Arc 29The Aether and the Valkyrie

Evenson joined Thor in Asgard as Malekith sought the Aether inside Jane Foster, then helped save Frigga and secretly aided Thor’s escape to the Dark World. Stranded in a sealed realm, Evenson revived Sigrun and encountered Hela, who claimed Asgard’s throne.

  • Evenson took command of the London Sanctum as anomalies began, and Jane Foster crossed into another dimension and returned with the Aether inside her.
  • Evenson traveled with Thor and Jane to Asgard, where Odin identified the Aether and prepared for Malekith’s attack.

Arc 30The Aether and the Succession

Evenson escaped Hela’s prison and returned as Thor and his allies fought Malekith, whose attempt to wield the Aether ended with Klayya defeating him. After Nyarlathotep revealed more about the forces shaping reality, Ancient One abdicated in favor of Klayya, while Zahaiyd and Evenson made a deal over Bio-Dome technology.

  • Evenson defeated Hela in their contest, then negotiated his release by promising to build her a worship system in Midgard, before escaping with Sigrun through a portal.
  • Thor and Loki confronted Malekith in the Dark World, but Malekith fused with the Aether, and Loki died after helping Thor fight the Dark Elves.
  • Thor, Sif, and Evenson faced Malekith in Greenwich as spatial portals disrupted the British attack, and Ancient One brought Klayya into the Mirror Dimension to fight him.

Arc 31Treasures, Spies, and Schemes

Evenson secured Asgard’s support and treasures while expanding his company’s technology and military projects, then uncovered S.H.I.E.L.D.’s surveillance and drew Ghost into his plans. As Nick Fury and Pierce backed away from investigating him, Evenson’s scheme left Stephanie gravely injured and weighing a dangerous cure.

  • Evenson told Odin that Klayya had taken Earth’s throne, then accepted a cluster of the Eternal Flame from Frigga in exchange for promising her potions and help obtaining stronger Fel treasure.
  • Evenson traded a wild imp to The Collector for aerospace documents and brought the technology back to Earth, where his company developed Tyrants, Nemesis, and Hunter Gonk.
