Scabbers's Amortentia Tonic
We've been waiting and waiting, and now the east wind is blowing, signaling the start of the new school year.
If school doesn't start soon, William will almost forget that he's hiding his student identity.
There was no way around it; William had spent such a thrilling and exciting summer in France that he felt like he was in another world.
When Cregan finally left France, he saw him off and invited William and Hermione to stay as Auror and finish their studies in Beauxbatons.
William almost couldn't resist agreeing.
After all, that kind of life isn't bad. If he graduates, William really does plan to work part-time at the French Ministry of Magic for a while.
Hogwarts officially opened on September 1st.
William and Anne, who had already returned home, were driven by Roy to King's Cross Station.
After reuniting with Hermione, the three of them made their way to Platform 9 without any major incidents. But this tranquility was immediately shattered.
Suddenly, someone yelled, and a group of students swarmed William, Hermione, and Anne like madmen, completely surrounding them, as if they were visiting Niffler in a zoo.
The three were somewhat bewildered; even when William received the Order of Merlin, there wasn't such a spectacle.
Sure enough, foreign medals are rounder, and France medals are whiter.
Soon, a Dungbomb was thrown from somewhere. Then came the Filibuster Fireworks.
William immediately grabbed Hermione and Anne and slipped away quietly amidst the chaos, thus escaping the frenzied crowd that was chasing them.
Fred waved from a distance, and the three of them rushed over.
"Hey William, long time no see!" George whistled. "Are you this popular in France too?"
"Of course, but we were surrounded by a large number of Auror."
"Cool!" Fred laughed. "I was even thinking of asking you for your autographs!"
George said with a big smile, "It's going to sell really well. Even at ten Sickle a sheet, the students will go crazy buying them."
"What's wrong? Someone's already setting their sights on me?"
William hugged the two men and asked, "Let me guess, could it be Lee?"
The twins exchanged a glance, and Fred nodded, saying, "I knew I couldn't hide it from you. That's right, Lee's practically gone crazy for money. Those answer keys aren't enough for him anymore; he'll definitely be coming to you to buy autographed photos wholesale."
Wholesale autographed photos... Do they really think he's Lockhart?
How were you two doing in Egypt?
"To be honest, it was so-so. The sandstorms were so bad they almost turned me into a sand sculpture," George said.
Fred complained, "Without any warning, one second the sky is a clear blue, and the next second you can hear the windows banging violently."
When we rushed out, all the clothes and sheets hanging outside, along with the hangers, were gone. They vanished in an instant; I didn't even see a trace of them."
"If I go to Egypt, I'll definitely keep an eye out!" William couldn't help but laugh.
"Yes, but the pyramids are really impressive," George said.
"Those are relics left behind by ancient sorcerers," William said longingly.
He suddenly remembered Arya, the woman who spoke ancient Egypt and had likely been to Egypt. Perhaps she was in Egypt right now.
"Cleopatra VII's tomb was recently discovered there, and we followed Bill into the outer area, but we didn't see anything," Fred said regretfully.
George said, "I was also wondering if I could find a few magical items in her tomb."
Cleopatra VII... the last female pharaoh of the Ptolemaic Dynasty of ancient Egypt, also Egypt's Beautiful Queen as Cleopatra!
William then greeted Mr. Weasley. and Mrs. Weasley.
Soon, he saw Percy.
Percy walked quickly over and solemnly extended his hand, as if he and William had never met before.
Fred shook hands with Percy first, giving him a chivalrous salute. "Let's welcome His Highness, the world's number one male student council president!"
George made a gesture of drawing a sword out of thin air and solemnly said:
"The Order of Merlin pay their respects, Your Highness!"
Percy yelled, impatiently shoving the two goofing figures aside, and shook hands with William.
"William, ignore them, it's good to see you."
"Hello, Percy," William said with a smile. "Congratulations on becoming the president of the boys' council."
Percy straightened his back, the silver chairman's badge Winky in the sunlight.
"... Not bad, right? Because of what happened with Ron last year, I thought I had no hope... Maybe it's because I'm considered quite good, which gave me a lot of extra points."
Percy flicked the badge on his chest and said enviously, "Of course, you'll definitely become the student council president someday."
This is nothing compared to the Order of Merlin and the Medal of Valor.
William, you should wear them around your neck, in the most conspicuous place.
Percy glanced around and asked, "I don't see the badge anywhere."
"I left it at home," William said quickly.
"Oh." Percy was a little disappointed. He had just washed his hands and was hoping to touch William's trophy.
Percy then shared some more tips on being a student council president before leaving, his gleaming badge still on his head.
"Percy lately has been a disaster," Fred said in a low voice. "You weren't there last night, so you wouldn't know what happened."
George gloated, "Ron and Percy started fighting."
"Why?" William asked, puzzled.
Last night, the tonic Ron bought for Scabbers went missing, and Percy's chairman's badge that he put on the bedside table is also nowhere to be found.
The two started arguing about it.
"Did you two take that?" William asked.
"Of course not." Fred smiled.
"Ron probably lost it by accident," George explained.
"We stayed at the Leaky Cauldron last night. Ron and Percy shared a room. Ron left all his things on Percy's bed without tidying up, and Percy complained to his mother."
Then, Mom asked Ron to tidy up Percy's bed.
You know he's clumsy, and probably not happy about it either, so he accidentally knocked off Percy's precious badge and Scabbers ' tonic.
Fred continued, "We found the badge and the tonic at the door and returned them."
"That's all?" William squinted.
"Of course not, we made some changes." George winked smugly. "Very minor changes."
"We changed ' Head Boy ' on Percy's badge to 'Unbelievably Big Head'," Fred said.
"Anyway, the abbreviations are all HB, so there's no difference."
Didn't Percy find it?
"Percy only found out this morning. He said Ron climbed into his bed in the middle of the night and did it, and the two of them got into a fight," George said.
"You two," William sighed helplessly, "There must be more than that, right?"
"Ah, of course," Fred laughed. "We added some fun little ingredients to Scabbers ' tonic..."
"Amortentia," George whispered.
"... Whose hair did you let out?" William asked.
"I originally wanted to let Fluffy go, but I was afraid he'd eat Scabbers, so I let Fluffy Niffler instead."
(Scabbers: I may not be human, but you guys are definitely dogs!)
Wait a minute... William also has a new idea.
If it works well, you can put Dahei hair into the Amortentia and feed it to Fang.
Upon returning to London, William had already contacted a hospital to have the black dog permanently neutered.
But before anything could be done, it inexplicably ran away from home for two days and two nights before finally returning.
Then, Anne forbade William from laying a hand on Dahei. She acted as if William was bullying her dog.
William is so innocent! And he even got Dahei, yet he still dared to run away from home without a word.
William plans to give Dahei and Fang a little Amortentia, then lock them up together so Fang can "train" Dahei!
Just then, a commotion suddenly arose nearby.
Hermione and Anne were chatting with Ginny when Crookshanks, whom Hermione was holding, broke free and rushed towards Ron.
"No! Crookshanks, no!" Hermione cried out.
The Scabbers slipped from Ron's hand like a bar of soap, and fled wildly.
Crookshanks followed closely behind.
What a scene of Xiao He chasing Jerry under the moon... Pshaw, it 'Tom chasing Jerry at the train station!
