Personality

Xiao Wu is assertive and readily takes responsibility for others. After defeating Tang San, she claims leadership of Dorm Seven and promises to protect Wang Xingyu despite his low Soul Power. When older students bully the work-study students, she tells Wang Sheng that she will shoulder the burden as their new boss 11 12.

She enjoys fighting and treats sparring as a way to test new techniques. During her first Moon Shadow practice, she eagerly challenges Tang San and accepts Wang Xingyu’s criticism of her predictable movement. Her playfulness also appears in teasing her companions, joking that their Martial Soul Fusion Skill is their “child,” and mock-dueling Wang Xingyu with Tang San’s spider legs 15 49 63.

Her confidence becomes fierce protectiveness when her family is endangered. She reprimands Wang Xingyu for knowingly letting Tang San face Shi Nian alone, refuses to abandon Wang Xingyu during the Ancient Tree of Life climb, and fights the Silver Moon Wolf Emperor through severe injuries after Wang Xingyu is critically wounded 82 130 157 160.

She is less enthusiastic about classroom study and saving money: she repeatedly dozes during theory lessons and spends nearly all her allowance on food. Beneath these habits, she remains strongly attached to her Soul Beast identity, swearing never to harm the Soul Beast race 18 20 146.

Nuoding Academy

Xiao Wu becomes Dorm Seven’s boss by defeating Tang San in the newcomers’ customary fight. She challenges Liu Long’s bullying in the cafeteria, then helps defeat Xiao Chenyu’s group of upper-year students. Afterward, Xiao Chenyu acknowledges that she calls the shots at the academy 11 12 16 17.

During their school years, she forms a sworn family with Tang San and Wang Xingyu, placing herself between the eldest Tang San and youngest Wang Xingyu. Their Triangle Cycle becomes the foundation of their shared cultivation. Following Wang Xingyu’s advice not to spend ring slots on techniques she can learn herself, she develops Moon Shadow and Moonfall while retaining Waist Bow as a self-created skill 13 20 21 22 25 28.

Shrek Academy and the Soul Fighting Arena

At Shrek’s entrance examination, Xiao Wu serves as the team’s frontal attacker against Zhao Wuji. Her Moon Shadow–Waist Bow–Moonfall combination knocks him down without injuring him, while her coordination with Tang San and Zhu Zhuqing briefly forces him to one knee 28.

The Titan Giant Ape later carries her away during a forest expedition, prompting Wang Xingyu and Tang San to pursue. She rejoins the group unharmed and reveals Teleportation. Back at Shrek, she develops combinations with her companions and defeats Bu Le while rescuing Ma Hongjun 38 41 42 47 50.

Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well and the Tournament

Tang San brings Xiao Wu to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well after giving her the Lovesick Heartbreak Red. She joins the three-person Son of Blue Silver fusion and eventually forms her Ten-Thousand-Year fourth ring with her brothers’ support 63 68 70.

During the tournament, her black fourth ring draws public attention. She participates in Shrek’s winning streak, defeats seven opponents in succession during advancement matches, and overcomes Thunder Academy’s captain by combining Invincible Golden Body, Teleportation, and Eight-Stage Throw 82 89 90.

Separation and the Goddess of Life’s Trials

After the tournament, Xiao Wu confesses her Soul Beast identity, only to discover that both brothers already know. Tang Hao accepts her relationship with Tang San. Tang San stays to train with his father, while Xiao Wu and Wang Xingyu leave to strengthen themselves, agreeing to reunite in about four years 101.

Their search for strong life energy eventually brings them through a hidden passage to a forest connected to the Goddess of Life’s trials. Xiao Wu participates alongside Wang Xingyu; her talent raises the assessment’s difficulty to Red Level. During the Ancient Tree of Life climb, she carries her exhausted younger brother rather than leaving him behind and reaches the 35,000-meter summit with help from the Lovesick Heartbreak Red 116 119 120 130.

Her subsequent assessment and sixth-ring absorption culminate in the evolution of Soft Bone Moon Rabbit. Wang Xingyu then learns that Yue Shen has an inheritance on Douluo Continent and tells Xiao Wu she can pursue its assessment 136 137 138.

Yue Shen’s Inheritance

Xiao Wu and Wang Xingyu rescue captive children before reaching the pyramids associated with Yue Shen. After entering the inheritance trials, she swears never to harm the Soul Beast race. Completing four combined trials raises her to level sixty-four and grants twenty-five percent Yue Shen Affinity 144 146 150.

On the Moon-Reflecting Steps, she uses mobility, purification, weapons, and misdirection against increasingly powerful opponents. Her later battle with the Silver Moon Wolf Emperor pushes both companions close to defeat. With Wang Xingyu critically wounded and her own limbs broken, Xiao Wu awakens Red Moon Domain and defeats the emperor rather than merely surviving the required time 153 156 160 161.

Four-Year Reunion

Xiao Wu and Wang Xingyu reunite with Tang San when their four-year promise comes due. She introduces Big Yellow and the Silver Moon Wolf Emperor, and the reunited group prepares to draw out the King of Slaughter with Tang Hao’s support 163.
