Jiang He escaped the Corpse-Devouring Devil Arum after it swallowed Liu Lu, then set the underground plaza ablaze and fled with Wang Qian. Wang Qian drove the upgraded bus away while Jiang He watched for danger.

• The Corpse-Devouring Devil Arum bound Jiang He, Liu Lu, and Wang Qian, then singled out the emotionally volatile Liu Lu and swallowed her.
• After the vines released him, Jiang He freed Wang Qian and caught her as she fell.

• Jiang He appraised the damaged Devil Arum Stamen and learned that its charged self-destruction had wiped out the extraordinary creatures and their dropped items.
• Jiang He tried to kill the unconscious Liu Lu, but a small arum grew from Liu Lu’s severed neck, and his flames failed to stop the corpse from reassembling.
• Jiang He searched the battlefield for nearly an hour and learned that the explosion had destroyed all dropped items, though he had kept one intact stamen segment.
