buys double portions of cat food.

Hermione wandered around the room, her gaze soon drawn to a cat in the corner.

It was a large cat with thick, fluffy ginger-yellow fur, but its legs were slightly bent, giving it a grumpy appearance. Its face, like a flattened persimmon, made it look even more ferocious and ugly.

It also has a thick, bushy tail that sticks up like a bottle brush.

Judging by appearance alone, it looks a lot like the famous "Ao Bai Cat".

Not far from it, three ferocious meerkats lurked.

They were very cute; compared to the ginger cat, they could even be described as "handsome and refined."

The four animals seemed to be at odds. The big yellow cat impatiently pulled up its ears and hissed in a menacing voice.

Behind the big yellow cat, there was a small Teddy that growled at the "mongooses" a few times with a defiant look on its face.

Seeing the boss baring its teeth, Teddy wagged its tail and barked even louder, displaying an arrogant "dog relying on cat's power" attitude.

Is this Tairitian the son of the big yellow cat?

For a fleeting moment, William had this thought.

"No, Lab!" the witch cried. "Back off, Crookshanks!"

We still don't know what Teddy did to the meerkats that day.

But the meerkats, provoked by Tairitian, had already charged forward in anger.

The meerkat Lab Laboon was the first to leap from the table and pounce on Crookshanks.

Crookshanks leaped away, dodging the attack, and at the same time, slapped Lab.

It slapped it with its paw.

Bang!

Lab had just jumped up from the long table when he was pulled back down, knocking over the cage and cat toy on the table in the process.

As it glided, it bumped into the fat rabbit. The rabbit's paw twitched twice; it could have been saved, but now it was completely still.

Crookshanks was attacked by two other meerkats, one biting its hind leg and the other grabbing its head.

Crookshanks roared and leaped to a corner. On one side of the corner stood a two-meter-tall cabinet, some distance from the wall.

Crookshanks suddenly accelerated and rushed towards the corner.

It leaped over, touched the wall, quickly changed angle, pushed off with its hind legs, used the wall as a support point, landed on the side of the cabinet, and then used that support to turn and leap back towards the wall.

This process was repeated several times, and finally it landed steadily on top of the cabinet, which was more than two meters high.

Holy crap! This cat can even do Wudang's Cloud Ladder... oops, I mean parkour!!

This technique of repeatedly jumping between the two walls to reach the highest point is a common skill in parkour.

This cat is sentient!

Crookshanks leaped off the cabinet with tremendous force, knocking out a meerkat in a crow-like motion, then swung its tail like a whale, knocking over another meerkat.

A triple kill in an instant!

Teddy got excited, straightened up, and seemed to want to give Crookshanks a "loving hug" from behind.

The big yellow cat delivered a powerful back kick, sending Tairitian flying.

Hermione stared at the cat, her eyes sparkling. "Crookshanks... a very beautiful cat, isn't it, William?"

"Hmm... hmm?" William narrowed his eyes.

Doesn't Hermione feel guilty saying such things?

"You want it?" William asked.

"Yes... my birthday is coming up soon."

"But you already have a Bobosha."

"But Bobosha is still young and needs a reliable big cat to protect her so she won't always be bullied by Pineapple Head." Hermione glanced at Anne.

Anne paled. She compared the size of the cat to that of her own Pineapple Head cat.

They're not even in the same order of magnitude.

"And it's just two cats!" Hermione said.

"We also captured three Matagot at the French Ministry of Magic," William reminded them.

"That's not much..."

"Hermione, that's a dangerous idea," William said helplessly. "If this continues, we'll soon have a whole bunch of cats in our house!"

"Anyway, our house is big!" Hermione said nonchalantly.

"You could totally get another Crookshanks. It looks a bit strange, so nobody would buy it. It might have been living in the pet store for quite a while already."

So pitiful..."

Hermione turned to look at William, blinked her slightly resentful eyes, and gave him a playful look that said she wouldn't leave until he bought something today.

Anne rolled her eyes. When Hermione showed this "limited edition JPG state," her brother was bound to lose!

Sure enough, William surrendered, saying, "Buy!"

Anne slapped her forehead. This time, she couldn't even last five seconds. Having a brother like this was truly shameful.

He might as well become a complete scumbag.

Anne's eyes darted around, and she mimicked Hermione's coquettish tone, saying, "Brother, my flying broom broke. Can you buy me a new one?"

Don't buy expensive ones that are hard to maintain... Just get the latest version of the Firebolt.

William casually refused, "I won't buy it."

"But..."

"Use mine!" Hermione chimed in. "And it's a new book, too."

Anne rolled her eyes dramatically.

When Hermione made a face at her, Anne was so angry her stomach hurt, but she still tried to put on a disdainful expression, as if she wouldn't argue with the two of them being so stingy and petty.

When they left the Magical Menagerie, Hermione was already holding the ginger Crookshanks.

"Hermione better watch out for your Crookshanks!" Anne threatened softly. "I can't guarantee Dahei won't bite it."

Although Crookshanks is fierce, it's still tens of thousands Bobocha than a dog like Dahei that can fight Werewolf.

"But you can't take your Dahei to the castle," Hermione said, lifting her pointed chin with a smile. "You can only leave it with Hagrid."

"..."

The Hogwarts acceptance letter clearly states that students may bring an owl, a cat, or a toad... but the types of pets are not actually that strict.

For example, Ron and Percy raised Scabbers the mouse, Qiu raised rabbits, and the twins raised Niffler.

Large dogs like Dahei are definitely prohibited from entering.

Is Dahei dangerous?

Of course it's dangerous... and I don't like large dogs on leashes.

But compared to Newt's various Fantastic Beasts; Hagrid's Acromantula; Slytherin's Basilisk; William's Dementor... Dahei is as docile as a cup of Bobocha.

The problem is that none of the animals are in the open; they all hide very well. But Dahei needs to be walked around and allowed to roam freely.

So they could only leave it with Hagrid for the time being, to live with Fluffy for a while. The group would occasionally visit it in the Forbidden Forest.

William is certain that Dahei will like Fluffy! Or rather, Fluffy will force Dahei to like him!

"Draco, it's them! They just bullied me!"

The three were walking when a familiar voice called out from afar.

"So, you few are bullying Astoria... How arrogant... Don't you even know... My father is..."

William and the other two turned around.

Malfoy's voice suddenly faltered; if there had been background music at that moment, he would probably have sounded completely off-key from the pain.

"Oh, Malfoy, what is it?" William glanced at Astoria and smiled amusedly.

"It's nothing, just mistaken identity!" Malfoy forced a smile, his face flushed. "You're back from France, huh? You didn't even say so, haha... Goodbye!"

Malfoy turned and ran. His two henchmen, Goyle and Crabbe, followed him.

Malfoy ran for about ten meters, then turned back and pulled Astoria was petrified in the distance, along with him.

William called out from behind, "Pansy, what are you doing here?"

Malfoy stumbled and nearly fell flat on his face.

Oh, poor little Pansy, first she was cheated on by Harry, and now she's about to be cheated on by Astoria.

As expected of Slytherin, it's practically green to the point of being purplish.
