You Smell of Thunderbird
Lockhart was arguably the unluckiest professor.
He was a recipient of the Order of Merlin, a bestselling author, and had female fans all over England, making him a veritable witch killer among middle-aged and elderly women.
He even has fans in the United States, truly achieving both fame and fortune—a winner in life.
But he was too greedy. He thought he could spend a year or two at Hogwarts, get some experience, make a quick buck, and then leave gracefully.
There's no way he'd get away so easily. Dumbledore's scheme doesn't mean he'd leave unscathed.
So his greed backfired, his life was ruined by the diary, and now he's possessed by Tom, following Quirrell's path and going to United States.
I wonder if he's still alive.
If he were still alive, he'd probably be possessed by Tang Bohu, kneeling on the ground, wand in hand, tapping a broken porcelain bowl, and singing:
I live on the outskirts of London.
They have a house and money.
Life is full of joy.
Who knew that Riddle,
He was ruthless and merciless.
Colluding with the principal, showing no regard for the law,
"Take my body and steal my money!"
Lockhart's tragic fate did not prevent William from exploiting his remaining value.
For example, those best-selling books.
Everyone knows Lockhart is a fraud, so his books are worthless.
The students at Hogwarts each had seven copies. William would buy them back at the price of scrap paper and then sell them to the Centaur Tribe the price of genuine copies.
If they could even capture a witch, how could these Centaur, who had never seen the outside world, be immune to temptation?
The girl in front of me, named Fire Kiss, looks rather silly; she's clearly a naive young girl.
No, this isn't a lie... it's William letting her experience the harsh realities of society beforehand, so she'll learn her lesson.
Fire Kiss was taken aback as he watched William promote his books.
Besides selling alchemical items and Muggle products, William unexpectedly also sells rare magic books.
"Did you become stronger using these books?" Fire Kiss asked excitedly.
"Yeah, let me tell you, you don't learn much at Hogwarts. I'm entirely self-taught, guided by these books," William said, trying to convince me.
Fire Kiss's eyes sparkled as she asked, "What kinds of books are there?"
"Please see this book; it explains how to deal with Troll. There is more than one Troll tribe in the Forbidden Forest."
William pulled out the book "Travels with Trolls".
Fire Kiss shook his head. "The Troll is too weak. It shot two arrows at once, aiming for both eyes. I can hit it every time from 800 miles away."
Then he drew his greatsword, swung it down, and crack, their heads were smashed to pieces.
Fire Kiss mimed swinging a sword, looking quite experienced.
"Then this one—'The Twilight Wolf of Wall Street '."
"There are wolf cubs deep in the Forbidden Forest. They were born to a Werewolf couple. They're so cute, we're friends."
This book, "A Step-by-Step Guide to Getting Rid of Pests,"
"Ah! How did you know I'm best at dealing with bugs!" Fire Kiss shook its head happily.
"Once, a Billywig tried to bite me, but I grabbed its wing."
Fire Kiss mimed catching an insect and putting it in his mouth, a satisfied expression on his face.
She recalled the taste, "It was delicious... crunchy, and every bite was bursting with juice..."
Hermione and Anne stared in shock at the Centaur woman. This was too ferocious!
"Anything else?" Fire Kiss asked again. "Any other powerful spellbooks!"
"... What do you want to deal with?" William rephrased.
"Hmm, that Thunderbird!"
"We don't have this one... Please find another one."
"To deal with the Chimaera Beast."
"No..."
"To deal with the Quintaped."
"Without!"
"Dealing with the Phoenix."
"Fine... I won't sell it anymore, you can go." William put away the book, feeling somewhat hurt in his pride.
If the other party were to ask again to deal with Dumbledore, William would not be able to help but be suspicious:
She had just finished reading the chapter in "Water Margin" Commander Lu went to Butcher Zheng to buy meat sauce, and she came specifically to tease him.
The plan is cancelled!
It seems the Centaur girl isn't so easily fooled.
"Wait a minute, you can sell me this book, ' Kissing Goodbye to Dementor.' The Dementor recently searched the Forbidden Forest, and I don't know how to deal with them."
Did the Dementor search the Forbidden Forest?
It seems they've intensified their efforts to capture Sirius, even starting to search the Forbidden Forest.
I wonder how Dahei and Fluffy are doing.
Fire Kiss bought a book and a ring, and then she spent all her gold.
That's so expensive!
Centaur don't use money, Fire Kiss usually doesn't feel anything, but now that she's suddenly trading with William, she realizes how poor she is.
She glanced at the huge pile of Galleon, all of which belonged to Ronan and his friends, but she didn't have a single one.
This is so annoying.
Is there a simple and quick way for her to earn a lot of Galleon overnight?
I wonder if this little wizard in front of me even knows that!
"Oh, by the way, could you sell me that wind chime? I've never seen the sea before." Fire Kiss hesitated for a moment, then said awkwardly, "But I'm out of money, I'd like to buy it on credit..."
"This?" Anne took down the wind chime and handed it to Fire Kiss, saying generously, "It's for you!"
"You're so kind; it's rare to find a good person among wizards."
Fire Kiss glanced at William, then stepped forward and hugged Anne. His enormous chest almost suffocated Anne.
"Hey, you smell like Thunderbird." Fire Kiss sniffed hard at Anne's neck.
"It might be my wand; the core is Thunderbird's tail feather," Anne hurriedly replied.
"Really?" Fire Kiss didn't seem to care much.
Her eyes darted around, glancing at the Acromantula pulling the carriage, and she asked, "Where are you going? Can I come along?"
"No," William refused outright. "We're going to the territory of the Acromantula."
"Ah, the territory of the Acromantula?" Fire Kiss exclaimed. "We Centaur never go near there. Didn't they attack Hogwarts just a few months ago?"
I understand. You're definitely going to wipe them out. Can I come along and help?
William ignored the impetuous young Centaur and got back into the carriage.
"Take me there." Fire Kiss stood in front of the carriage.
"Answer me one question, and if you answer correctly, I'll take you there." William stood on the carriage, looking down at Fire Kiss.
"You say!"
"Which star is bright tonight?" William asked with a smile.
He felt a little out of sorts when he didn't hear the Centaur say, "Tonight's xx was oo".
"It's daytime now," Fire Kiss rolled her eyes.
"Then wait until tonight. Once you know the answer, come and tell me, and I'll take you to the territory of the Acromantula."
William flicked the reins, spurring the horse sideways and bypassing her.
Fire Kiss was trying to sneak behind the carriage when she stepped on a trap.
Several strands of silk from the Acromantula spider hung down, suspending her upside down from the tree.
Fire Kiss glanced out of the corner of her eye and saw the teardrop-shaped beast she had accidentally broken hanging to her side.
A line of words was carved on the tree trunk:
It's yours.
Go home quickly!
Fire Kiss drew his short sword, slashed the spider silk fiercely, and fell from the tree.
She looked up, but the carriage had already disappeared from sight.
Fire Kiss wrapped the string of wind chimes around its fiery red tail, then stomped its hooves angrily.
Wind chimes
Ding-dong
Ding-dong,
It made a crisp sound.
