Library and Progress

Your library and the Continue Reading shelf both read from the same bookmark data, so a status change in one place shows up in the other right away. To change where a specific chapter picks up instead, use the prompts in the reader itself.

Bookmarking a novel#

Bookmarking and setting a reading status are the same action: choosing any status also bookmarks the novel. You can bookmark from:

• The novel page, using the status menu near the top.
• The chapter reader, using the bookmark button in the bottom bar.
• Your library page, where every row already has this menu.

Reading statuses#

Removing a bookmark clears its status as well. There's no separate "bookmarked, no status" state you can set back to after removal.

How your progress is saved#

Opening a chapter usually saves your progress automatically, without asking. There are two cases where it asks instead:

• If you land on a chapter partway through a novel with no saved progress yet, a prompt appears: "Save your reading progress at Chapter N?" with No thanks and Save progress.
• If you already have saved progress and jump to a chapter that isn't the next one in sequence, a banner appears: "You were previously reading: Chapter N – [title]" with Go Back (returns you to your saved chapter) and Stay Here (moves your saved progress to the chapter you jumped to).

Clicking Next from your current chapter, or any chapter that follows on directly from your saved progress, saves progress silently as you go.

The library page#

Your library lists every novel you've bookmarked, with:

• Sort: Last Read (default), Recently Updated, Unread Chapters.
• Status filter: All, Reading, Plan to Read, Paused, Completed, Dropped.

Each row shows an unread count, worked out from how many chapters exist past your saved progress. A novel you're fully caught up on shows Up to date; one with no chapter data yet shows --.

Continue Reading on the home page#

The home page's Continue Reading shelf shows up to 10 novels, sorted by when you last read them. It includes novels marked Reading, and Plan to Read novels only if you've already made progress in them. Paused, Dropped, and Completed novels don't appear. Each card shows your chapter progress, and a small badge if newer chapters have appeared since you last visited. Selecting a card takes you straight into your next chapter, not the novel page.

Removing a novel from your library#

Open the bookmark status menu and select Remove. This removes the novel immediately, with no confirmation step, and a toast confirms it happened. Undo by bookmarking the novel again.

Ratings and the rating reminder#

You can rate a novel Good, Neutral, or Bad at any time from the Opinions section on its novel page. Selecting your current rating again removes it.

You may also see a reminder to rate a novel you're partway through, offering the same rating as Good, Okay, or Bad, with a Maybe later option to dismiss it. Further into a novel you've already rated, a similar prompt may ask for a written review, with Skip and Submit options. Dismissing either reminder stops it from reappearing for a while.
