After three years of progress, a demon-beast tide drew Shi Jian and the Sun Clan’s forces to Cangshi Valley for a regional defense.

• Shi Jian killed the Lin and Ye attackers, then helped Sun Hangchun seize their clans’ resources and bind their people to the Sun Clan.
• Shi Jian replaced Sun Hangchun with Sun Bo'an, who led the third branch in killing the first and second branches and took control of the Sun Clan under Shi Jian’s direction.
• Shi Jian strengthened the clan, awakened Demon Beast dogs for Sun Mao and Sun Yao, and broke through to the Foundation Establishment Middle Stage as Devil Cultivators began threatening the region.

• When White Cloud Temple summoned the nine counties to defend against a demon-beast tide, Shi Jian led the Sun Clan’s forces to Cangshi Valley, where guards challenged their arrival.

Shi Jian guides the Sun Clan through a beast tide, political upheaval, and the rise of a new Golden Core authority while expanding the clan’s strength and influence. The stretch ends with Sun Mao securing a Thunder Essence Fruit Tree for the clan’s plans to strengthen its Demon Beasts.

• Shi Jian protected the Sun Clan during the beast tide and helped lead the mountain-clearing campaign, gathering treasures and rescuing more than a hundred bear cubs.
• After Zhao Qing died fighting a giant ape, Shi Jian returned to Hongtian City with the clan and ordered it to rebuild its vassal network while he raised three cubs as the founders of a bear clan.
• Shi Jian entered seclusion as Sun Bo'an strengthened the clan, recruited guest elders, and kept it neutral amid White Cloud Commandery’s factional conflicts.
• When Rogue Cultivators attacked Hongtian City, Shi Jian defeated their leaders and forced Jiao Lei to reveal Yan Qiu’s plot to weaken the commandery for the Fenghe Sect.
• Yun Du formed a flawless Golden Core, then punished rival clans and rewarded the Sun Clan with a Foundation Establishment Pill and three rent-free storefronts.

Shi Jian cultivated lightning power in a storm-struck stone forest while the Sun Clan expanded its businesses, raised Sun Yao to Foundation Establishment, and prepared for the Kunyuan Secret Realm. After entering the realm, Shi Jian fought off an ambush and raced toward Sun Yao, who was surrounded by Devil Cultivators with Shi Pan badly wounded.

• Sun Mao opened the Autumn Cry shops and reported strong earnings, then returned home with the Dark Gold Ape bone fragments and Thunder Essence Fruit Tree.
• Sun Caiya planted the Thunder Essence Fruit Tree, while Shi Mo gained a bloodline mutation from the Dark Gold Ape bone fragment and formed an equal contract with Sun Mao.
• Hongtian City and the Sun Clan grew, and Shi Jian emerged from seclusion at Foundation Establishment Late Stage before sending Shi Mo to accompany Sun Mao.
• Shi Jian traveled with Sun Lin and Lord Rat to the Clear Wind Mountain Range, killed a Thunder Leopard, and claimed its lightning-charged stone forest as a cultivation site.
• Shi Jian endured heavenly lightning to seed Lightning Origin in his Demon Core, appointed Lei Huan as guardian of the stone forest, and later killed Blood Sha Sect cultivators without revealing their wider network to Sun Bo'an.
• Sun Yao reached Foundation Establishment, became True Person Yun Du’s personal disciple Qingyao, and was appointed an administrative elder, and the Sun Clan expanded its lightning cultivation resources as Shi Jian prepared to enter the Kunyuan Secret Realm.
• Shi Jian entered the Kunyuan Secret Realm, killed a demon lizard and two Heavenly Secret Pavilion cultivators, then followed Sun Yao’s signal as she and the wounded Shi Pan faced five Devil Cultivators.

Shi Jian gathered Heaven and Earth Qi and lightning resources, then returned to the Sun Clan to undergo Core Formation. As Yan Qiu’s forces attacked the clan, Shi Jian completed his transformation into a powerful Lightning Bear and joined Yun Du’s battle against Yan Qiu.

• Shi Jian defeated the wood demon in Gloomy Cloud Valley and claimed the New Wood Myriad Splendors Qi before Yun Che found him and Sun Yao unconscious.
• Shi Jian freed the Thunder Spirit Purple Firmament from its tower, then hunted lightning resources and cultivators to refine his bloodline and approach the Golden Core barrier.
• Shi Jian killed Shen Cang while rescuing Sun Yao, recovered the Heavenly One True Water Qi, and returned from the secret realm without Yun Che.
• Shi Jian distributed resources to the Sun Clan and his Demon Beast allies, then secluded himself to prepare for Core Formation as the clan developed its lightning pool and defenses.
• Masked cultivators killed Sun Bo'an and used his body as a puppet, while Yan Qiu’s forces infiltrated the commandery and attacked the Sun Clan during Shi Jian’s Core Formation.
• Sun Yao and the Demon Beasts fought the invaders as Shi Jian completed his Spiritual Qi Trial and faced the Purple Firmament Divine Lightning trial.
