Kakashi's True Face
Standing in the room and looking around, Koki couldn't help but nod in approval. Not bad, very efficient. The furniture was placed just right, and everything seemed so orderly.
However, a faint, indescribable smell permeated the room, perhaps the odor emanating from the new furniture, which made Koki feel slightly uncomfortable.
Koki approached the bedside and carefully helped Kakashi sit down. Kakashi leaned against the headboard with his eyes closed, looking as if he was in great pain.
Looking at Kakashi, Koki felt a surge of worry. He walked to the window, gently pushed it open, and let the fresh air into the room.
Then he sat down by the bed and asked softly, "Kakashi, are you alright? Do you really not need to take some medicine?"
Kakashi shook his head, looking very weak.
Seeing Koki felt anxious and uneasy. He took a deep breath and tried to make his voice sound calm, "Kakashi, let me get you some medicine. You're feeling too uncomfortable."
"Don't go!" Just as Koki got up and walked towards the door, Kakashi's voice rang out from behind her, his voice trembling slightly.
Koki turned around and saw that Kakashi had opened his eyes. His eyes shone with an indescribable vulnerability, like flower petals in the morning dew, fragile and endearing, as if they might break at any moment, making one want to protect him.
Seeing the vulnerability in Kakashi's eyes, Koki felt a strong urge to protect him well up inside her.
No matter how mature or powerful they are in this world, they are still just children at heart. Perhaps tonight was Kakashi's first time drinking, which is why he felt so unwell. Perhaps children don't like taking medicine, just like Itachi, which is why Kakashi kept resisting him getting his medicine.
Koki sat back down on the edge of the bed. "Alright then, I won't force you to take your medicine. Just sleep peacefully. I'll stay here with you." He then added with a smile, "You'd better fall asleep quickly, Obito-nii is still in the living room."
Hearing Koki's words, Kakashi slowly raised his head, smiled slightly, as if he wanted to say something, but in the end he just gently took Koki's hand. Koki did not struggle and let him hold it. Kakashi closed his eyes in peace.
When Koki was about to cover Kakashi with a blanket, she found the bed empty, with no blanket in sight. She guessed that Mikoto hadn't had time to bring it over yet.
That won't do. Although the temperature is still high on Natsuhi nights, a slight chill has crept into the air as night falls. Without a blanket, it's easy to catch a cold. Besides, Kakashi already has a headache. If he catches a cold and gets a fever tomorrow, it will be troublesome.
Thinking of this, Koki glanced at Kakashi's closed eyes, unsure if he was already asleep, and tentatively said, "Kakashi, I'll go get a blanket for you."
"Hmm." Kakashi still didn't open his eyes, but simply nodded slightly and released Koki's hand.
Koki turned around, pushed open the door and went out, but did not notice that behind him, Kakashi was lying on the bed with his eyes open, his gaze fixed on him, his eyes clear, showing no signs of drunkenness or discomfort.
In the corridor, moonlight streamed through the window and fell on Koki's back, casting a faint silvery-gray hue over him.
Koki walked through the corridor to the door of the storage room. He pushed the door open, and inside were various items neatly arranged, including some spare blankets.
He walked to the cabinet, opened the drawer, and took out a clean quilt. He touched the quilt and felt that it was soft and comfortable, so it must have been washed.
He carried the blanket back to Kakashi's room, gently pushed open the door, trying not to make a sound. The room was silent, and Kakashi sat quietly on the bed, his back looking exceptionally lonely in the dim light.
"Lie down quickly." Koki walked to the bedside, gently unfolded the blanket, and carefully covered Kakashi with it. He gently adjusted the position of the blanket to make sure Kakashi could lie comfortably in bed.
Kakashi obediently lay down.
"Koki." Just as Koki turned to leave, Kakashi's voice followed him like a shadow, stopping him once again.
"What's wrong?" Koki turned around, her question tinged with a hint of patience.
"Could you wipe my face?" Kakashi's voice was low and soft, as if he were afraid of disturbing someone.
"What?" Koki asked in confusion, not understanding.
"Didn't you say you wiped Shisui's face? Can you wipe mine too?" Kakashi's voice became more cautious, tinged with a hint of expectation.
"Okay, then please wait a moment." Koki replied with a smile, feeling as if he were raising several children.
"Mmm!" Kakashi's voice sounded especially happy.
"Wait a minute, you're wearing a mask! How come I..."
However, Koki's words suddenly stopped, as if pulled by an invisible thread, abruptly halting. His gaze, as if drawn by a magnet, fell on the moment Kakashi slowly removed his mask.
A stunning face appeared before him, a beauty he had never seen before.
At that moment, time seemed to freeze, all sound disappeared, leaving only the breathtaking face before him, so beautiful that he couldn't breathe, couldn't think, and could only stare blankly at that unique face, his heart surging with indescribable shock.
This is... this is fucking gorgeous!
His hair, cascading down, shimmered with a faint silver sheen, adding to his mysterious and elegant air.
Her face was as white as jade, probably because she had never been exposed to the sun. Her skin was smooth and delicate, and her deep, ocean-like eyes were bright and sparkling, as if they could see into the inner world of Koki.
Kakashi's lips curled up slightly, revealing a charming smile. The mole at the corner of his mouth, like a unique mark bestowed by heaven, made his smile even more captivating.
"No wonder you're wearing a mask..." Koki's eyes lingered on Kakashi's face, unable to look away. He stared at Kakashi's exquisite features, his high nose bridge, and the slightly upturned corners of his mouth; every detail shocked him.
Kakashi laughed even harder upon hearing this.
"You'd better stop laughing." Who doesn't like looking at beautiful people? Koki was completely mesmerized.
Perhaps because Koki had grown up in the Uchiha and was always surrounded by beautiful faces, he had become somewhat immune to them. However, the moment Kakashi suddenly removed his mask did give him a great shock.
He had never imagined that the cool, masked boy possessed such a beautiful face. From then on, the saying "Don't look at pretty Uchiha" should be changed to "Don't look at pretty Uchiha and Kakashi Hatake."
"Okay." Kakashi obediently put away his smile after hearing this, but his eyes remained bright as he looked at Koki.
