After chatting for a while, Dai Mubai and the other four each took their own Immortal Herb and sat down in the open space next to the dormitory. Several large trees provided shade, and the five of them each occupied a corner and consumed the Immortal Herb. Soon, five waves of Soul Power of varying strengths rippled across the open space.

The dormitories that Flender prepared for the eight students were not in the same place as the dormitories for the regular students.

Tang San and his two companions went to find the Grandmaster again. When they opened the door, the Grandmaster was sitting at the table, flipping through a scroll of Soul Beast illustrations, while Luo Sanpao was dozing off at his feet.

"Grandmaster." Tang San took out a crimson herb with faint blood-red veins flowing between its leaves from his Storage Soul Tool and placed it on the table. "Dragon Blood Grass. Its main function is to activate and strengthen the bloodline of dragon-type Soul Beast."

The Grandmaster took the Dragon Blood Grass. Looking at the crimson herb in his palm, Luo Sanpao was extremely excited and eager to eat it. The Grandmaster was silent for a moment, then solemnly thanked him.

He broke off half Dragon Blood Grass, squatted down, and offered it to Luo Sanpao's mouth. Luo Sanpao leaned in and swallowed it in one gulp. The Grandmaster then ate the other half and sat down cross-legged.

Luo Sanpao also sat down. His two hind legs were facing forward, and his front paws were resting on his knees, in the exact same posture as the Grandmaster.

Its body no longer showed any signs of being bulky; its once round belly had shrunk back, and its limbs were long and powerful. Two small horns sprouted from its head, still very immature and purple in color. The man and the beast closed their eyes at the same time, and fluctuations of Soul Power emanated from their bodies.

Xiao Wu stared curiously at Luo Sanpao's posture, wanting to get closer to take a look. She had only taken half a step forward when Tang San reached out and stopped her.

"Absorbing... please don't disturb it."

Xiao Wu nodded and quietly retreated.

The three of them tiptoed out of the room and returned to the open space next to the dormitory.

Several hours passed, and the five people were still sitting cross-legged in the same spot, their Soul Power fluctuations sometimes strong and sometimes weak. Three people stood guard beside them.

Oscar was the first to open his eyes. He jumped up, his Soul Power still a little unstable, but his face was beaming with joy. "Hahaha! Level three! I leveled up three times! I jumped straight from level thirty-seven to Level 40!" He clenched his fist, "And I feel my Soul Power is still surging upwards, it's just temporarily stuck, it should be able to rise again! I love you guys so much!"

"Ugh--" Xiao Wu curled her lips in disdain.

A clear voice came from the side. "Stop being so vain. I'm Level 40 now, I've leveled up seven times."

Ning Rongrong stood up from under the tree, holding the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda in one hand. The pagoda shimmered and spun, even more translucent than before. She glanced at Oscar and blinked. "But Little Ao, your skin seems to have gotten a lot whiter after you absorbed it, you've become Xiao Bai. How about I take care of you?"

Oscar smiled and cupped his hands in thanks, "Thank you for your kindness, Your Majesty." His gaze fell on the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda, and he suddenly frowned slightly, "However, Rongrong, your Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda seems a little different from before."

"Oh? Is that so?" Ning Rongrong lowered her head and counted up the floors one by one. One floor, unchanged. Two floors, unchanged. Five floors, seven floors—she continued counting, but her voice suddenly stopped. Eight floors. Nine floors.

Ning Rongrong quickly covered her mouth. The Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda slowly rotated in her palm, its nine-story body shimmering with light.

The Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect's support abilities are unparalleled, but its flaw is equally fatal—it can only absorb seven Soul Ring. Her father, Ning Fengzhi half his life to it, yet he still failed to break through the seventh level of the bottleneck. This shackle that had trapped the entire sect for over a hundred years has now transformed into a nine-story pagoda in her hands. She raised her head to look at Tang San, her eyes slightly reddening.

Third Brother, do you still have Aromatic Silk Beauty?

Tang San shook his head. "Immortal Herb are rare and hard to come by; we might have to wait many years."

A hint of disappointment flashed across Ning Rongrong's face, but then two faint blushes appeared on her cheeks.

Xiao Wu comforted her, "Rongrong, don't worry, there's still hope." She turned her head and noticed Wang Xingyu, "Xingyu, why are you holding a fan and smiling so lewdly?"

Before she could finish speaking, Ning Rongrong suddenly lunged at Tang San, her target his cheek.

Wang Xingyu reacted swiftly, his fan opening in a flash, perfectly positioned between the two. Ning Rongrong's kiss was imprinted firmly on the fan's surface.

"Stop kissing the Little San, kiss the Tang Sect's fan instead, it'll do the same thing." Wang Xingyu held the fan, his smile extremely happy.

Xiao Wu stared in disbelief, silently giving a thumbs up.

Wang Xingyu put the fan back into his Storage Soul Tool. Last time, Meng Yiran almost kissed Tang San, and it was this fan that stopped her. Ever since then, he'd had this idea—to help Little San block a few more times, and this fan would become the Tang Sect's most prized treasure.

Ning Rongrong didn't pursue the matter of kissing the fan. Blushing, she took two steps back, her gaze sweeping over the three of them. Her voice softened slightly. "If—if Xiao Wu doesn't mind, no, Xiao Wu definitely minds. If Xiao Wu 'Third Brother doesn't mind—" She took a deep breath, "I might marry Wang Xingyu."

Oscar, standing next to him, had his mouth agape enough to fit an egg; he was completely petrified on the spot.

"No—" Wang Xingyu's strange smile froze on his face, "What Little San Xiao Wu doesn't mind being a mistress? What about Little Ao and my opinions?"

Oscar nodded vigorously beside him, "Yes, yes!"

Ning Rongrong ignored Oscar and said to herself, "No, I must personally report back to the sect about my Martial Soul Mutation into the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda. I'll trouble you to ask the dean for leave for me." After saying that, she turned and walked out without looking back, her steps extremely fast.

Oscar stared in the direction where Ning Rongrong had disappeared, completely frozen in place.

Tang San Xiao Wu understood that Rongrong would be a little excited, but not to this extent.

Zhu Zhuqing's aura suddenly surged, and a circle of Soul Power rippled out from her. A very soft meow escaped from her body, and her hair moved without wind.

Xiao Wu quickly approached and asked, "Zhu Zhuqing, how many levels have you leveled up?"

Zhu Zhuqing looked down at her palms, her fingertips still trembling slightly. "Level five. From level thirty-five to Level 40." She paused, "And I feel like the medicinal effects haven't been fully absorbed."

"Wow, Zhu Zhuqing is amazing!" Xiao Wu grabbed her hand.

Zhu Zhuqing turned around and bowed deeply to Tang San and the other two. Xiao Wu quickly helped her up, saying, "No need, no need, we don't do that between us."

No sooner had he finished speaking than a deep tiger roar suddenly came from Dai Mubai's side. A circle of white Soul Power exploded from his body, and a White Tiger phantom flashed behind him, causing the air to buzz.

Xiao Wu turned her head to look at Dai Mubai, who was still sitting cross-legged with his eyes closed. "He roared so loudly, and he's still not awake. I hope something bad has happened to him?"

Tang San shook his head. Zhu Zhuqing paused, hesitated for a moment, and then took a few steps closer.

The moment she approached, Dai Mubai suddenly opened his eyes. Zhu Zhuqing instinctively took two steps back, but Dai Mubai was faster—he reached out with one hand and firmly supported Zhu Zhuqing's lower back, pulling her back half a step. A smile played on his lips, and his voice was low. "Little thing, you've delivered yourself to my doorstep, and you think you can leave?"

Zhu Zhuqing turned her head, her eyes as cold as ice. "Do you want to die?"

Dai Mubai not only didn't let go, but his smile widened even more, "Zhu Zhuqing, haven't you noticed? I've been as innocent as Xingyu lately."

Zhu Zhuqing stomped hard on his instep.

Dai Mubai a cry of "Ah!" and let go of the foot, hopping a couple of steps on one leg while clutching it, wincing in pain.

Zhu Zhuqing glanced at him and said indifferently, "Save your sweet talk for your lovers. Wait until you're truly as pure and innocent as Xingyu before you start talking about sweet talk." After saying that, she turned and left, her ponytail swinging in a neat arc over her shoulder.

Wang Xingyu felt something was off. What did it mean to be "as pure and innocent as me"? It sounded like a compliment, but it didn't quite feel right. Oh well, he decided to continue admiring the fan.
