Background / History

The first Primordial World was Jiang Ping's experimental Minor World. He established it with 100 Primal Points, setting a round sky over a flat earth and creating two million square kilometers of land. A projection of the Third Dimension's sun supplied light and energy, while replicated water formed the ocean. The newborn realm was initially volcanic, ash-filled, and lifeless. 2

Jiang Ping named the world after creating its basic environment. He scattered plant seeds, planted a Giant Tree at its center, and observed single-celled life arise in the ocean. The tree eventually reached the world's nine-thousand-meter limit, vegetation covered the land, and fish evolved to leave the sea. 2

Life diversified through repeated disasters and deliberate intervention. Jiang Ping introduced magical creatures, including Western Dragons, and created Ape-men as the first intelligent race, placing the Central Great Tree under instructions to protect them without excessive interference. The world later became home to competing races, including humans, Devouring Ants, dragons, elves, and druids. 6 16

The original world endured roughly two billion years and passed through the Ancient, Primeval, Desolate, Ice Ancient, Middle Ancient, New Century, and Devouring eras. Its final age began when Ant King Beo annihilated rival races, gathered the world's destiny through the Altar of the God Sacrifice, ignited Divine Fire, and proclaimed himself God King. 37 39

After Beo challenged Jiang Ping, the Creation God activated the World Destruction program. The World Crystal Wall collapsed, Chaos entered the realm, and World Destruction Divine Lightning exterminated its remaining life. Wind, lightning, fire, and water purified the world back into nothingness; only Lahil's Sacred Tree seed survived. 37

A later Primordial World emerged as a far greater realm when Pangu cleaved open Chaos. The Three Thousand Chaos Demon Gods were destroyed, their law energy entered the newborn world, and Pangu supported heaven and earth before transforming his body into all things. The Great Dao subsequently hid while the Heavenly Dao appeared. 42

Jiang Ping possesses the highest authority within the world as its Creation God. In the original Minor World, he could perceive its laws directly, traverse its entire territory in a step, and alter its terrain. 2

Myriad Worlds: Primordial World

Jiang Ping opened the Primordial World to Third-Dimension players as a fully immersive game, initially offering 100 test slots. Players were randomly reincarnated as mythical creatures and entered the realm during its early era of abundant innate treasures. 43 45

The first test ended disastrously when 99 players attempted to ambush Hongjun with gunpowder at Jade Capital Mountain and were wiped out. Ji Lao Jiang alone survived after entering the starry expanse, prompting Jiang Ping to accelerate the world's time flow for the first major update. 52

Dragon-Phoenix Tribulation

Player interference revealed parts of the tribulation's future and changed its expected outcome. Rather than dying alongside the Primordial Phoenix and First Qilin, the Ancestral Dragon joined Hongjun and Luohu in a three-way struggle; all three became Saints. 67

Their battle nearly destroyed the world, destabilizing the 365 stars, flooding the land, and throwing its laws into disorder. Jiang Ping descended as the Creation God, rebuked the Saints, and imposed new destinies to restore balance. 67 68

Great Tribulations and Reopening

While players were absent, the Witch and Demon races annihilated one another. Their arrays shattered the world's land into the Four Great Continents, though Houtu's creation of Reincarnation and the Ancestral Dragon's adjustment of earth veins reduced the damage. 201

When the game reopened, players entered an era preceding the Investiture of the Gods Tribulation. The realm's established Saints, major sects, hidden divine powers, and increasingly complete laws made it far more difficult for players to alter the grand trend of history. 205 210 324

The Investiture of the Gods Tribulation ended with Hongjun sealing the Great Demon born from Primordial Lord of Heaven's heart, completing the Investiture of the Gods List, and establishing the Heavenly Court. 320

Journey to the West and the Three Realms War

During the Journey to the West era, the struggle for Saint positions intensified. Wutian, Cangqiong, Tathagata Buddha, and Sun Wukong competed for tribulation merit, with Sun Wukong merging with the Six-Eared Macaque and attaining the Hunyuan Path. 446 547

The Abyss later discovered the Primordial World's location and invaded through the Elemental Plane. The Primordial World allied with the World Tree realm against the Abyss, while Yang Mei's attempt to prove the Dao expanded and empowered the realm despite his subsequent disappearance. 541 547
