After the Wei cultivators turned the invasion back, White Cloud Temple moved to seize Fenghe Sect’s holdings, and Shi Jian’s forces uncovered a likely treasury and Blessed Land in Yin Wind Valley.

• Zhao Yanshan prepared the Zhao Clan’s rise while Sun Mao spent its resources on offerings to Shi Jian, who gave him Blood Sha Sect contacts and ordered him to undermine Fenghe Commandery.
• Sun Mao’s covert raids helped isolate the Fenghe Sect, while Sun Chengzu killed a captured spy and White Cloud Temple’s recruitment ceremony brought in hundreds of disciples.

• Yun Tianfan died attempting Core Formation without Heaven and Earth Qi, and Sun Yao resolved to seek it in the Kunyuan Secret Realm.
