Hashirama nominated Madara Uchiha for Hokage, and Tobirama accepted the decision without protest. Later, on a day off, Izuna took Koki by the hand and led him to the village market, leaving Koki troubled by Izuna’s growing attachment.
Izuna and Koki walked through bustling Konoha before escaping to a quieter market, while Hashirama noticed Tobirama slipping away from work and secretly followed him. The chapter left Tobirama heading after Koki, with Hashirama trailing behind.
Koki wanted to buy lighter clothes to escape the heat, and Izuna offered to make them himself. The chapter ended with Izuna buying all the fabric and planning how to make Koki’s clothes.
Izuna and Koki grew closer during an outing, while Tobirama and Hashirama watched them with jealousy and unrest. Madara, Tobirama, and Hashirama each spent the night unable to sleep, troubled by thoughts of Koki and Izuna.
Koki dreamed of Obito confronting him in a blood-soaked forest, Kakashi reliving his painful memories, and Itachi finding his brother dead. Koki woke at dawn in a sweat, shaken by the recurring dream.
Koki struggled with painful dreams and his desire to return, while his ties to Madara and the others held him back. After Madara and Izuna each kissed and comforted him, Koki remained caught between love and confusion.
Koki wrestled with his feelings for Madara and Izuna while Tobirama found him by the river and feared he would leave. Koki stayed silent about his possible departure, and Tobirama promised to find him wherever he went.
Koki summoned the system in a secluded clearing, unleashing a surge of power that vanished along with him. He reappeared amid the ruins, where Kabuto Yakushi recognized him and exclaimed that he had returned.
The system told Koki that his redemption mission was complete and began its separation procedure, prompting an emotional farewell. Koki left home for his planned trip to Mount Myōboku with Jiraiya after reassuring a jealous Obito, who asked him to return early.
Koki traveled with Jiraiya to Mount Myōboku, where the Great Toad Sage revealed that Koki was unique across parallel worlds and could determine the Shinobi World’s fate. Koki eagerly agreed to visit other worlds, hoping to reunite with Izuna and the others.
