Background / History

Childhood and Academy Enrollment

Luo Fu grew up in Yellow Sand Town under Luo Feng’s care after both of their parents died. Luo Feng refused earlier academy offers rather than leave him behind, then waited until Luo Fu became a First Rank Warrior before taking him to Basil 4 21.

As a child, Luo Fu relied on his brother when Han Mu bullied him. Luo Feng encouraged him to become strong enough to defend himself, and Luo Fu eventually pushed himself through endurance training until he broke Han Mu’s record 2 3.

At Philipzi Warrior Academy’s entrance assessment, Luo Fu scored 742, earning an upper high aptitude rating. Tizi recruited both brothers, and Luo Fu was assigned to dormitory 201, separate from Luo Feng’s dormitory 311 7 8.

Academy Life and First Love

By sixteen, Luo Fu was a Fifth Rank Warrior known around the academy. He also faced harassment from Disi and his followers, who mocked his commoner background and his feelings for Feilin. Luo Fu believed Feilin would not accept him because she was a noble, based on what her roommate had told him 22.

Luo Feng comforted him and beat the students who continued insulting him. When his brother later announced another training journey, Luo Fu pleaded not to be left behind again. He eventually accepted Luo Feng’s promise to return once he reached the Eighth Rank 22 25.

After reaching that goal, Luo Fu graduated but stayed at the academy as an instructor because he feared Luo Feng would not find him elsewhere. He had waited four additional years by the time the brothers reunited after ten years apart 48.

Conflict with the Jax Family

During training in the Magical Beast Forest, Luo Fu helped a level-eight saber-toothed tiger kill two level-eight Velocidragons. The tiger signed a Master-Servant Contract with him, and the two developed a close bond over their subsequent journeys 47.

Masi of the Jax Family later attacked Luo Fu over a level-nine Crimson Water Serpent Emperor. Luo Fu was gravely injured, and the tiger died saving him. Its death drove him into punishing training until he reached the Ninth Rank, surpassing Masi’s peak Eighth Rank strength 47 48.

After Luo Feng returned, Luo Fu asked him to counter the Jax Family’s Saint Domain ancestor, Mackenzie, if necessary. He insisted on fighting Masi himself and sparing uninvolved family members. Luo Feng and Wa’ersi accompanied him to the family castle, where Luo Fu confronted Masi and demonstrated his superior swordsmanship 49 50.

Misty Villa and Marriage

While Luo Feng spent twenty years in the Necropolis of the Gods, Luo Fu recruited experienced mercenaries as Misty Villa’s guards. Many had originally gathered nearby to hear Luo Feng play the zither; Luo Fu offered them a secure livelihood and a place to cultivate 74.

During this period, Luo Fu fell in love with Bing Selin, the Ice Goddess Temple’s holy maiden. Although she returned his feelings, the temple considered his mid-stage Saint Domain strength insufficient. Luo Feng intervened after becoming a Deity-level expert, and Bing Selin agreed to the marriage 74 76 77.

Their wedding took place at Misty Villa six months after the arrangements began. Luo Feng supplied a divine artifact staff as the betrothal gift, and nobles and leading experts from across the continent attended. In 9870, Luo Fu and Bing Selin had a son, Luo Yu 77 80.

Protecting the Luo Clan

Following Luo Feng’s disappearance, Luo Fu chose to refine the Lowgod Divine Spark his brother had given him. He wanted to avenge Luo Feng and feared that Misty Villa would become vulnerable if the Radiant Church learned its protector was gone 83.

Luo Fu relocated Misty Villa to an island in the South Sea and cultivated with the intention of becoming strong enough to kill Hodan. The relocation inadvertently helped create the circumstances of Luo Feng’s escape from Gebados Prison. When the brothers reunited after more than a century, Luo Feng praised him for taking responsibility rather than criticizing his reliance on a Divine Spark 110 111.

As the clan expanded across several generations, Luo Fu oversaw its upbringing and promoted Luo Feng’s achievements among its descendants. Luo Feng explicitly left family management to him, explaining that his own ambitions lay in cultivation 111 124.

Luo Fu initially struggled with allowing Luo Yu to face dangerous trials, but accepted Luo Feng’s argument that their descendants needed experience beyond family protection. He later acknowledged the value of those trials after seeing his son’s progress 123 124.

Highgod Years

Luo Feng provided the Divine Sparks that allowed Luo Fu to advance through Midgod to Highgod, postponing his own departure from the Yulan Continent until Luo Fu could reach the latter realm 127 131.

Despite becoming a Highgod, Luo Fu repeatedly lost fights against Odin, whose Five-Star Fiend strength exceeded his own Four-Star Fiend level. Odin refrained from killing him because of warnings from Harry and his two brothers. When Luo Feng later proposed moving most of the Luo Clan to the Infernal Realm, Luo Fu eagerly agreed 175.

Appearance

  • Height: Approximately 1.95 meters as an adult, noticeably taller and more heavily built than Luo Feng 48.
  • Build and features: Burly, handsome, and resolute, with a rougher bearing than his elder brother 48.
  • Family resemblance: His face is described as roughly seventy to eighty percent similar to Luo Feng’s 21 111.
  • Later appearance: Still looks like a sturdy man in his thirties when Luo Feng returns after more than a century 111.

Personality

Luo Fu is deeply attached to his elder brother and openly emotional at their reunions. His desire to keep up with Luo Feng begins in childhood, when he resolves not to remain a burden, and later motivates him to protect the family during his brother’s absence 4 25 48 83.

His cultivation rests more on diligence than exceptional talent. He trains to exhaustion as a child and later pushes himself with near-self-torturing intensity after losing his magical beast companion. Although he fears disappointing Luo Feng by refining a Divine Spark, he chooses the family’s immediate safety over those expectations 3 47 111.

Luo Fu can become consumed by revenge, but he distinguishes his enemy from uninvolved people. Against the Jax Family, he rejects indiscriminate retaliation and asks to face Masi personally 48 49.
